Fast, secure and easy to navigate. Also affordable and reliable. When you're approved you receive the amount approved, not a percentage of initial amount approved with small increments as you borrow and pay. It does what it states which is important if needed in an emergency by being able to count on a specific amount. I recommend this app.

I didn't bother wasting time to try to get customer service through the app because that seems like it takes longer and no one pays attention for certain issues. But I do have an issue with me having to keep reconnecting my main account to your account All the other accounts don't get disconnected but this one in particular. It's really frustrating to do this almost every single week. And when I borrowed $40 2 weeks ago I tried to pay it before time and I couldn't for some reason

It won't let me get more than $40 advance. I've talked to support tons of times and was told repeatedly this was a system error. Then the last time one person told me I'm just not eligible. App tells me I need to reconnect bank to get a bigger advance but when I click on it it says it's connected but doesn't show when I go back. Support is zero help. Been using cleo for years. I always pay it back.

Was great at first. I even have the subsciption. My cash advance kept going up and i always paid 2 days early. Followed all guidelines to keep it good. Same money, same everything. Then it drastically dropped to 130 and now 100. No change from my side and no reason for a drop. Will be cancelling the subscription as it does nothing but take a fee from you. Still better than some but thier is much better.

This is quite possibly the worst app for a financial institution ever created. It's constantly slow as molasses. Every so often, I have to authenticate again as if I was a new customer, even if I had just logged in a few minutes before. If your card was declined, in my case because I moved, it asks for the info again but then you type it in and it doesn't save the info or allow you to retry the payment. Can't remove the "saved" card from the other screen. Chat Support takes days to respond.

I really like the saving rules you can set; I used to use this as one of my primary methods of saving small amounts of money over time, but the two main drawbacks are the lack of earned interest and how glitchy the app can be. I wasn't able to access my money on here for nearly a year and a half after my bank merged with another. Great concept with glitchy and difficult interfacing

It's not even worth the headache. Then FYI if u ever decide that the credit builder card is not in budget and want to cancel your credit score go right back to where you started. You might as well put in the work on your on fact. Ohhhhh and getting refunds and talking to a real human is the most frustrating thing every. Now they will take your money easy, give you money easy with a 10.99 fee not good, but getting what they owe you a never happen might as well count that as a lost love. 🤦🏿♀️🤷

The first time I used this app to get an advance it worked perfectly. Now, after connecting my bank and paying up front for the Plus for $5.99, it shows an error message saying try again. It never works. They do refund the $5.99 fortunately. Also, the credit score part never works either. If you are able to talk to a human, they start a work ticket and you can expect to wait 4 days for a reply. I won't be using this one again.

This app Is very buggy. I've ran into several issues, that I've brought up and still haven't been resolved. It needs to be mentioned that customer service is absolutely a joke. For a financial institution to have no call center at all, instead everything is done through email or chat... I've had several issues, including my account getting hacked. I had nearly $450 taken, and the team at Cleo has yet to do anything about it. I can't get into my account, and have just about accepted my loss. Dont

Man. This app is great. She tells me how it is and when I'm over spending. And she keeps me at a low loan amount which keeps me from going into debt from shopping again. Lol. And the budget part is easy to understand and go along with. Try it. It's like a parent specifically created to teach you about money and savings and wants or needs. Just try it. Seriously. 🤑💸🛍️💳💰💲

The app keeps getting worse. The whole app. Let me first say, I'm never late with advances and usually early. 2nd, stop letting the bot run the show! It lies!! The bot tells me good to get $80 if I pay the $60 early "and reap the benefits" lol, nope still $60. If you get a human, they say they are under staffed and need my patience. I have hundreds in my accts but only got to $90 once. I can't go past $60 for months now. The fee's are crazy. I'm paying $40 odd $/mth(sub+fees)and u want a tip?!

Update: Cleo is trash. When I set up my original account it worked just fine, but I got a new debit card and was able to add it for both cash advances and my subscription, but it wouldn't work with my new card for some reason. Tried reaching out to support a couple of times about it since February, but all I got was, "Try it again later." So, I deleted my account yesterday, and expected to be able to set up a new account with my new card... but no. It's STILL NOT WORKING!

App is quite misleading with the language and can be very frustrating at times. I get my check deposited directly and they refer to my funds as "credit". News flash, it's not credit when the funds have been deposited up front by the federal government. Thwn they proceed to limit what I can use said funds for. Example: I just had $2000 deposited and I can only access a couple hundred at any given time. They constantly decline me and its incredibly frustrating and embarrassing. In a pinch? Forget

24 hour Cool Off period IS A LIE! It's going on day 3 that I've not been able to receive an advance. I always prepay my advances back. You have NEVER had to debit my account to get the money back. I email CS and they tell me the cool off period is no longer 24 hours! It could be anywhere from 1 week to "a few weeks"?! Really? If your using this app for the advances, cancel now. They get your subscription fees but have changed how YOU can use their services.

Cleo is absolutely fabulous! I've had this app for over a year, I use it all the time in conjunction with 2 other banking apps. I love the Cleo credit builder, & it's so convenient to see all my transactions from 3 accounts in 1 screen. The clever texts & personal challenges to save more or spend .more wisely on things I don't need are helpful and fun. If you're on the fence, get Cleo! You won't regret it. Thanks Cleo for the $60 cash advance, & my reminder to spend less at Uber Eats ;)

Everything was going well. But the app told me my credit builder card had been delivered. However it's been 3 days and I still don't have it. The support team said it was still showing shipped on their end....4 to 6 weeks probably. When I was originally 17th or 19th......app says it delivered on 22nd. One support tech(Bella) suggested it was an app issue. And that I should reinstall. I did and now the app won't load psst the logo screen

I got charged for a sub, but I received an error whenever I try to actually use the app. I've reached out to support, but they are slow and the many bots you have to chat with before anything can happen making the process excruciating. I just threw away money to get nothing in return. The other functions don't even work correctly. Do not use!

Edited: fixed most issues. Still technical issues on advance. Signed me out after updating app. Then wants me to upgrade when I have already paid for this. It is $14.99 a month and I just paid. Try to see about a advance if my direct deposit has successfully cleared and technical error. I don't know about you cleo. Reinstalled app same issues. Cleo fix yourself.

I'm new to app but I'm pleasantly surprised. It's, of course, easy to navigate but it has the unique aspect of Cleo , the chat interaction, being "truth hurts" which is very refreshing, leveling, and funny at the time. I think all can benefit by putting spending "under the microscope" even if you know where it all goes it has a different type power, I think, in writing or spoken by another. It's not just an advance app it's accountability with tools to make a change towards a better future.

I like the app. What would make it better is if customer support showed they care. For some reason it stopped my auto savings. It made me create a new savings account only to have to verify I'm me. Why would I have to go through that process when I've been saving with Cleo for years? I submitted documents proving my address & then they want a photo of me. Only problem is there is no option to submit a photo. I contact support, they leave me on seen. Twice I've messaged support with no response.
