Great idea but my Yahoo account is causing all kinds of problems. When I try to clean my accounts it just comes back with a technical error. When I go into settings to disable Yahoo, the spinning grey circle just sits there. If it goes away and I try to disable the account, I just get a blue screen when I try to go back. And if I try to delete the account, nothing happens. I've tried clearing data and starting over, but when I log in all three email accounts get loaded. So this app has become useless to me until the Yahoo issues are fixed.

Great app! It would've taken a herculean amount of effort to manually scour through my email and unsub and delete over 500 emails. My only suggestion would be to add a dark mode, as that greatly helps me see (i have a visual impairment so it's much more useful). My only complaint is that I couldn't get my old school email to work with Cleanfox, not sure if this is an issue with the app or Google themselves.

Easy to use and makes sorting through the multiple email accounts and years of spam or unwanted emails of any kind to be cleared from and stay out of that once overcluttered mailbox. I like the method of swiping in different directions to either delete/remove/archive emails as well as newsletters etc. Could use a few more options but that's not to say it doesn't include the options, ability to clean out multiple emails in the app itself.

So awesome. I consistently have struggled with junk mail just piling up for ages. Sifting through all the spam to find important emails has been a daunting prospect for as long as I've had email. Totally not an issue anymore & I'm so happy about it. Sometimes the app can freeze but I'm pretty sure that has more to do with my gigantic mass of spam and less to do with the apps functionality. Totally would reccomend.

This app is more trouble than it's worth! Just trying to sign in, is difficult enough! You enter the password Google creates but Cleanfox says it's invalid and you get stuck in this constant loop. If and when you're finally able to sign into Cleanfox, it doesn't really seem to simplify anything, at least not anymore than you can just do yourself. So I don't really see any point in even having this app so I'm deleting it ASAP.

So so easy to stop getting unwanted newsletters. Way faster than unsubscribing to each and every one. Also, I can even clear my inbox of emails that I DO want to keep getting, but don't need to keep the backlog. That applies to a lot of mine, as I enjoy different writers and news articles. I suffer from bloated email syndrome, so this app is super helpful and saves me a lot of time. Keeps me from having to buy extra Gmail storage as well. No glitches thus far. Recommend for sure!

Pretty nice, though it's kind of all or nothing... It's great that it groups multiple emails into a single sender, but not if they're from a slightly different email address from the same company. I hesitate to delete some of these, since I can't directly click in and open one of the emails to see exactly what it is. Probably the easiest thing that would help me is if it gave a date range. If the last time I heard from that source was 2013, it's pretty safe for me to let them go.

EDITED: Uninstalled and re-installed and it's working smoothly. Couldn't be more happier with the progress this app has taken! Great job developers!. Keep up the great work 2 stars to 5! 1st review: This application looked promising but I can never connect to my Gmail account to clean out old subscription and unwanted emails.. I've attempted to contact support 3xs and no answer. I was truly looking for an application that would accomplish this goal but this app doesn't seem work.

I couldn't get the app to work properly. I kept getting stuck in a setup loop; as soon as I completed setup it sent me back to the beginning. I emailed technical support with screenshots and explained the issue. I got a reply back the next day that said everything looks correctly setup on their database and they wanted to confirm that it was working correctly now. I told them that it was still not working, but I never got a reply back. Giving up after 5 days. Maybe it is a Gmail thing. Too bad.

So far it seems to be doing a good job of maybe 65% or 70% I'm not one of those people who lives in their email box. I actually dread checking my email if I haven't gotten to it in a week cuz I know it's a pile up of at least 300 spams. I tried another app but it didn't work very well and it was confusing on how to block, delete, or keep. Cleanfox is straight forward and easy to use. However, I use BlueMail that has a feature to block email or whole demain. I think using both helps.

Each update seems to make the app more inconvenient. I used to love it because i could just login to my email and clean my inbox. Now, i have to log into my emails, do the 2 step verification, then get a Imap password generated for the app for every individual email i put in. Even if i wanted to go through that process, there is a bug that once i get the imap password and copy it, it takes me back to the beginning where i have to restart the 2 step verification. This app is a mess now.

For some reason having an issue trying to sign in to just one of my gmail accounts, though it's working fine with others?? Nothing I can find in my gmail settings should be causing this issue so I'm at a bit of a loss!!! ): Tried deactivating and reactivating various sign-in confirmation methods, as well as IMAP settings, but it refuses to let me add this particular gmail address. For the ones it hooked up to, it works just fine though, so I wish I could figure out what the heck was going wrong!

Keeps giving technical error without further explanation of issue. I have tried it 5+ times. No response from help support so far. It has been 2 days. The concept of app seems great when it works. I will up the number of stars to 4 or 5 when it does. The app finally finished. It took about a week. Never heard from customer support or other high officials at the company. I have heard from customer support. This app only works once.

This app is very misleading. I went through the process of signing up, 2-step verification, all the steps needed to proceed. The scanning failed the first time after two hours. Restarted the scan and it went much quicker the second time. It claimed to have deleted 5000+ emails and 57 subcriptions. I check, all of it is still there in my inbox. It doesn't actually delete anything, just shows statistics. Complete waste of time and storage space.

I've only just downloaded this app, but already its usefulness appears to be TREMENDOUS!!! Both in terms of its straightforward graphics as well as the easy and intuitive way that you app functions, it has been extremely helpful in getting rid of an enormous number of neglected and unwanted newsletter subscriptions and services. My inbox finally has a fighting chance to get uncluttered and stay that way!

It's a good app. But there could be some improvements to the app. Can you make option buttons, if you wanted to use the 2 Step or not? Not to have to enforce it to be the only option on the app. Plus with Yahoo using the Password Key to notify the user's phone when the account is being used. I created a new code for Yahoo Account. It works. I keep getting error messages when tring to scan for emails. I keep on tring. But it does not work. cleanfox an error has occurred retrieving deleted emails

Really great app for cleaning up your emails. Note it is for only cleaning your emails - if there is any functionality for viewing individual emails, I haven't found it yet. It's pretty okay, though occasionally I would like to be able to peak at an example of an email. Sometimes I can't remember what the sender is and not sure whether I want to keep it or not.

This app is incredible!! It was so easy to use, and it *finally* took care of the multiple thousands of emails that I had let accumulate in my inbox, as well as unsubscribing from several unwanted newsletters so as to prevent them from building back up in the future! I could not be more pleased. I will most certainly be referring friends to Cleanfox. I hope that trees will be planted as a result of doing so! How wonderful!

This is a very handy app, and I've tried a few others out there and I think Cleanfox does the best at keeping junk out of your inbox. However, I have one major complaint: when viewing the newsletters received as a list, it appears that you cannot do a "Select all". Chances are, it'd be alot easier to uncheck what you want to keep, rather than checking everything to move to junk!

So far I'm in love with this app. I've searched forever for a simple app to help cleanup my Gmail account and thousands of emails from years with the same email account, useless subscriptions, spam, old emails, etc... all wanted a ridiculous amount of $ per year or month to efficiently delete and free up space, all before you could see whether the app was worth it or not. This one is completely free so far. I like that it sorts by sender and gives options to delete/archive & un-subscribe! Love!
