Normally this app is pretty good. But ever since I updated it I can't do anything. I can't open my secure inbox to message them about it, I cant verify my address to make me-to-me transfers from my checking to my savings and u can't find any other way to take care of it. Talking about frustrating! Plus it runs reeeeeally slow now which is highly unfortunate when you're in a rush.

Before I start, I want to say that NetSpend has done a wonderful job on the app. It has given me the chance to where I can upload my checks to my card. But, now that the new system is place. Can you please fix mobile load checking? When you start it to take a picture of the check it cancels itself and goes right back to the starting point like you are opening the NetSpend app to sign in. It gets really frustrating when you are trying to pay a bill.

App keeps shutting down randomly, especially on mobile deposit. I've been trying to upload a check for a few days and it freezes, then shuts down. Would be nice for this "convenient" app to really be convenient. I don't need an automated excuse about Netspend pushing something out or how a bug thru Chrome caused this. Just fix the issue, please. I've been with Netspend for years and this has me ready to call it quits.

Great app, great debit card to have. Love all the features, but I absolutely think it's missing something; ROUND UP CHECKING. Every purchase, round up to the nearest dollar and toss it into the savings account! I will probably be switching to another bank shortly if this feature doesn't come out soon. My local bank offers this!

There is something wrong with the app! It does NOT allow me to mobile check capture and deposit my weekly paycheck, I am able to start the process with the front and back image capture and the correct amount on the check, but when I hit next I get sent back to the netspend login screen! FIX IT!!!! If not I'll just delete my account and take my paychecks to a completely different banking app! Netspend just lost a customer of 3 years. It would not surprise me if you guys lose more customers.

I've used the NetSpend app for a long time but this latest version SUCKS! Everytime you view a transaction and then you press the arrow back key it just keeps taking you in a circle and you cannot get back to the home page. So if you press on any transaction and try to get back to the home page it will not happen it's just a continuous loop. This needs fixed immediately! Never had a problem with the previous app version. Previous version app was great, and so it didn't need fixed or revised.

I usually have a fairly good experience using this app. For awhile you couldn't print out statements which was very inconvenient when we were trying to get a mortgage. They have since done an update and you can now get one. Being that this is an online only bank, it's very important that they provide everything necessary through their app. However, this bank doesn't link to most any other bank if you want to transfer funds.

Been using card for 3 months now. Only issues I've had were a delayed (over 45 min)time loading cash and waiting for it to actually be available. Also, I tried Mobile check load twice, once for amount under $500 and the other over $1000. Neither were accepted (both personal and from reputable banks). Everything went through correctly too. Must not work with personal checks. Idk Also emails of transactions are 75% of the time the wrong amount. Glad I can check w/ actual app... I had easy time activating card. Wish it had chip.... I'm sure most of these issues can be rectified. Other than that, no issues. Be prepared for their fees.

NetSpend app generally worked fine until I lost my card. The app had no option to activate the replacement card; I basically had to create a new profile to use the card. NetSpend then started charging $1.95 per transaction--- not how I set it up originally, but I changed it to a $9.95 monthly fee. When I asked for a refund of transaction fees, the rep did not understand the issue and kept me on the phone over 30 minutes with no resolution. I promptly closed my account.

I have been with Netspend for 4 years. And for the most part been happy. But I gave 1 star due to my experience today. I got a bigger sized credit from a refund we got and all of a sudden I can't use my card or my account. Then we try to call it says the info we put in is wrong so we can't even talk to anyone. App and online pulls up and everything looks fine. This is a nightmare. All the money I have is in that account and I can't touch it. Thanks a lot! Hope ya'll get it fixed soon!

Had great experience with these guys for 4 years. But in the last 2 years security has been a real issue. Somehow hackers have spent my money in different countries, different states, same state but different city. When I call they seem baffled, it's your system fix it. It takes months to get money returned but they always have. The overdraft feature is great but it is 20 dollars per overdraft. I spent 840 dollars in overdraft fees which is fine if it was spent on security.

I've had this card for over 10 years and this app for about half that. Never had a problem with the app until recently. it keeps freezing up. I've force stopped the app, cleared the cache' and now I'm attempting to uninstall and reinstall. it would be ashame if it still doesn't work after all if this. Get on a fix or an update or something!

I have 2 accounts. 1 is a premier account. No issues at all. So much more user friendly. The 2nd is an all access account. This app takes way too long to load and impossible to get to the messaging. Also, impossible to transfer from all access to savings or vice versa. I've called customer service and they claim everything is in order from their end. The program freezes.

When I first got this card over a year ago for my widows benefits it was great. I usually am supposed to get my benefits the 3rd week of the month but ever since I've had this card I get it the Friday before, which is fantastic. What I really hate is they let payments go thru and charge me $20 each time. If there's no money in my account I do NOT want the payment to go thru. Payments are direct deposit and they charge $5 every month. Ridiculous! They shouldn't charge ANYTHING for direct deposit!

Ya know, I've been reading most of these reviews, positive & negative. But for me, Netspend has been great. I've been a customer for about 10 or 11 years now. Started out with prepaid, THEN they upgraded me to an All-Access account, checkbooks & everything, about a year or two ago. Their customer service for the most part has been pretty helpful to me since I've been with them. Plus, their mobile banking app has been VERY helpful with transactions, savings goals, etc. The app freezes though.😕

I just use it to check my balance. It takes some time to get to the page that shows my actual account balance but can't hate on the security precautions used. I can't figure out how to get the feature that texts me after every purchase with my new balance. Update: I'm now giving it 2stars. And I don't use this online bank account anymore. The main reason being there are so many others (online banking) that DO NOT charge a monthly fee. It's a no brainer really so I switched to Chime. ✌️☮️

The app is just ok for checking your balance, but here's some things that reflect the real value of the app. It's slow to respond & hangs very often. My actual banking app isn't even this slow & it needs to access more information. There's a ridiculous amount of popups for a prepaid card app. It's usually things that you already opted out of. Why be so annoying? The last point is that the digital copy of the physical card does not show any numbers on the card. Just a blank??? C'mon, do better

App keeps freezing. Cannot open any tabs since it automatically freezes as soon as it opens. Super annoying that I cannot view details of my account. Update: Changed my rating due to the fixing of the app & ability to view details of my account again. Everything seems to be working correctly once again. Thank you for the prompt attention to the issue.

I adore my Netspend card. I have many prepaid debit cards and apps on my phone but I really only use two. The only issue I have with this app is that it is slow af. I mean like so slow the phone times out and tells me there's an error. Its slow to load the app, to sign in, anytime you go to another 'page'. And yes I realize how petty this all is. I grew up w/out computers&internet&cell phones. But you want to make your app better? This is a suggestion.

I have not been able to get on this app for months now okay. The last time I was able to open the app I was trying to check my transactions and all of a sudden I was back at the sign in and it said my session had expired and they signed me out and I haven't been able to get back on since and it's frustrating me because there's some transactions that I want to dispute because the addition isn't adding up. I get SMS notifications for every transaction but I'd still like to see my account.
