latest upgrade means I can no longer use the app in any way. I am assured my 5 years of data is still there but as I am travelling at the moment I am looking for a new app. insane.

Great app for finding your way around but it's not just Cities. This app seems to cover a vast range of country walks and sometimes shows paths that Google doesn't seem to know about.

I paid $13 for this app to be able to use offline. But, whenever I am offline, the map completely disappears leaving you to follow stars (that you hopefully marked beforehand) in a general direction. Total waste of money.

Love this app. Had it for years & used it in Europe & India. So handy to find hotels, restaurants & general directions without being connected to the internet. just download the city map before you travel. well worth the money 5*

I love it. Way better than Google Maps BUT it needs urgent a multi select for maps downloading or (even better) a country. Now you must starting over after each selection... And that's 😨😨😨😰😰😱😱🥶🥶

We went on a danube river cruise recently. Before the trip I entered spots in the city we wanted to visit. While on the trip, my husband loves craft brews so he would search for brew pubs and we would wander around drinking beer. So easy! Added a other level of fun! Plus, in munich we were able to figure out public transportation without a hitch

Everything is good but can improve on bigger print and allow to schedule and plan the city tour like Mtrip. SUBWAY AND METRO should be clear ...

Used to be good but sync no longer works and developer's email address gets bounced. Last update was almost a year ago so I suspect it has been abandoned.

Keeps you from getting lost! Even without a international plan. All cell phones have a GPS signal anywhere in the world, so download your maps in advance. I have used it in several cities and it tells you where your at all the time. From an old guy, cool man, cool!

Can be unreliable at times. Can't always find places that are obviously there and will sometimes shut down for no apparent reason. However it is a useful app when it decides to work. There is no button to shut it down. You have to just exit the app and it keeps running in the background using up battery power unnecessarily.

Nice app, works well but missing a critical feature. There should be an option to keep the screen on so that navigation is easy. Everytime screen goes off I need to login to phone again very frustrating. Its a simple matter if screen is kept on for us to hit the power button to turn it off if we don't need the screen.

Try to update Pro version (that I've purchased) now it doesn't work. Every time I try to open app I get this message : "unfortunately the data migration to the latest was not successful. however this means that we likely need to update the migrating logic to resolve the issue......" Yes I try uninstalling and reinstall and still getting same message. That's while I hate updating apps

Before our trips, I like to research restaurants and save them in the app, with notes. While traveling, it's quick and easy to see which saved places are close to me on the map.

Nice app for the away-from-home traveller, where data roaming isnt available. The only downside is that because the maps are community sourced they may not be complete, or have outdated information that requires editing. That said, if your commhnity is missing something... find the map source Ulmon uses and add it in!

Same as Mr Gunz - great on IOS, useful on my Galaxy but nowhere near the same quality. Needs more work. Outdated info eg Dali Museum not where the app shows and it moved years ago. Westmarine Bradenton moved years ago. The app can't find places that are actually on its own maps e.g. Livingstone Heights Roelands can't be found, yet drilling down on the map will actually turn it up. Not really a very good app.

I just updated the app, after the upgrade it started to a pop up saying that data migration failed and that I should contact support. I tried to clear data and it didn't help so I uninstalled the app and yet all the offline files left in my storage. Those are large files so I deleted it manually. Luckily I not on travel, but notification before the update could be useful as users may choose to delay the update . Aslo clearing app data and uninstall shoud remove all files.

Detailed maps you can use abroad without racking up expensive roaming charges? This is the app. The maps may not be quite as good as Google but you need roaming access for that which is very expensive. Very comprehensive coverage. I did find some maps a little slow but the developers told me me they were re-writing the rendering engine from scratch to sort this out. Update: they've now done this - not only do the maps load really quickly, they look great. A bargain for the price. Update : 4 years on and the maps are beautiful and load very fast. Better than ever.

Downgraded my review from 5 stars to 1. Used to work very well offline in Italy when we used it in 2015. Now if we don't have an internet connection the maps will not load properly or shown any details. GPS is very inconsistent also but doesn't really matter when you can't see the map! Also keeps closing and says it has "stopped working."
