The last two times I've tried to purchase tickets using this app, it accepts my money and bills my checking account but doesn't issue me my tickets. I've had to call and get refunds both times and then go to the movie house to purchase tix. Too bad. I liked the convenience but not worth the hassle now. Too bad.

Works quite well in the past year or so. I buy tickets fairly often with it, and access my Scene+ points.

it's a good app, but I find myself wishing I could select movies to receive notifications when they are either available in my city OR leaving soon.

I just want to choose my theatre, and look what is playing. Why does your app need to ask for my location every 5 seconds. If i decline to share it, can it stop asking. It's very annoying. I just checked. I do have 9.2.0 installed. But it continues to ask every 5-10 seconds, even when watching a trailer. Thank you for your quick response.

Literally useless after the last update. It just opens to a blank consent screen without any information about what you're consenting to. It looks like malware

First thing first, the online booking fee is totally a scam. Secondly, I noticed they don't show you the price of the movie tickets any more, unless you decide to add a ticket. So now it is harder to compare tickets price. I don't know what was the reason behind this decision, but something tell me it is just another poopy business practice.

Can't plan ahead. Whoever thought it was a good idea to skip showing movie times for the upcoming weekend wasn't thinking. It's Monday, and neither the app or website show Saturday and Sunday as an option to view showings. Guess you have to just plan the day of.

Unworthy! It requires your location to show nrarby theaters instead of allowing you to choose; asks for your personal info in order to push ads. Adds fees for online shopping instead of giving a discount for not crowding the ticket desk. None of this happens if you pay cash at the door, so this is what the app should do! I uninstalled it and put a note to remind me...

I downloaded this application for personal convenience. But this app wanted everything about your personal information.. email ID, phone no, your phone access and location.. if you didn't put any 1 of them application not working.. I mean, why??? You created application now let the people used how they wanted.

This app is horrible. Aside from the ridiculous gouging done by the company (A freaking fee for purchasing online? Really?) I could not get the app to recognize multiple payment cards. On the seventh try I managed to get my MC to work. loading screens was on and off a pain, sometimes taking up to 30 seconds to switch screens, wifi or data. Aside from being somewhat pretty, the whole process of preparing through the app was marginally less annoying that being stuck in line at the theater itself.

IT STILL SUCKS!!! Cannot order tickets without the app getting stuck. It keeps telling me that my login info is incorrect and it's not. Doesn't allow payment other than PayPal as it gives me an error code everytime i try to add a new card.

What the heck Cineplex? I hadn't used this app for a little while (who can afford 50$ for a movie night - senior here) Cineplex tells us they're doing cheap Tuesdays so I log in to see what's playing and there's this stupid banner ad right in the middle of the screen that won't go away. Blocks enough of the screen that although one can sort of make out the info, who wants to? I guess I'll have to see what's going on on Atom instead. deleting ap.

If you navigate away from this app for more than a few seconds it "refreshes" to the home page, leaving your place where you were scrolling movies. ... also, there shouldn't be ads for watching trailers. I'm done with being controlled with what to look at. Uninstalled and using the PWA version.

Why did the app become unusable after the update? I don't want to turn on my location. I selected a location from the map and it still asks me to enable location every 2 seconds. I also liked to look at what's playing in theatres nationwide and I can't do that anymore since it only shows nearby theatres. Please fix the damn app or I'll have to cancel my subscription.

Frustrating Annoying Ridiculous absolutely terrible app; half the time you cannot even purchase the tickets for the movies you want to see. I deleted and reinstalled app thinking it would work better and still no. old version was so much better. please use some of the millions of $$ you are making at the theatres to fix this!!

I couldn't purchase tickets on their trash website so I was forced to use this app. Somehow, the app experience was even more painful, but at least I could buy tickets after working through all the issues for an hour. Then I had the privilege of paying an EXTRA FEE for using the app. Well done, Cineplex. This will be my first and last experience with this garbage company.

Completely useless. Purchased a movie in app. It would not cast to my tv via Chromecast. Had to delete Cineplex Store & reinstall like it suggests. After the 5th time, resorted to live chat, to be told they have issues with connection with Google phones & try to use another device. It doesn't work on Amazon Fire tablets either... And here we are again. Nowhere

A frustrating and useless waste of time. It simply does not work. I was planning on going out to the movies, but actually changed my mind after spending too much time trying to get info from this app. The website isn't much better. Cineplex: maybe spend a few $$$'s and have a real app and website. Uninstalling now and off to see what's on Netflix

For me, an at home movie enjoyer, the app seems decent. The user interface is clean, and if you're going out to watch a movie, you'll be paying exorbitant prices anyway, so a fee to me isn't a problem. My issue with this app, however, is the lack of home delivery option. As I said, I watch movies at home, and being forced to go to the location to get popcorn is ridiculous. I know you guys can do delivery as well, since you're on Doordash. But that may just be me, everything else is decent.
