Well, IT IS LIMITED TO 1280x720 although it says it limits only lenght of the clips. I expected as much, but I'm still aggravated with the deliberate lie. Otherwise, almost perfect app that only misses false color display and waveform. If the PRO version had it, I'd buy it.

Has some great features, but unable to save to a SD Card. Even worse, that it ends up corrupting the file when internal storage space runs out. I've lost important videos this way Moving on...

Very disappointing. A swift un- install. I was excited with the feature to record with an external mic. But you can only record horizontally and you can only record with the rear-facing camera and none of the settings are accessible. It makes it not usable why would I spend $4 if the free one can't even work. It also says the app is really out of date, and to update but there is no update so I guess it just is what it

Better than the paid for version (which requires I use camera compatibility mode and therefore loses HDR etc). Paid version does allow better Bluetooth microphone capture (higher bitrate audio).. Free is the way.. App says last updated YEARS ago, vs the Pro (paid for) version, last updated weeks ago.... I get better captures from FV Lite (free), due to better support of my camera sensors' hardware.. Haven't asked for a refund on the (useless) Paid for version.. hoping developer support inbound

I have been using camera apps for the past years but if it was possible for me to rate this app 200% I would have done that. With this camera app I can shoot a full movie with auto focus feature. The video quality is wow! Kudos to the developers and please you can include more features that will enhance the video quality. I read that mobile phones don't support this focus mode (blurry background), but this app does. I have not regretted downloading this app.

A reasonable and quite elaborate app, at very least. It cracks open most of the device's camera features and serves them to the user on a silver tray. It's most outstanding feature is the clever exploit of the widest possible dynamic range offered by the camera sensor, delivering luminescence-stable pictures, without the annoying visible aperture compensation shifts during takes, even when panning through unevenly lit scenes. Amazing sharpness and autofocus accuracy. Runs smoothly, allowing the choice of a variety of saving locations, including external SD card. Hands down, a top-shelf app. Save this rating: all five thumbs up.

I've used this on three phones. I can never get any of a number of external mics to work on it. It will say they are selected in the app. But you can check and see clearly that the monitoring feature is using the internal mic's audio. I guess it's not the app's fault that Android and even iPhone have such poorly thought out audio options. But still...

Pro: app allows to lock exposure/white balance/focus. Pro: app allows setting focus and exposure independently by (long) pressing different areas. Con: app does not show ISO/shutter/aperture even when explicitly turned on... :( Deal breaker for me. Con: no option to select internal mic when headset connected for monitoring. Con: app does not allow to adjust mic gain. Overall: will check back in a year or so to see how this app is evolving, it has huge potential but lacks features I need. Keep up the good work!

The app says that it has updated the issue with rooted devices (I have a Samsung S7) being able to save to the SD card. I have followed every tutorial I can find and the app will only save to the internal storage even when you direct it to a custom folder on the SD card. Even more frustrating it creates a 'ghost' file that has the custom directory path, but it is just a hyper link to the actual file.... on the internal device file. This would be an incredible app for pocket film otherwise.

Nokia 6.1, android 9. 1) Native app and other video rec apps support STEREO sound but I get only mono (stereo selected from Settings). 2) Battery drain, phone get hot. 3) No pause button! 4) No MANUAL FOCUS!!! 5) Only HD in Lite version, they say only time limit. Can not test 4K and video stabilization in full HD. This app is way behind other similar apps.

It really does great work as it allows me to adjust the focus before recording. I was really sick of my phone camera keep adjusting the focus while recording videos. But luckily I found this app and it just solved the annoying problem. My camera does not keep adjusting the focus any more, and it just stay at the right spot throughout the whole video.

Thank you. I just need an app to stop my Samsung camera to constantly (and annoyingly) auto focusing every time I tried to make a tutorial. Imagine making something so tiny and difficult and when you finished you finally realized that you actually recorded a 30+ minutes *BLUR* video on it! I hope that won't happen again. One thing though, why does it ask to be allowed to connect with my contact, location, etc that don't really have any connection with a video app...? It made me paranoid.

Needed a camera app that can take a Bluetooth mic input, this one works when using the rear camera, but inexplicably switches to the internal mic when using the front facing camera, and there doesn't seem to be a way to use the Bluetooth mic even though it's selected in the menu, maybe it's a bug I don't know, but I want to use an external mic so I can use my phone's front facing camera from a distance. If the developer fixes this then I will give it 5 stars.

Not up to date, and will crash. I want to use a Bluetooth mic on videos. I tried this. It would for a short 1 min video. Then trying it again, the app began to be very lagging. My phone got hot. I restarted 2 times. Powered off once. The app never worked again. Deleted and got a refund. Also I noticed it will not do front facing cameras. Samsung S20

Just what I was looking for. Needed an app that would record video while getting audio from my Blutooth headset. Other apps would disable the camera because they made my phone think I was on a call. This worked even though at install and initial startup a message popped up saying it might not be compatible with my version of Android.

Inaccurate description: "The Lite version is a fully-functional version without any time or feature restriction: it just limits the maximum length of the individual clips you can record. Please acquire the paid version to remove this limitation and record clips of any length." The Lite version restricts the available resolutions to 1280x720 and under. On the plus side, there does not seem to be a record time limit other than file system limitations of 4GB, and the app will automatically start recording a new clip. Other advertised features work as expected. Face detect auto-focus works well! I would love to see a custom white balance feature added where I could take a picture of a white card to set white balance.

I like the fact that this AP works on the phone allowing me to record audio with the Bluetooth headphones. However the one down side for me is that only works with the rear facing camera. When making videos for you tube I need to use the front camera in order to assure that myself and everything else is in frame. It would be great if you fix this issue.

I like this app, but I can't get full functionality from it on my Moto G6. In settings, under "Set image parameters," changing Contrast, Saturation and Sharpness has no effect on my phone. Furthermore, the app doesn't allow me to change to a different frame rate (e.g., 24 fps). A big disappointment for such a nice app. Suggestion: create an assignable shortcut button (or 2) on the live view, that links me directly to any camera control for faster adjustment (e.g., Image Parameters/Contrast).

That app seems great However I have installed it in a LG Alcatel phone and a Samsung phone on both phones it does not recognize the SD card therefore there's not much space on these older phones you can't record no more than few minutes worth of video. As far as me using it to be able to try it out to edit some video it doesn't recognize that SD cards. The price of the regular app is not that much I would have no problems in buying it. If someone could help I would appreciate it.

Love this on my Samsung 20 plus. The standard camera suckssss... im disappointed at Samsung. This app has great low lighting with little to no grainy look. The aperture is wide. And the rolling shutter. One thing... can you slow down the auto focus. It looks nice. But too quick. I'd like a smoother tap focus from one subject to the next. Not sure if you get me. Thanks guys.
