Just a great game all-round. I really recommend setting up a large viewing device as the crime scenes are way too detailed and dark to be seen clearly enough on a mobile phone. That's about the only drawback. Stories and game system are easy to learn and self explanatory. Recommend for anyone.

The crime scene doesn't work well on a Samsung Galaxy A71. There is a terrible drift when looking around and the "view" spins in whatever way if feels like, it almost feels as if the investigator is drunk. It's barely playable. On other devices it works better.

Pixel 5: Tabbing out of the app causes the screen to go black, and it never recovers. I need to completely close out the app and then reopen it for it to work again. Incredibly frustrating if you want to multitask. Scenario = Train from the Past.

App doesn't work at all on my Pixel 3A. You download the scenario and then it just goes to a black screen with audio, and if you try to exit it crashes your phone. What an absolute waste of money buying the game for the app to not work at all. Avoid!

It works very well, and I'd be willing to increase the star rating if I were able to clear one thing up with the developers: after using it once, my Galaxy A70 touchscreen became completely unresponsive, and I had to use a hard reset using the side buttons. I have now uninstalled the app until we next play the game. I know that touchscreen unresponsiveness is more often than not related to 3rd-party apps; is this one of those cases?

Bought this thinking it would be really fun - settled in to play and couldn't get the cards to scan. Phone camera works fine but in the game, the scans are nothing but fuzz (tried on multiple android devices including S7 and S9 Note) Spent 20 minutes trying to figure out what the problem was only to find others having the same issue for the past 2+ years. Extremely disappointing as it seems like an awesome premise... we are returning the game.

The scanning didn't work well. It was incredibly frustrating and stalled the game. It felt like a one player game with having one phone scanning things and others just kind of twiddling their thumbs and waiting for the player to read. Very little interaction between players.

We have given it an honest shot. Got everything set up, the app. 1st the app and box design it does not state Cleary what each selection means. It turns out those are entirely separate games. 2nd once you do figure out correct tutorial, the tutorial is unclear. We got ackwardly stuck trying to scan random things. Overall experience was frustrating. Would not recommend this.

We were playing the game with friends. We discovered the game has a time limit. A-TIME-LIMIT! Why? This is the dumbest feature on the app, for THIS game. There's no option to toggle the timer on or off. Bad idea. We wasted all that time (3 times) playing because of that single feature. Don't waste your money buying the physical game, UNTIL they either remove the timer or give us an option to turn the timer OFF. Great game, bad app = wasted time. Get rid of the timer. Also, add a back button.

I've tried to buy an extra scenario today - "Vampire in the Fog". I was charged but I didn't get the scenario. I've already tried "Restore purchases" button in Settings, it didn't work. Can you please restore my purchase? I've enjoyed the game so far and I'd really like to try new scenarios.

The core component of this game is scanning QR codes however the camera doesn't seem to focus after you scan the first card. I find myself switching between my camera app to get a card into focus then switch back to the game. Please add touch to focus. After this has been updated with touch to focus I'll re review. Besides that the game is solid however that one problem almost breaks the game entirely

Really great app, and has massive potential. Would be excellent if they gave the option to have the phone in the other landscape position, as when I put my phone into the glasses it pushes down on the buttons on the side of my phone. The other side wouldn't have that issue. My only niggle.

Played the tutorial, I'm new to this genre of game. I kept pressing the 'Goodbye' button by mistake instead of the scan window, which was irritating. But apart from that, I loved the gameplay and idea. Managed to solve it quite quickly. It wasn't rocket science, lol.

The idea of the boardgame is nice & fun. The mandatory app, however, is a disaster. A serious issue that the app has is the unadjustable time limit that forces an unnecessary and unavoidable deadline to the game. Good luck solving any scenario in the allowed time. The app stops you from playing further. Let players adjust the subjective length of time. The speed isn’t adjustable by players. The forced time-limit completely ruines the experience. Unplayable! 🤦

They are in desperate need of a hint system if this game is to survive. It has great potential but have played two scenarios and both have been a poor experiences overall. They started great but i ended up stuck, scanning every combination i could think of to try and find a critical combination missed (random rather than deduction). Alot of people seem to be saying this about this game, and i would agree. hopefully theyll take feedback onboard. additionally, new scenarios are expensive.

A nice game, but the app is really bad. My family of five found it very inconvenient to follow the game on a small screen of a phone or even a tablet, so we tried to screencast it to our big TV via Chromecast. It went well, but for some reason the screen layout of the app won't rotate from the portrait to landscape mode! We tried it on both Android and iOS, but no luck :-( Can you please update the app to support the landscape screen orientation?

Excellent app, however the music is far too quiet, on my phone at least. I get that you don't want it to overpower the experience but it's more of an irritating distraction at present which is sad because the music sounds spot on...holding it right next to my ear. Maybe allow users to set their own volume from a louder maximum setting.

I really enjoyed this, the mysteries are really thought out and stimulating, the only qualm I have is after a couple uses of the scanner the camera refuses to focus and I have to go to the history screen a couple times before it focuses again. Other then that i really great mix of physical board games and app technology.

For such a well-designed game, the number of cases is disappointingly low. Replayability is also very low. Despite the VR moments being quite rare (1-2) per mission, the gameplay still makes you feel l accomplished. The DLC is heavily overpriced. Maybe with more freely available publisher-provided content, I could give more stars.

The app works quite well, but has a few rough edges. The only game-breaking one we found so far was that there is no "back button" when it displays multiple pages of text. Too many times one of our players accidentally tapped "Next" without reading, with no way of anyone seeing what was missed. The VR images are really low-resolution, at one point we couldn't find an item at a scene even when we knew what we were looking for. We just scanned the card as if we did to move on.
