To be completely blant, the developers really needs to work on every component of this app. Not only the user interface, but the login too. I'm locked out of my account and there is nothing to retrieve it; come on, seriously? No security questions or email login? That's one of the biggest and most simple mistakes. The majority of the people are spread across large spans of space and the chances of matching with someone in your area are greatly reduced to an almost impossible rate. The messaging aspect could use an upgrade as simple as a read receipt. The settings menu is so bland and being able to toggle a mile limit would make the biggest of difference. Swiping is harder than it should be and you're not going to be making profit off of "super chispas" or whatever those mild accessories are. The animations are also tragic, how could you mess that up? With a more minimalist/modern style and better marketing, this could blow up and wouldnt just be a cheap offshoot of Tinder but for Hispanics. Get a good team on this because there's potential. But, genuinely disappointed. There's so much to improve that it couldn't possibly get worse.

Great app. Great interface that's easy to use without much fluff. On a personal note, I find the yes/no questions to be kind of cheesy. It might be just me, but the switching of random words into Spanish in normal English sentences feels stiff and almost forced. Another thing to consider is that Mexicans aren't the only latinos out there and those gimmicks feel like they're just geared towards people identifying with that culture. Overall enjoying the app though (:

I swear they self populate this app with fake accounts. You can tell when the person lives close to you, is attractive, and only has ONE photo + no description. I think it's just to get your hopes up. However, being that there are fewer people using this app I have found it easier to match with people as opposed to Tinder and the others. Also, if there is no one close to you they won't tell you. They will simply show you hotties completely safe from your warm embrace living 100+ miles away.

The most frustrating thing about this app is that even when you put in your location preference they still only show you people who are 200-400 miles away. I live in an area where the Latino population is very high, so I wish the app would take your location preference into account. Only seeing people who are hundreds of miles away defeats the purpose of me using the app. If they fixed this it would make it much better.

As much as I love using this app I had to uninstall it because the screen is frozen at only saying Chispa, and when I emailed the contact service here they informed that the email is unable to be found or is unable to receive mail which doesn't help me there. A lot of bugs that need to be fixed on, and even though I liked the app it just doesn't function.

1. Any way you can fix the auto capitalize and double space to add a period like regular apps allow. 2. When we receive a match/like can you allow us to open the persons profile and view their additional photos as well as show their distance. As of right now the only way to see the rest of their profile photos is if you like them back. Out of curiosity. All these features work on the apple version of the app. Why can't it be the same exact uniformity on the Android version???

For a free app, it's ok. However your algorithm needs a ton of work. Your "expert picks" are all over 100 miles away from me, on top of that, how are you even deciding who that is when all of these profiles have zero detail. My recommendation, check out bumble and hinge's interface, copy that and this app would be golden. I should at least be able to use your bare bones preferences in this free version. Also add profile verification, there's too many fakes.

There are definitely some bugs to be worked out. First, when I first made my account and accidentally logged out, I could not log myself back in until I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Second, I got my first two matches immediately at the same time from a notification tab. When I went to the Chispa app to taken a look, they were both gone and did not appear under matches.

I downloaded this app about a week ago and so far my experience has been a bad one. The swiping feature sucks, it's hard to scroll through pictures, but the number 1 things that I absolutely hate about this app is the distance feature. No matter what the support system of this app tells its users, changing the distance feature does absolutely nothing to help you, it still suggests people that live hundreds of miles away. What's the point of matching with someone that you can't even meet?

This could be an awesome app to use but theres a few issues that make it ineffective. The biggest issue is being able to set where you live, it allows you to select a distance such as 20 to 100 miles but you rarely see anyone under 50 miles. I have my account set to 20 miles and I constantly see profiles that are 200+ miles away. Also we should be able to message the person if desired.

This app has two main issues: 1) you see a random selection of singles in your area, but the area is a very, very wide range [sometimes over >250 miles away,] and 2) the images are not optimized for mobile devices. I used Chispa for about 2 weeks and my data for just the Chispa app was almost 2GB - that's just for one app's usage! The app would otherwise but a great way of meeting if they allowed you to see people within a specified distance, and if they optimized their images to use less data.

Setup makes it way too easy to block people or remove them from your matches accidentally. Doesn't let you choose a range for location so you find someone who might be 500 miles away. It leads you to believe you have likes so you can buy a subscription, then all the "likes" disappear and you never find out who they were. Customer service doesn't respond to messages/emails. Horrible app.

The app changes my birthday on it's own. I keep switching it back but it never stays. I try to swipe up to see photos and 80% of the time it wont let me and I end up having to wait between swipes to see the next photo. I set the age range I wanted and it always changes back to the default range the app started with. I also dont like how there is no option for swiping within a certain distance. Also, in the messages section the matches above are featured in a circle. Well a lot of the time the face of the person isnt shown within the circle. Instead its the side of their body, just the cheek, from the eyebrows up, or from the chin down, and sideburns and ear. If these bugs can be fixed, this app will be so much better.

Finally was able to use the app. It has a number of problems, for one it is slow and glitchy. There are a lot of empty profiles, if they just have their snap don't bother, they are clout chasers and want attention. Lots of inactive users, which after a certain time their account should be terminated. The distance fuction is basically useless. It showed people in my area but now only shows people 100s of miles from me. What is the point of the distance function if it is not going to work?!

App is trash and pricey for very few options they give you. They want you to pay bumble prices but the filters dint work well, there is no teleport to other locations, I traveled outside the American continent and you can't use it. So, basically they ask for more when giving you very few options. I paid for a subscription and canceled it and I couldn't use it at all. And no refunds. So, done deal.

I tried this app and to say it was frustrating is an understatement. I had my distance set to no more than 40 miles and would only get recommendations 150+ miles away. It's a waste of time to weed out people who are, for example, smoking/drinking/friends with benefits when you asked for the opposite. In other words, your preferences don't matter because you get sent whatever.

It's ok but needs more features for instance it should not be so hard to set a preferred distance and end up getting some matches over 100x the distance then my preferred location. I paid for one month subscription back in December and it was not worth my 24.99$ spent, I would like more thoughts on how to improve chispa as well as other dating sites and make things a lot better for the men/woman who participate in finding their special someone it would be nice to see progress in this app soon.

I really like how the app catered to the Latino/hispanic community, but the app felt weird. A bit glitchy, and I could not easily find the option to filter the potential matches. Another app that sort of limits you if you don't pay for a subscription. The main reason I am deleting, however, is that there are limited people in my area using the app. I plan to meet up with people as I meet them online, so long distance is not going to work for me.

I can't orient and crop my pictures properly anymore; I used to be able to but now it doesn't let me. It shows me a long rectangle that I can't reshape. Fix please? The app itself works great, there aren't too many ads and the like limit is a LOT more generous than Tinder. But now, I seem to keep getting people 200 miles away from me in my feed :/ the integration of live videos seems pointless to me because I'm not really interested in those

Chispa app was a letdown. Despite setting preferences, matches were off. It’s pricey with few options and ineffective filters. No teleport feature for travel. Subscribed, canceled, but couldn’t use it. No refunds. App is slow, glitchy with many empty or inactive profiles. Distance function is useless. Easy to accidentally block or remove matches. Customer service unresponsive. Swiping feature and picture scrolling are poor. Distance feature doesn’t work.
