It worked great until I stopped using it for a while. Somehow I'm signed out and because I no longer have the same ph num when I was using the app before on this device I cannot retrieve the code with my new ph num. So I guess I cannot use this app at all now. It won't let me sign in and trying to contact someone is a no-go. So sad too. I really like chevron but I can't use their app and can't get no ones help. Never change your ph num on same device and get signed out or you're screwed. 😓

When I first downloaded it, I thought this app was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Even though I would have liked to been able to use it in store as well as at the pump. However, it seems after some updates, I find myself very dissatisfied with this app. I recently purchased a $75 CHEVRON gift card and I cannot link it to this app for some reason. I've had this problem once before with trying to add CHEVRON gift cards onto this app. This glitch has costed me $75, that's non-refundable.

I originally gave app 5 stars just because of the convenience and $1 off. But the in store purchases on advertising of points were never applied like the reeses points. I've tried several times to earn points with that particular purchase as I eat a lot of reeses never did it apply any of my in store purchase points. So I dropped the rating to 3 sorry guys fuel points are great but purchase points are a lie.

I specifically applied for and received my Techron card so that I could use this app but upon attempting to add the card as a payment method, it tells me my "card can't be added at this time and to contact customer service". I have called them twice and they can't resolve the problem. At this point I'm ready to cancel my credit card and uninstall the app. Very frustrated..

Seems like a well made app but I am unable to add my debit/credit cards as payment methods. I've tried several valid cards from different financial institutions but all result in the error "There's a payment issue". I've even tried clearing data and reinstalling the app. Hopefully an update will fix this soon so I can actually try using the mobile payment feature.

I love this app for about a week, and now it never works. When ever I go to pay my bill or check what my balance is it would work. Just says this is an error. I have tried deleting it and redownloading it, but it doesn't matter every thing I try it doesn't work. Really wish it would because it was really convenient and easy to use. Now I just get frustrated with it.

As others have experienced, I got charged the credit price ($0.10/gal more) instead of the cash price when using a Chevron credit card. I didn't notice it right away so this app has actually ended up costing me. Why not fix it on your end instead of having each user call customer service? Seems like a waste of resources and time for everyone. It was easy to use but I'll wait until it's fixed before reinstalling.

I can't add a regular credit card, just PayPal and some Chevron cards that I don't have. Which defeats the entire reason I wanted the app. (Chevron, please don't respond and tell me it's coming soon or offering to help me set up other payment types.) For comparison, the competitor's app (Exxon Mobil) automatically just used the card I already had added in Google Pay. Also, when I tried to back out without paying, the app hung and I got a spinning circle. So it feels kind of flaky. And I didn't like being forced to set a PIN. My phone already has a PIN, and using fingerprinter reader in addition would be OK, but let me decide if I want the tiny amount of extra security a PIN would offer.

When you look on the map it says every station is doing the rewards thing, but I went to 2 different ones and once I got there the app said discount cant be used at that location. Re: developer comment, thanks for the explanation, but this confusion is causing customers to have a very negative first impression with the app and rewards program and should be addressed asap before you permanently lose the entire early adopter audience.

I only downloaded the app for station locations and bill pay. I've only had it for 3 days and it was working just fine for what I wanted it for, however today it just stopped sending the text code for auto login. Tried several times but no code was ever sent, even though it says it was when I click on resend code. After 3-4 times, it tells me that I have tried too many times and to try again later. Still, will not send text code ... It has just stopped.

would be nice to get the discount at the pump instead of waiting until the statement comes out. Updated to 1 start after calling the number they said to call. The whole process of using this app is a pain in the butt! It's way easier using the card and getting your discount credited right at the pump then. Calling the number resulted in more frustration and the credit could be in the form of a gift card instead of a credit card credit! That's just nonsense. I cannot recommend this app.

Don't waste your time. If you are loading this, hoping to use it to save money, it does not happen. I am surveying fuel brands for best mileage, and using all major brands. Instant savings so far from Shell and BP/Amoco. I use the app, the discount shows up immediately. I tried this app at 3 stations, all show up on the app as participants, paid full price, each time.

Frustrating rewards system. The app seems ok. Not all chevron stations participate in rewards. Even when you choose to drive to one that says it does rewards on app, you can get to the station & it'll tell you the rewards system isn't active. Purchases at stations that don't participate don't count towards anything. So if you have a "fuel up 3 times to get x" type of promotion, it won't count if you're at the wrong station. You have to plan well AND do trial & error. It's underwhelming.

This app used to be great, until it wasn't. Be wary when deleting you credit or debit cards from your payment methods. At least in my case, the app would not allow me to add my credit/debit cards again, rendering this app useless. I tried to contact Chevron directly, I was directed to my bank being the culprit. The bank was telling me to contact Chevron directly (which I did), and I ended up in a loop of both sides pointing fingers with no help. Other than that, the app (used to) work fine.

Very Convenient! you can pay at the pump with the app which is pretty cool. I been seeing all those videos of swiping your card and the card reader machine is a fake one that pops off the real one, so someone else is stealing your info, crazy stuff. Which is why I recommend going touch less which this app does allow me to do so overall I'm very satisfied.

incentives to join were great, first 3 fills were helpful (at what cost to my personal data, who actually knows) although kind of annoying that I am unable to pay with American Express through the App, I guess they don't want you really saving money and earning additional rewards from your preferred credit card. overall it's pretty handy if you don't have your wallet with you or want to save a few cents on the most expensive gas on the market (which I will always pay for because quality).

The instructions in the app to save $1/gallon are extremely vague. Do not activate offer until you are at the station. Even then, the app does not recognize you are at a station. I had to get help from the attendant to use the stupid thing. However, I did save $1/gallon, so I'm pretty happy with that. It was a very aggravating experience, but worth the extra effort with gas prices these days. Thx, Mr. "president"!

awesome! I filled up my car for $25 for the first time in YEARS thanks to the dollar off per discount! Yes, you only get your first 3 fill ups, but everything helps these days, do I'm really very grateful for that! even after I used the first 3 fill up discounts, I still just filled up my car and saved 25 cents per gallon which still was very helpful. the app is easy to use as well. I did have issues using the checking payment option, it wouldn't work for some reason but it worked today.

Very difficult to use. Designed to be a data-harvesting app (hence the generous initial discounts), so it is very finicky on which phone numbers are "allowed," and their routine "verification" process also routinely fails. Been able to successfully use it once; utter fail this evening. If you like gambling, go ahead and see if this app will work for you.

I use the Chevron app. I lost all my points last time I filled up bc I had to relaunch the app twice. Another problem w/ the app is you can't upload receipts easily when the app is not working. You have to take a snap shot of the receipt to email chevron and I have yet to receive points/credit for my fill up. The location on rio grande and i25 never has paper at the pump for a receipt, so youvhave to go in. Thank you
