Great for children to learn chess. From very basic to advanced lessons is very helpful and fun to learn, especially for kids. One of the best chess app for kids. Thanks ๐

Excellent, right up until learning the moves of 3 pieces - after that you have to pay to continue. Great system, but I'm not really sure about purchasing. I'm an absolute beginner.

It's great app to teach kids about but without being frustrated. But as its for kids it must support multiple devices login concurrently, because its not necessary for you to have just one kid.

Working like it should. Using the password from the school. Only downside so far is it doesn't remember the username and password (which are just random numbers) and I have to check for it every time.

Very cool app. My son loves it. Unfortunately it's a subscription based app. If it was a one time fee it would be fine, but an ongoing subscription for a preschooler to learn chess is ridiculous. I will be in uninstalling.

Great way to teach chess to kids. However since the last update the app is not running on my Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 10.0 32GB. When I launch it,the screen goes black and nothing happens. Any idea what happened? Quite frustrating as I have live subscribtion...

Good app, but way too expensive for subscription, $39.99 per year...! I would rather buy for $10 since it likely won't see improvement and additions from year to year... maybe $7.99 per year subscription for this type of game.

It is really good for kids to learn the basics of chess but you need to premium pretty quickly. I tried to go premium as my daughter was really getting in to it but for some reason it just wont let me go premium! Pretty big flaw for an app trying to make money! Would have given it 5 stars otherwise.

My daughter loves this app, however, I paid for the membership and we still don't have access to the locked levels. Very disappointed. Edit: the developer was very quick to respond and fix the issue, which is much appreciated! As i said my daughter loves this app! It's a great way to teach kids the game of chess!

Chessmatec. A FIDE Recommended site for training Beginners. I made the payment. Unfortunately, received a credit card error and there is hardly any Customer Support to reach out to for a solution. Received a call from Credit card monitoring cell for making this transaction and I confirmed the same. Don't know how FIDE approved a beta app. While I hope that I am not charged, I see that I am not the only Customer who has payment related issues.

It's a good app , but not really cheap subscription considering that is for a very young kid. You can only play very few ,very basic games ( ...which are quite appealing for the kids, thou). Online tutorial+ parental guidance is still the best option at this time.

I wanted to buy the full version instead of a subscription but cannot find how on the website like the developer comments say is possible to do. Not sure if it is a mistake or that the developer needs to reword "buy full version" to "subscribe to fill version" so that it is accurate.

The only thing to really not like is the lack of verbal explaination for the attended audience. The other thing which is only my opinion is that there's to many puzzles. Long after the idea is emphasized there's still plenty of puzzles.

Nice collection of puzzles for children(beginners). Very useful for improving chess level. There is also some story style behind, children like it. It would be nice if the story plot(non chess part) would be deeper and more interesting.

An amazing game. I like to play it myself as an adult although I installed it for my kid. My kids love it and It's an smart game, plus the way it teaches the l steps for the kids are so fun. There is a demo for each character and how to play, along with 9 exercises. I give 5 stars easily.

Great app. The litle one likes it so much. However I.have two suggestions for improvement. 1. Possibility of hiding the yellow guide dots that shows where a piece can be moved. While for start this is great, later this can be detrimental to learning as reinforces guessing. 2. Another thing is,offer the option to manually (touching a button) go to the next task. This offers the necessary time to offer explanations after move. Otherwise great app. Looking forward for other developments. Thanks

My kid (12) loves it Due to Corona many after-school programs have shut down. We decided to go for the monthly payment. It's 15nis, which is WAY cheaper than what we usually pay for a program. This way we can cancel anytime. Every move and strategy has plenty of exercise. The drawings are cute. My son plays every day and enjoys it. I rather he used his screen time for this and not some mindless game.

The app was recommended by our chess coach as a supplemental homework. So far so good, my 5 year-old really likes it, helped her improve the basics. One has to bear in mind that children should not play alone, they have to be helped otherwise they just press the buttons until get the result without really understanding why.

I am using it for my students and grandchildren for around 6 years. The app is very efficient and kids like it a lot.

It's fun but only up to a certain point. Got to learn the moves for Rook, Bishop, and Queen. Anything further and you have to agree to pay. It almost immediately grinds gameplay to a halt. This is worse than games like candy crush. CC will allow you to play the game while offering the pay option for more time or more boosts to help you complete game boards. You can still play CC without these things. Chess for kids teaches 3 lessons via short really fun games and then stops.
