It is a great app but it has some problems if it fixes these problems it can easily stand out from other chess apps like premoves which can be useful in low time control games, report feature because some people cheat very clearly and use abusive language in chat. And it also has some problems with clock in online games.

This game is fantastic, but I'm really concerned about a few minor bugs that need attention. Firstly, I won a match, but after minimizing and reopening the game, it indicated my victory while inexplicably reducing my 22 points. This issue has occurred repeatedly and is making me seriously consider uninstalling the game. Please look into this problem urgently. Secondly, if my friend sends a request to play with me and I accept it after some time has passed, it automatically registers as

overall its good, the app freezes a lot while in game. i make the move and then the app shows the previous move made by the opponent resulting in my timeout and high point loss 20-30 points. if the opponent leaves without forfeiting, it gives only minor points like 5-8 points.

multiple times always when I'm doing well it seems. the app freezes up. great connection to Wi-Fi great connection to cell towers it doesn't matter I'm tired of losing because the app keeps locking up. also when people make a mistake and quit the game they should lose points on their ELO they should lose massive points for quitting a game instead of quitting just because it's hard. I know that's what all the younger Generations like to do is quit when it gets hard but they should pay a price.

This app sucks. After making my moves my clock will still continue counting. Most annoying part,I was leading a game. I played my time refused to stop. My opponent refused to play. I lost the game in a fraudulent way. So annoying.

well i only downloaded it for the Chess Puzzle game cuz i have trouble leaning an Comprehending Difficult games like chess And chest to me is difficult But I tried She has puzzles And I'm trying to figure that one out because it's Hey guys a smaller Version of chess! But I've already noticed that it said you could play offline and online but I haven't had no luck It playing offline So that's False!! I won't to play offline and save my data, and not getting no damn ads!!🙄

Uninstall Button lets do it.. worst game ever this game has features like if we won the game then we get single digit like 6 to 9 but if we loss the game then we loose double digit like 30+ up to 45,50.. this is unfair.. almost i play 20 to 30 times in 2 to 3 hours but same results happen. Thats why i start with worst game ever

I Love this app! It looks beautiful visionally,simple/easy to use as everything is displayed effectively,with one specific feature of turning off rating while online (personally helps me enjoy more). However,one thing to add would be a (Premove)option this is the app main flaw as I find myself losing more games on time do to having to click on the piece several times in low time to be able to move it, which takes 2 seconds at most while moveing, PLEASE FIX THIS! Additional music choice aswell

Best chess game online and offline! I really enjoy playing, but I think the game could be even better if the chess board and pieces looked more realistic. Please add updates to improve the graphics and make the experience feel more like playing on a real board. Thank you for your hard work!

Everything is fine except the timer. It sucks. The time still runs even after moving a piece, which causes me to lose sometimes. The timer delays 2 seconds or more per move which is unbelievable. Overall, I will rate it 1/5 until this problem is fixed.

one of the best chess game ive ever play, you can chat with people while playing online and be friends with them! even when you play with computer/bot, you can choose the difficulty from easy to expert. but in my opinion, it will be better if the creator create a new update like two player mode so you can play with your family or friend without them need to download it on their own phone.

I really enjoy this Chess app! The graphics are sharp and the inclusion of music tracks (that you can switch on or off) are a welcome addition. Also, the sound effects when you or an opponent eliminate pieces or when strategic moves are made are impactful and well done. All this makes for a more entertaining and impressive chess playing experience than other popular online chess apps I've used. Great job 👏🏼

got a draw by insufficient material when it was mate in 5 and I had a queen and 2 rooks in the board. they use bots in their online competitive queue to minimize times to find a game. I know this as a fact because I had two "guests" in a row play an identical line with identical mistakes in the kings gambit. Constant ads.

I’ve been enjoying both offline and online modes of the Chess app, but one feature that’s sorely missing is an Undo Button. It's incredibly frustrating when a mistake is made, and there’s no way to correct it. Whether you’re playing offline or online, this simple feature would significantly enhance the experience and make gameplay much more enjoyable. I kindly request that you add the Undo button in the next update.

Great so far. I've only been playing the bots and it's a no-nonsense app for that: no need to register, you choose a desired ELO from 200 to 2100, it actually plays according to its level and you can export the game easily. It also works offline. The UI is great as well. There are ads, but if you get to the business, they're not bad at all (no ads during the game). Puzzles do require that you register and I haven't tried that yet.

It's alright, I wouldn't say it's the best chess app. There's this problem where it counts as a loss if I was to cancel mid game searching or if I click cancel rematch with an opponent. Other than that, I don't see much problems. I like how it displays what type of opening a game has begun with on the top. Edit: There's also a bug where the opponent timeouts but I lose rank elo instead of them.

This might be one of the good online chess app. You can play on and off. You can even change the format of chess based on your liking, music adds up. Hope the devs add a tournament and rapid, this will be so much fun. I'm little bothered by the ads whenever i try to exit the app. I also encountered a bug or cheater that makes my time run-out even tho it wasn't me moving. Hope this will look into. Also, please fix & do add premove and smooth whenever interacting on pieces. The delay on time too!

A truly tremendous chess game, both online and offline. Gripes: 1. Checkmate remains active even when closed, chewimg up memory and sending annoying notifications. 2. Pointless, loud advertisements about irrelevant computer adventure games pop up between chess games but this probably has nothing to do with the Checkmate game authors. There are no advertisements during the chess game, thankfully, only between games.

The obvious issue is the seemingly 5M ads that play at every break. there is nothing more annoying than not being able to jump right into another match, while you have to wait for an ad that you saw 30 seconds ago. However, what brings the one-star rating is that the timer is absolutely horrible! Playing moves that I play in my sleep and watching the clock freeze is enough to warrant an uninstall. I'm hoping that an update fixes this before I delete this game.
