❓ How to Play Chess in Our App
Our chess game is about as straightforward as it is possible to get. A wooden-style board and interface, complete with realistic pieces and conventional rules,forms part of our easy-to-use classic board game.
After selecting your chess piece, any possible moves will be highlighted in green. Illegal moves are always showcased in red. Strategically move and position your pieces around the board to capture your enemy’s pieces one by one. Once all the pawns, rooks, knights, bishops, and queens are cleared, you can go for the win.
Surround the opposing player’s king in a checkmate position until they have no legal moves to make to win and take the victory.

It's great except from time to time it forces an update that may not be as good as the last version and all your friends have to update theirs as well in order to play. Also, don't forget your password!!! It doesn't let you retrieve it through your email. Past versions let you save a game to study it. Not so the latest. Also, past versions also showed the name of country with the flag so it was educational, not anymore sadly.

So far the only thing I was dismayed with was the puzzle feature. I went in to do a quick 10 puzzles to collect the bonus. Firstly it doesn't say but the goal is seemingly to capture the Queen. Then you catch on to it but it's literally going against an ingrained chess players thought pattern of putting the King in checkmate. Which in Puzzle 9 is the very first move that's available as it is set up. Yet when you go to do so it says "Wrong Move" and instead you detour to capture the Queen. Weird

Difficult site to navigate. No Lobby. No Resign Button. Not sure about the ratings system. 🤔 Not able to play the same person again. I personally, prefer a chat box that is below the board and stats; where a player can type while watching the game...instead of a box that pops up and over the top of the board. I would love to see an official world ranking system. Also, I would like to see some tournaments.

I love this level of mental challenge, steady rhythm & not internet problems. On line goves more complex play, which is highly needed for game as "Chess". As O been studying the strategies of Chess, I have used those same skills in reading Me environment. No matter fast past or steady; I have developed a skill set capable of challenging multiple different opponents. Lastly, this app give opportunity & availability being on a mobile device, & adding establishments with Wi-Fi helps experience.

Could be better. I love this app. It does has cool features, like the missions which keeps it interesting. And the option to play high ranking players. Saved games need improvements, it would be better if the replay were live instead of pictures. An instant replay, to be able to see the last moves, is missing. More information about how to join the top 25 is needed. Overall, it's a very well made chess app, i play everyday. EDIT: 5 stars for all the improvements. I love it! Thank you ❤️

It's a fine game, and a good way to play Chess with friends. The ads are unintrusive, and the challenges are a neat feature. The only issue I have is that most of the time I try to start a match with a random person, they instantly quit. I could understand this being a semi-frequent thing, but it's more like 85% of the time. I do honestly suspect it's really a bot system of dummy accounts to increase ad revenue.

I just recently learned how to play chess and have had a great time playing on this app. Great features. *** UPDATE 1/1/2024** I love this app and have used very frequently. HOWEVER when playing people from around the world if they do not engage the game right away you have to wait the full time of 30 seconds or whatever and then you are awarded the point and then I have to sit through another commercial. Repeated back to back is time-consuming and annoying.

I had given this app four stars, (minus one because the color scheme made it difficult to see the pieces). In the past few days, this problem has gotten worse, it changes between the normal color scheme and a board so dark that i can't see where black pieces are. So...yeah. Maybe a little more effort in the board color area so I can see my game.

Ok the scoring sucks, if you get points based on how you play, shouldn't it be the same for when you lose? As is right now you always lose 6, but 90% of the time, you only get 3-5 when you win, and i noticed that, even though it was a draw, you lose points, 10+ in fact, i want to add screen shots, but there's no option for that. other than that, the app is great

Overall, it's a solid chess app. There's a few things they can do to make it even better. Such as, add correspondence chess, and have rooms with different rating skills from beginners, intermediate, advanced, and master. So far, all my opponents have been rookies, they pose no challenge at all. Other than that, it's a great app, (Especially for beginners)

Great app. I have been using it for a few years. However, I think there is a bug after the recent update. When a game is ongoing, if I take more than 20 seconds to think before I make a move, the game hangs and I no longer see opponent's move. This makes the time to wind down and it awards the win to me automatically. I literally can't finish any game anymore because of this bug. Fix!

Issued fixed! The play style is nice. But if you sign out you cannot sign back in. It says email and password do not match. When prompted to change password it does not send email. I have made two accounts and cannot log back in to either. I logged out my account because the game on my end (not for the friend I was playing with) would not load. I thought unistalling and re-installing would fix that issue. Now I need to move to a new app, If this issue was fixed it would be 5 stars.

Still a buggy game. If you turn a pawn into a queen ...it disappears on the screen. U can still use it...it just doesn't show it.. and it doesn't show if you're in check.. Update 3/21/24. Still does it. Queen disappears from.the game. The person in chack can still move freely. Resign won't work. Tried twice and it removed 2 points from. My score twice! And then still won't let me resign. Ridiculous

Edit: just played a friend and checkmated, but the game did not play checkmate sound or acknowledged checkmate. Just got stuck and we both had to resign. Works great. Great design and good menu options. Love the app. However when playing with another player, how about an undo option which the opposing player would have to agree to before the move is undone? And maybe loose points in the process?

I was playing with my husband and in the middle of a game it stopped working and said we needed to update to continue playing games together. We BOTH had auto-update enabled so it didn't make sense. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and that didn't help - we weren't able to challenge one another to games and the message to update didn't go away. this. app. SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like the game. It wont let me leave a community poll so I'll make my suggestion here. One thing I would like to see is a one time rematch button. If a particular game gets away from you, you can hit rematch and play the person again, if they agree obviously. Perhaps if you win the 2nd game there can be a grudge match option for a 3rd game. That way you won't have to look up a try to befriend someone to play them again.

It's good enough for a online/offline Chess app. It's rating system is not good though and it's currently low on the time control options. Add the fact that there are bugs with the timers which can easily be abused (My clock running on the opponents turn), and it's deserving of its 3 star rating from me.

Originally I had this at 5 stars, then 4, now 3. On 4/9/24 my saved games disappeared. Several newly saved games did not allow play over. In several games my opponent's clock runs out, then red text comes up saying "loading" then, that I lost on time. Very disappointing when I just made the winning move or have a clear decisive advantage. Great when it works, but seriously considering uninstalling due to the unjust time losses.

I enjoy this app very much. I like how it's set up. Unfortunately I have to wait a long time everytime I make good moves because my opponents forfeit but don't leave the game. For example: The last three games i've scored my opponent's queen and two of those opponents said "haha wait longer idiot" implying that they are just delaying the inevitable loss. Please make a rule that a person cannot just sit there and WAIT for their time to run out!! Very frustrating!!

I really like playing this chess but there were a number of times that it hanged. I already won but after that loading thing, it said I lost. I am not sure if the opponent is doing something to control it. Inhave uninstalled this many times and lost all my points because of that problem. However, I still kept installing it back because I found this app much better than other chess apps.
