Full screen ads take too much away from an average experience. There are better chess apps that are less invasive and predatory.

Way too many adds! I started going through the tutorials and I'd get an add. I'd do one more tutorial and bam another add. I closed one add went back to the app and another add.

Very good app, I'm definitely improving. The progression is nice and the engine keeps challenging me. The number of ads is very high, I would pay for an ad free version potentially.

This game cheats, it calls draws regardless of how many pieces are on the broad. Most of the time a move or two before checkmate. Twice it's removed pieces of mine by moving it's piece in away it's not allowed to move.

I am sure I am missing something here, but it doesn't look like you can save progress in the middle of a game? It definitely doesn't auto save as you have to restart games when opening the app again, and I can't see a save feature anywhere. EDIT: It doesn't save your progress mid game. I..e if I make a few moves and close the app, when I reopen, all progress in that game is lost and I can only start a new game.

Not a bad app for beginners but the ratings of the AI are a bit laughable. I'm a very average player (1600) and just beat all AIs up to 2700 master without any takebacks. There's absolutely no way I would win against anyone over 1900. It'd be nice if I could pay a flat fee to remove the ads

it's a good application, I have used other apps, but this one has impressed with the stages,l mean levels, keeps on improving according to the level itself, hence this has made a player to maintain at same level if he or she gauges him or her self, better than the other apps which starts with very easy until you reach the hardest, thanks

I don't know why this game makes it so hard to make a move and revert from one. This app is very poorly calibrated and every game makes you spend 25+ reverses. Between every puzzle is 3 ads and the game crashes every time. Not a good learning experience.

it's not bad ! I'm not a great player. I had a difficult time beating 1350. I actually beat it by playing absurdly. It's tactical skill is really pretty good. Sometimes it makes ?! moves but then it starts playing pretty sharp. So far I have beaten it 3 times as black, once as white, and 2 drawn games ( 1350 )

The adds are annoying but i understand why they have them. I just wish they weren't inbetween each puzzle considering you can complete one in literally 1 second. Also speaking of the puzzles idk if the game knows what checkmate is. Some of the puzzles don't make any sence either. Telling me to get checkmate in one move when that isn't even possible. When it's "checkmate" in the puzzle there is no threat to the king at all.

I was very ready to love this app, progression like this through chess is cool. I would adore you for making a chess app that played like a tournament with brackets and so on. The issues I have with this app is unfinished games are not resumed if the app is closed or relaunched, but the much bigger issue is the ads. Ads do not bother me if I may pay to remove them. This app does not give you that option. You have to watch and wait through soooo many shallow clone game ads it verve crushing

The AI doesn't know how to promote pawns (even on "Master I (ELO 2500)" level). Please update. Other than that issue, the AI difficulty scales nicely, and I'm learning quite a bit as I progress through the levels. But such a glaring logical error drops my review from 4 or 5 stars to 2. Also, the ads are too long.

Absolute trash. It would freeze on me if I took too long thinking, you can't review games, you can't pick up where you left off mid game. It played the bongcloud against me.... I didn't lose once all the way up-to 2250 where it froze and I had to start again, which I thrashed it and won the queen in 6 moves. Ads are disgustingly invasive if you have network connection.

Excellent program for chess players . I will remember this when I reach the top someday -- if and when I might succeed versus the champions in this computer program. Finally the highest rated level players will be practicing my skill in overcoming the computer players. It was only after more than 200 games versus a championship level of the computer program, that I learned how to beat the championship level at least once following "touch move" rule. Of course, I thank God for this opportunity.

Pretty cool game, the mini levels are a bit too easy, good for newbies. The computer Ai isn't too bad to fight against, it has 7-8 levels of difficulty, I play on beginner difficulty though. As to whether or not the higher difficulty is hard enough for more experienced players, I'll let those more skilled than me review the higher difficulties.

The app would be fine overall without the absurd amounts of ads. I also noticed while I was doing the puzzles that a good chunk of them, despite saying "Checkmate in X moves" are not Checkmate at all. I passed the puzzle but the answer is not checkmate. It feels like there is a misunderstanding of what "Checkmate" means as one of the passing answers is taking a piece without threatening the king at all.

The game was great until now. I am on intermediate two, and I have been forced to restart the game three times now. Instead of letting a move go through that would result in the computer losing, it chooses to stall the game until I decide to restart which puts it down as a loss. So far I have waited for upwards of 25 minutes for the computer to make a move and it just won't.

Great game! Taught me a lot about chess so far; however, so far I have received all of the frames but it won't let me receive the "reach champion level difficulty" and the "beat champion level difficulty" frame ,which I have. The only reason why I am giving a poor rating is to gain attention from the creators so they can respond.

Boring puzzles, annoying ads. I mostly downloaded for the puzzles. Not sure if the puzzles get more complex or not, but I've gone through sooo many easy and repetitive checkmate-in-one's at this point that I don't want to keep going. There is no way to skip ahead significantly. Then there are the ads. These are the worst kind, with multiple timers hiding the close button.

Terribly Ad heavy, long, invasive and intrusive Ads. Uncloseable annoying Ads. Ads lock phone close and home buttons, and cover the phone buttons, so when you press back button, the ads will open pop-ups and more ads, or play the functionality in the ad. Game also tries to get you to buy stuff using annoying and irritating methods. Chess part of game is fun, but the terrible and awful invasive and phone locking Ads = 1 star.
