very good game, but one very BIG problem. when I reach a rating of 1050 plus, I only get 2 or 3 points for winning, minus 6 for a stalemate done by me to the opponent and minus 12 or 13 at losing. please check the system. it should be like this + 15 for winning +10 for a stalemate done by you +1 or 2 for a draw by agreement or sufficient material -5 if opponent stalemates you -10 if you lose I hope this is done thank you!

I love the app, very user friendly, very good app for learning chess for your kids, has lessons, has bot mode and a safe multiplayer. But I experienced a bug while playing bot mode in pc version, while playing, I put check to the king but the bot continued to move something else, ignoring the checkmate. I took screenshot just coz it looked funny lol but I definitely recommend this app.

My son signed up for an account which I ended up upgrading to a gold membership. Shortly after, my son ended up getting locked out of the account for putting in the wrong password too many times. I contacted support who responded to me one time but since then(9 days ago) has not responded to any of my multiple emails to try to resolve my issue. Edit- support contacted me and resolved my issue so I have adjusted my rating.

My son is 6 years old. He started to learn with free chess kid on March 2018, and then bought a membership on September. He learned sooo fast. He is on level King 29 now, he can beat 11 years old boy!!! His coach said that he is a strong player, he cant beleve how fast he learned. I really recomended this app, they make learning chess really fun and easy to understand. Great job Chess Kid!!!

This is ridiculously user unfriendly app. I got the gold subscription, but that one is on apple...does not extend to my Android phone! Yep. It also does not extend to my attached kid account! Navigation is super NOT intuitive and after spending hours I still did not find how to go back in lessons and puzzles. My 5 year old definitely won't be able to learn anything. Oh and the kid must READ English WELL to be able to interact with the app. Will cancel...

Hi I really love this app and there's so much to learn in a fun way for me. I have came up to the point where I want to learn but the app is restricted. We have the app at chess club at school but the school has stopped chess club because of Covid. The price is very expensive for kids to upgrade. Other then that one thing the app is a great way for kids to learn and engage the at of chess. If it's not the cost involved I would give 5 stars.

Really nice app and well put together. Only two suggestions: I like the grey dots signifying move options but it could be clearer when a opponents piece is on one of the dotted squares. The bot opponents are really animated which made the game engaging for my five year old. The only problem was that when she beat 'Qwerty' he started to cry! After that she refused to beat him in the next game as she didnt want to upset Qwerty!

Terrible. The free bots are super easy to beat (AI avoids losing pieces vs. checkmate), even for my 7 y/o. Playing him on the same device, there's no tabletop mode. Board flips after each turn, and if you undo a move it gets out of sync. Very disorienting. Playing online is the worst. Won't notify me when a move is made, and won't update the board. Have to back out to the home screen and go back into the game. Now, at bedtime, sending me notifications for game that ended 4 hours ago. Annoying.

This app is terrible. I have two kids that want to play against each other, but there seems to be no way to handle friends on the app. You have to play on the website instead (which has its own problems, such as an unintuitive interface, and support pictures that are different to what we see). The app just does random challenges. Otherwise, everything else seems ok.

Super simple and good app. Nobody can chat with my child or make a friend request, which is great. Friends can still be made after a good match by requesting a rematch, but the focus is purely play and I like that a lot. The upgraded version must be worth it, but we aren't that far yet. Highly recommended.

Awful app. The lessons are over complicated, don't flow and don't let you learn. It's overpriced and under delivers. There's nothing good about this app.

So supposedly i should be getting kids the same level on chess as me to go against right? Then all of a sudden boom! It all happened i was going against a player with 2000 power or whatever its called and im on 800 and supposedly thats my same level?

My kid likes it, but the software has serious flaws that haven't been fixed for a long time. E.g. it often gets stuck in lessons, you need to quit and reenter. The lesson videos often just don't play. After renewing my subscription, we are no longer able to start lessons. You need to remember a generated user name, you cannot use your email to log in, and the reminder does not work. I wrote to them, but their solutions do not work on my Samsung Galaxy A12 with latest updates.

Absolutely terrible app. Adding kids is a nightmare to accomplish and when you finally do, get both of you logged in and then click "play kid" it shows "no kids online". Can't even add kids from the app. 1/10

It's great.Plus it gets harder or easier depending on the bot. Chesskid is it's name it teaches kids how to play chess and know good moves.

Worse Chess app ever!! You can add your child and send requests until your blue in the face. There is NO requests page, not dot or pop up or no messages of any kind to connect to child, even if you both online. Absolutely pointless waste of time. Don't download this, there's better out there! 💔

I really like the game but there is one problem with your app. first when I challenge people and they lose on time sometimes the game says that he or she didn't lose and then they could continue the game and pls fix this issue 😭🥺🙏 only then I'll rate it five stars and also there is one more problem I can't find a button that activates agreeing with that move or seeing what mistakes you did
