This app works well when setup and enabled properly and comes handy. The app lacks some key features (cannot recharge wallet with cash or local India bank account. Recharge possible only with international cards), which would have made it more useful and provide more value. The customer support took a long time to resolve a simple issue like pin not working (required me to logout, login and reset pin to make new pin work)

The app is a must-have for NRIs and foreign tourists to India. It is the only option that allows you to use your international debit/credit cards to tap into UPI - India's ubiquitous payments system. The other options all currently require you to load a fixed amount at a Forex agent. The UPI wallet for NRIs and foreign tourists is a little new at this time, so you might experience kinks, but their WhatsApp support channel is generally dependable. I also wish KYC could happen at the airport.

When I saw the description I was intrigued. However I was never able to finish the setup. On top of this, these people have been calling me EVERYDAY at 4AM on my phone. I have told them a couple of times to stop calling me but they just wouldn't stop. I can't even block them because they call from a private number. I wish there was a way for me to block them. STAY AWAY.

Jazz was extremely efficient. He met my husband and me and had us both verified and set up on next to no time. Looking forward to making my first payment tomorrow.

The app is actually reasonable, but as others mentioned, there is a conversion fee of 2.95% for every top up. The most absurd about it is that I'm topping it up from a INR account and still need to pay a conversion fee. I would definately recommend the app otherwise.

If it is indeed for NRIs, how the heck do I set it up when it doesn't show me the option to select my nationality "Indian" as one of the options?? Weird nobody mentioned this issue

A necessary app while visiting India. Jazz came to verify account for me. Excellent professional service. Having this will make everything easier for your visit.

He also rasied question in problem solving so that we can identify the problem and solve it. Thank you so much for your hospitality, Jasir! You only make my india trip brighter and more happier!

It says the app is useful for tourists, but it's impossible to set up without a KYC code which as a tourist overseas you cannot get. Waste of time.

Jazz was great, like I read in all previous reviews. He met me at our hotel near the airport, and within about 20 minutes he set up not only the app on my phone, but also on my wife's. I'm eager to make my first payment tomorrow. Pay like an Indian!

You need to pay a fee to begin with. But the worst part is the activation process: the app gives you the contact of a person to verify your ID. The app says that you can go to the nearest centre or meet the Transcorp employee at your staying address. After speaking with the Transcorp employee, he said my location is too far away and that he will contact me again to solve the problem (he did not). For the activation process they say they need to upload my ID which is not ideal for a foreigner.

It works really well. Verification can be done at your place or at an office. You cannot do person to person, but all upi to companies work great. For Uber, big basket, phone bill, and the grocery seller it works great! Highly recommend it The joining fee is 800, but please if you complain about that, you deserve to go through the hassle with cash and rickshaw drivers not having change for 200 rupee

Before paying 800rs registration fee it says "Account top-up and everyday payment facilities are free of charge". But when you try to top up it charges 3% fee! The app sends sms messages to expensive international numbers without user consent. Make sure to enable outgoing call barring before u use this app with a foreign sim. (i've got charged 2$ by my operator for it) It does work, but it's buggy - luckily support by whatsapp is helpful. Bottom line: the idea is good, the implementation is bad.

Since March 20 '24, I have been told about "some technical glitch of balance mismatch" on my account. Once my balance goes below Rs. 500, I'm unable to use the remaining balance. I was forced to fund the account with more money. The cycle would repeat itself for multiple weeks. After not getting clear answers as to why the balance above is being blocked, I decided to close my account and ask for a refund on April 17. I was told this would take 72 hours. Still no refund. UNACCEPTABLE.

It's a good app. Makes payment in India so much easier. BUT, there is a joining fee of 800 rupees which is not a small amount. For a period of time there were no other fees once you pay the 800 rs. But since the first week of February, they started charging 2.95% to the payment gateway for every top up to your wallet. It's sucks because the fee adds up very quickly. Great app made for the convenience of travellers but not cheap to use.

COMPLETELY USELESS!!!! For all the time in going to the Transcorp office in Cochin and the cost of activating the app, I'm dumbfounded by how utterly useless it is. Most UPI payments here are done through personal accounts which this tourist app doesn't allow. I finally found one that would allow payment and my app immediately shut down and refused to let me log in again until I reverified my German sim which I can't do because I don't have roaming. My advice: JUST USE CASH!!!!

The in person verification was great. But 36 hrs after receiving the approval text message, I still can't use the app. When I contacted support, they told me to wait an additional 24 hrs. I was told not to bring cash since UPI is the way to pay, but after this experience I would recommend to use cash and make sure you have small denominations.

Very bad. The registration process was more or less fine, but there are other issues 1. Main issue: you can only pay businesses and you can't pay taxi or tuk-tuk drivers. You can't even add this UPI ID to Ola or Uber 2. Sometimes payments will randomly fail, but the money will be taken from your wallet to be refunded days later. This means that if you run into such situation at the end of your stay in India, by the time they return your money, you wont be able to use it
