I love the game itself, however it seems that sometimes, the most difficult level for purely the computers sake, is expert level, not the master or grandmaster level. Just kinda weird is all. Not a big fan of blitz.

Fun game. Once you play the levels, you will run out of coins and it becomes pay / watch ads to play.

An ad after each time you try to get back to the menu, independently of how much time has passed since last one (even bot and 2P games to change the settings for ex.) makes you not want to play at all. Also the International 10x10 board numeric squares are flipped (1 should be at the top left and 50 on bottom right).

I've now lost 2 online games because an ad popped up during my turn and caused me to lose because I ran out of time. I understand having ads for a free game, but no other online game I play has ads in the middle of an online match.

No response to server problems. Also, even with numerical advantage, sometimes the game automatically gives a draw too quickly. If pieces need to go up the board to be kinged and moved back down again trying to force the win, it gets timed out. Would also appreciate more statistics options - wins draws losses totals and timeline of ranking points. Any comments on that? Added : Yet more server issues. Followed up with e-mail as requested. No useful or apologetic response.

I love checkers but this game forces me to jump when I don't want to jump , It makes me jump when I know the other side will get two jumps, I end up losing when I know I would win. I thought at first it was the easy level but I'm on hard level and it freaking still forces me to jump. I'll proble end up deleting the app.

I really loved this app before the new update. I especially don't like that it forces you to take the other player when you want to play a different move. I feel like the 'Capture' section should be under settings, but that's just my own opinion. I also liked the old version where you could choose which side played first during the game. Can you make a pre-updated version available? Thanks! *Edited sentences

This is a pretty good app. You can customize the rules a bit to fit the most common variations, which was pretty helpful once I realized it. I also like how there's a lot of difficulty levels. I think that's really helpful for finding your skill level or for setting it on easy so you can pretend you're way more skilled at checkers than you are.

I liked it better before this update.. I have to unlock the next level, and its purely not as fun to play anymore, not a classic. I have the paid version, which I got before the update, and having ads go get rewards is just as bad as getting no ads in a game and noticing "Watch an ad to continue!" Can you just add a setting where you can have the previous menu with the new online addition, take away coins and energy? Until then, I'll uninstall. Edit: I raised a star for reply and sent an email.

Very realistic. Gameboard is very responsive allowing for fast action playing. The players / opponents offered up by the game are a nice touch. The Expert opponent is good but not great, therefore also a fun opponent - challenging yet not brutal. The novice & medium players make some truly lame / obviously stupid moves - as do I. They're good for beating on to reinstate some confidence. Especially if you been stomped a few times by the better players.

Waaaaaaaayyyyyy too many Ads!!! Up to 3 ads PER game!!! Literally, the most ads of any app I've used. Could be a promising checkers app. Too much time is given back upon each move. Towards end of game, a player who has used most of his time just moves quickly and recovers a ton of time. Maybe give back 1 sec instead. Otherwise, why have a game timer at all? And forced draw sucks! Three games ended when I was 1 move away from winning.

I previously gave this game 5 Stars! I'm dropping it down to 3 Stars. Since the developers added the "HINT" feature to the Online Game play & not just the Game play against the computer, it's no longer fun & competitive. Also, when you choose to use the "HINT" feature, the game forces you to make the move suggested by the "HINT" instead of having the choice to use it or simply make your own move. Plus, the "HINT" suggestion is not always the BEST move. Still a good game, just not as fun anymore.

It's a good game, but the only frustrating problem is the timing. It gives 60 seconds for each player to play, which also gives the other player a chance to waste someone else's time. It should be 15 second max, that way no players can waste other player's time. I should hire 5 stars, but I can't cuz of the timing. Please fix it. Other than that, it's a perfectly good and awesome game

If you are just beginning how to learn checkers, this game is for you. I love checkers, and this game had different modes of difficulty for the player to choose from. This game also had guide mode, witch has the setting to turn off, but no matter how many times i went in and back out of the game, it will not turn off. I recommend this game for beginners, but for experienced players, this setting can get really annoying. Good game though. Not my favorite.

It's almost as if the computer is playing against itself. The app won't let you make every legal move, just the moves that it highlights. Sometimes, there is only one highlighted move that is a very poor decision that will cost me several pieces. This happens as I see another move that would have been great, however the app won't let me select that piece. There are multiple difficulty levels, however the most challenging difficulty level (Expert) is the only one that will put up a decent fight.

Great! Its easy to use, change options, and just...play checkers! There are a few different checkerboards and checker piece colors/styles to choose from and five difficulty levels: Expert, Hard, Medium, Easy, and a multiplayer mode- ( note, multiplayer is only in person not online ). I have never experienced any bug or glitch in the game. If you are looking for a fun, free, and time-killing game of checkers, then you have come to the right place!

I like the game, and you can play by various sets of rules, however, you are forced to make certain plays even if you don't want to. Each set of rules forces you to jump the opponent, even if you don't want to. In a case where jumping makes you vulnerable to the same, or a double/triple jump, I would rather have the option to not jump and recover after than to be forced into specific play-styles. Give me an open board completely based on my decision making skills instead of this any day.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game up until recently - The Developers decreased the time (amount of moves) near the end of the game, resulting in a Draw... 😡... Previously, the player(s) were given more moves. I'm NOT asking for endless moves; however, the new algorithm is NOT giving me a good experience. Glitches that freeze mid-game and the App gives the opponent the victory.
