None existant support when you have a problem. My phone broke whilst travelling and I needed a new one, was unable to receive text message to login to account. Cannot call from abroad, emailed several times and got automated reply to call. Cannot use support on app as i cant login. I have no access to my money I need, cant book flights, accommodation, buy food. Terrible experience. The response again ignores my main problem. Calls are not going through from Bolivia where I am. Please read.

Used to be a competitive banking option, but this has gradually been eroded. What with the impending reduction in cashback eligibility (yet still requiring monthly deposits of £1500+ to qualify for it) & the regular drops in savings interest not to mention the complete removal of interest on the current account) Chase's offer is no longer competitive and I'll be moving on in the new financial year.

This is an excellent way of managing and monitoring your spending. Not only are you able to spend abroad, without financial repercussions, you earn cashback on certain bank card purchases. The cashback can be easily transferred into your main account or as I'm going to do going forward, is use this as my savings. Free money 😊🥰

I am finding the Chase banking and the app just brilliant compared to my other current account provider. Everything is so easy and the rewards etc are all just little bonuses you don't get elsewhere. Well done Chase !

I like the bank overall, but one thing is extremely annoying for me. Too slow to update when you add money. Any other bank I have used in UK it was instantly, but on Chase you have always to refresh manually and wait for the amount to popup.

so far, really good. no issues with the bank. If I have any questions, they respond rapidly. good saving accounts and cash back accounts. only downside. I can't find anywhere to put cash in to my account, got to use another bank account, and transferred it

The App is generally ok, but the "in App" support is appalling. After typing all your details in over a 45 min chat, i was told the case had to be passed to a specialist, who appeared not to have access to the existing chat, and expected me to type it all in again, and this all has to be done from the phone, as there's no website.

Such an amazing Experience, from starting out with opening process, which was effortless. To the ease of use of the app. The offers, rewards and Savings options are fantastic as is the speed they notify you of any rate changes. I am delighted to know that when I travel abroad they don't charge and opening and applying for new online products is a breeze. Thanks Chase for making a lady happy. Would I recommend you, in a, heartbeat.

It started off well but gradually they're making it less and less competitive. cut interest on current account, reduced items eligible for cash back, savings rate not as attractive. It's a good app for mobile banking but probably not much different to any other online bank now, unfortunately.

Unusable. Card no. is in app only. If buying on phone, to get card you have to swap between apps to get details. Every swap Chase forces pwd, making process slow and painful, so just wrote down card details. Has a problem, tried payment repeatedly, so pwd entered repeatedly. Needed support, more pwd entries. Total at least 20 times. If your security is so tight you force customer to be insecure to use your app, or just give up, then you failed. Worse since you're app only. Will be cancelling.

Functionally the app is fine. It's no Monzo or Starling, but it's as good as the rest. Main bugbear is the ever increasing hoops to jump through to get cashback. Latest changes make it too much hassle for the benefit, so my main spending will be from Starling now. And the once good interest rates on savings accounts are average at best. So why use chase at all?

it was fine, until a payment went out I didn't make. I don't use the physical card, it's just in Google wallet so not sure how they got my details. I was told it was an online payment and then attempt in person. Chase changed the card details, then I saw a refused transaction on tfl (not mine). I'm not confident. This is a daily spending card I use as a tap and go on my phone. Today when I logged in I was treated like a new user, had to sign up again. today I had to resign up to the app?

The app is very user friendly, but the bank is rapidly going downhill. Savings are now well below competitor rates for existing customers, and they've gradually increased the pay-in requirements to earn cashback whilst also limiting the maximum that can be earned. The latest change seems to limit where you can earn cashback, so many transactions will no longer qualify. Really disappointing and I would no longer recommend Chase. Edit: in response to Chase, their offering is far from competitive.

This is an edit to an older review. The app is much better now, but there has to be an option to log in on a laptop. If you lose your phone the only way to restore is to get in touch with the support team. OLD: The potential app functionality is great. But the speed is abysmal. It consistently requires minutes to load the numbers and doesn't update them. Navigation is slow and frustrating. It's been a problem since the beginning and it's still not fixed.

The app is generally fine although getting the card details could be easier (it would be better if it showed the reverse first). Despite all notifications turned On, I do not receive anything when I use the card or app. Despite multiple telecalls it still doesn't work, they say they get rejected. Nonsense, every other banking app works.

I'm currently having issues using the app. I have great internet connection (5G), every other thing works, but the Chase app doesn't seem to connect to to its services. It just keeps trying to load. Absolutely nothing works, but the reported system status for Chase indicates that everything is functional. Update: I had to "clear all data" of the app, then login afresh. So probably uninstalling and reinstalling the app should work for most people with similar problems. Shot: IT Support hire

I've had a better experience with the bank lately so will amend my previous review. My one remaining major issue is continual general bugs in the app which have several times now left me unable to pay for items. EDIT: Entire banking systems down AGAIN, card declined in a shop AGAIN. EDIT2: By far the most buggy and unreliable banking app I've ever used - thoroughly recommend avoiding for your own safety.

I like the round up option of Chase, but what I really DON'T like, is, when I open the app and it shows me an amount of money on my account, which is NOT correct, as latest spending are never deducted. Not even on the next day. I have to tap on this amount to see transactions and only then the available amount on account decreases. It can increase when receiving money, but not decrease after spending... Totally annoying when I quickly want to check if I have enough money on account!

Since the last update the app will not load. I can't even contact the bank since contact is managed via the app. Initially I found a workaround which meant going into settings and clearing the cache each time. Now even that doesn't work. UPDATE: uninstalled and reinstalled and it is working. One star off for the inconvenience. When it works it's excellent

I've loved being with Chase. Good app, great service. However, raising the amount needed to qualify for cashback so high (triple what it was last year) is frustrating. Yes, it can be worked around but it's just a pain. 2 stars off for that.
