In Portugal, all chargers are accessible via local vendors, but cannot access chargers in Spain. This app allows us to charge in Spain etc, but not Portugal. This and Ionity only apps I have found to allow charging in Spain and beyond. Route selection not optimal compared to self mapping as this app seems to miss some better chargers on the routes. App has our vehicle, however actual vehicle range is much further than app predicts, so more stops predicted than needed. Good app, needs work.

Used to work great. Now app stuck at startup screen (the one with image full-screen). Tried clearing cache, nothing. Un-installed app, worked. Then tried to plan a trip, so I logged in used Gmail, worked to see immediately the trip. Closed the app, reopened, got same issue. So app is now useless :( please help. - - - edit: update from team seems to have worked, appreciate the reactivity. Thanks.

Reliable and with good coverage. Would be good if it could be updated with latest battery level as power usage can change (in our case because we added a roof rack) during the journey and sometimes we got a bit scared. Also it appears to favour Ionity when Google maps appears to favour Total, meaning you won't necessarily navigate as efficiently as possible at all times.

The app keeps assuming my car has a longer range than it does, and I don't seem to be able to edit this. It also is taking me on a root that I would never take, I would like to see a list of chargers on my chosen route. Apps need to be straightforward and intuitive, I don't want to spend time figuring out your app. The website is better than the app.

I reviewed 12 apps to find charging stations, based on their performance in the Rhein-Main area of Germany. I liked this one because: + It had a good search function + It has good coverage of charging stations But, it missed some key features: - It misses many charging stations that are free to use! - Cannot filter by price - Its charging costs are consistently higher than any other provider - Does not show charging stations distance from destination or even the current position!

Great app. Used on our jouney from the UK to the south of France. Easy to use and filter through desired chargers. The route planning works well although the motorway service filter doesn't work when planning a route. It does work though when just using on the map. The card makes charging quick and easy. Highly recommended for driving an EV in Europe.

A good number of charging stations are nicely listed with photos. However, I rate the app mostely negative as distance unit is set according phone language, no in-app setting available on that! Charging costs in Euro instead of local currency. Costs shown are more expensive Chargemap rates instead of local rates. Route planner does list my car, but when panning a route it says that the car is not supported yet.

chargemap sends the chargemap pass "La poste", without a tracking number (in my opinion, saving 20 euros at the wrong end). In the small print it says that the delivery time is 4-10 working days, in exceptional cases up to 30 (!) days. in my case the pass has not yet arrived after more than two weeks, which is why I switched to the competition. The customer service is very poor and the emails are full of spelling mistakes and previous communication is ignored (I was asked for my address 4 times

Doesn't work. For any trip that requires a charge, just gives me an error message saying, "No routes found. There are not enough charging stations compatible with the autonomy of your vehicle on the route." There definitely are. Update: contacted by someone on the Chargemap team telling me there are not many charging stations in Canada and sorry. Provided a map from a ABRP showing all the available stations and options for charging along the desired route.

The route planning is mostly good but I have one frustration. You can view a map and filter that view to only show chargers above a specific speed rating. However when you're plotting a route you can't apply the same filter. So sometimes it will direct you to a slow charger for a couple of hours to top up. I don't want to ever use a slow charger on a long journey. I'd really like a way for the route planning to only use chargers above a speed rating set by the user.

Definitely the best app to find a charging station. Quite exhaustive. The support is nothing to be compared with any other app ! We exchanged mails over almost a week to find the reason why I couldn't install the app. They were kind, reactive and supportive. My problem got solved thanks to them. Highly recommend it, even for only that reason.

I would recommend it but there are a couple of problems. I would like to plan the journey in advance but can't open it on my desktop PC or on my laptop. Would much prefer to do the forward planning on the bigger screens. It also sometimes recommends too many charge stops, for instance it needlessly recommended a 1 minute stop even thought there was plenty of indicated range left to get to the next stop. 1 minute stop is pointless and when I tried to delete it it simply replaced it with another nearby charger lasting 1 minute?

Pretty good little app with many positives. Edit after reporting it a couple months ago: The favorites list is still completely broken and unusable when you have more than 8-9 items. After removing all my favorites and adding new ones and connecting android auto(or killing the app to simulate) some of the old favorites are back and my new ones are gone. Really basic bug that should be easy to reproduce and solve and makes the app unusable for me. I can also not remove 'orphaned' favorites.

Useful but not completely. Great for finding chargers and knowing availability and price. However the trip planner is useless. Suggests wierd routes and worst of all doesnt choose the cheapest chargers.

We took our first road trip from Madrid to Altea, it was our first time driving an electric in this route and this app was awesome, easy to use and super reliable! Highly recommending it

Very useful app. However the location doesn't update correctly, and so when I use it while traveling, it shows my location from an hour ago, and as a result I can't search easily for a station near my current location.

If you apply filters you have to zoom exactly right for the charging stops to show up. Moving the map means zooming in and out again a couple of times to get it to refresh and then again you hunt for the correct zoom level. Almost impossible to use properly so I rarely do

Unfortunately not reliable and not fully transparent: No longer finds any route, just shows the empty map after "calculating route" (clearing cache didn't help). Also, the displayed price could be more transparently showing the original price excl. commission.

This app has become better over time (which unfortunately is not the case for all EV charging apps) but still has it's problems. Trying to rate a charger I get "Error 000, Oops..., An unknown error has occurred". Frustrating when I'm trying to provide detailed feedback to improve the experience for others.

This was my favorite charge station app but over the past year the navigation/route recommandations have become horrible. It often suggests out of the way routes and stations. Today it recommended a 50 km detour to a slow charger instead of staying on the highway. The saved settings seem to never actually be saved. The saved routes don't actually save anything since they just reroute the destination and not the saved stations. I use the app to find stations. I manually make my desired route.
