Engaging, with good dark fantasy art. Waiting times quickly get very long, though, so don't expect to always have something to do. I would like to see more options to customize and personalize, and maybe more battles that can be won on the first go. Tip: you can organize the marching order of your heroes when you send them off to battle to give them a tactical advantage. They'll still all die, but it helps.

Great game so far! My favorite things are: ads that really provide a benefit, but are still totally optional (not time based, but decision based), the tech tree at the alchemists lab makes a lot of sense, and really makes a difference, you can progress fairly quickly, but things are still a challenge, and of course, the artwork is beautiful. Would love to see an "outpost" for some of the further out areas to allow heroes to leave not just from the castle. The actual storyline is fairly weak too

it's really a good sand interesting concept. rating is really about 4.0, but down to 3.3 cuz the battle system is heavily favored against you and it doesn't make sense.. the enemy and development progression doesn't make sense. one sec you're atk/def/hlth is 7/3/10 and you're battling an 5/2/8(which you'll more than likely lose to because most times you hit them you'll hit for zero and most times they hit you they'll hit for 4,) then the next group to battle is going to be like 9/4/40

Kinda slow. Critically, there's no way to fire or replace a hero - once you pick them, you're saddled with them. You can't even restart from scratch. I doubt they'll fix it since the game is old but it still makes it kinda sucky. You can reset the tavern recruit options by closing the game and reopening it at least, so that's something.

I've really enjoyed this game. While it does involve some grinding, it isn't nearly as close to many other popular games that require hours upon hours of grinding away for mere tokens. I have a busy life and sometimes want something simple to enjoy, and this game hits that perfectly. I don't want to waste hours of my life grinding on something that isn't even worth it. I appreciate the balance this game provides between progress, waiting, grinding, and fun.

Just wish there was a way to remove heros, find materials for forging (or just having more control of the forge in general), maybe even something of similarity to runewords from d2, multiple or procedurally generated maps/campaigns, etc. Overall, the game is fun and passes the time. Reminds me of the Disciples series in a way.

I love the whole idea of the game. It's fun to play and works the mind however I understand that the creators need to get paid but it's too hard to get gold and there needs to be more lower ranked monsters. It'd be more fun if you could get more drops and have the chance for more gold mines. It's definitely not super easy without paying but if the creators put out more of these games with making it easier to get gold and items I'd play them for sure. It's too short of a game to pay anything.

It's a nice game. There's no rush. You level up as you go and the creators give ample enough opportunities to move up in the game, plus, there is a certain unique connection and bond that grows between the player and the different characters you purchase to fight with. The storyline is pretty plain and clear, but there is room for imagination, which is very fun and keeps you keep wanting to play. It's a really cool game, taking place in what seems like medieval dark ages. I really recommend it

I have a hard time calling this an idle game, but also a hard time not calling it one. The idle aspect is relevant, but the default offline time is only 2 hours, and the majority of real progress can only be done while in game and ordering your mercenaries to engage in combat. It is fun for sure, but it doesn't really scratch the itch of an idle game, nor does it scratch the itch of wanting to play an RPG.

Very fun game, I have not spent a dime on it and have made solid progression through the storyline. Sure, spend some money to have faster progression or extra rewards from quest if you choose to do that. You can win battles by repeatedly throwing your heroes at a specific fight until you can overcome the enemies. The requirement of resources for upgrading your buildings becomes rather pricey. Which is the one downside I have had so far going from 600k to 4mil lumbar seems too large of a jump.

I haven't written many reviews, but I was completely taken by surprise with this underrated game, so I wanted to share. There is so much value in simplicity when it comes to the RPG genre, and this game nailed it. I am really hooked. The nostalgia factor for early 90s RPG computer games is running high. The game is well balanced and has wonderful immersion in the dark little world. Ads are totally optional as is the shop, I put money in just to support but it isn't needed to play and have fun.

Would be a great game if it didn't keep freezing up. And if we could actually participate in the combat instead of just watching. Really enjoyed that you let me figure out the game with just a few hints instead of a long boring tutorial. Figure out the freezing issue and the stars may go up. I have a great phone and strong WiFi so don't bother blaming me.

Love this game, very challenging. It took me some time and effort to appreciate upgrading my heros, but I accepted the challenge of it and found it very rewarding. The game play and timing elements at first are irritating, but when you see how to get past the difficulty, it's much more fun when you overcome. My only beef would be the rather paltry rewards for victory over the monsters you fight, and also, a way to earn more fragments other than $. Otherwise, this has become my favorite game.

has potential. way too slow development of "world". would rather like a slightly more grindy experience. right now, there is way too much "just-waiting." like the look and feel. needs work though. attacks at base more often. and much better explanation that you lose exp if a character dies in battle even if the team wins. as is it pushes you to not attack at all unless you have overwhelming odds... which means even more... waiting.

Game was awesome until I got booted off the game, after watching a chest ad. But besides awesome, the play lags a bit, and the buttons you push, might have to tap it a few times. Personally had no problems with upgrades, and leveling systems, which is recruiting and the armor parts. Other than that, fix the lags, and be sure that people are not booted from the game, after watching ads, you built a best game of the year reward. In the future at least a chat room. It's boring without one.

Overall, a fun experience. Difficulty curve spikes a bit too much on a few occasions and the research tree is pretty uninspired. Arena is basically not doable until late game so you have to want to play the game to keep progressing after boss one; it doesn't provide much of a compelling reason to stick around. Still, if you came to this looking for it, you've gotten most of what you wanted here and there is fun to be had.

I truly believe this game is a lot of fun. it takes a minute to kind of get the hang of certain aspects, which could be improved with some more time spent on the UI elements. In particular, a simple one that would help newcomers is understanding that the order in which you select the characters in the party really matters. So simple labels or a turn order would help. But sincerely, I enjoy the game a great deal, even the advertisements are all optional, and the reward for viewing them seems fair

Either the level progression is bugged or there is a level cap at level 62. If this is a level cap then that was an extremely poor decision by the creators. A game with a loop/replay mechanic should not have a level cap. Especially when the enemies get progressively harder. This needs to be fixed ASAP! Otherwise replay completely loses it value.

This is a slow-paced game that is great for picking up for a little time throughout the day. The gameplay can be challenging but that is a good thing. You will not get 10,000 free tokens to rank up within the first minutes of the game. Instead, you will need to review your resources, take chances and actually use some level of strategy to move ahead. It could be nicer if random encounters were more common to help level up newer additions to the roster.

I really like the game, the map, sending the units. Its sort of like a builder game but an easier version. Almost reminds me of the heroes of might and magic. Couple of issues. 1. You should be able to click on the rings in the store to see the abilities before you have the money to buy them, this is very minor. 2. As far as I can tell, there is no way to "grind exp" in this game. All the monsters thst give you exp you only fight once and they are gone.
