love love love these lights! they are beautiful, intuitive, so well thought out, i cant say one thing id change! as long as they have a long life span, which time will show, i would say the price is totally justifiable for something so innovative and beautiful. when im sleepy i dont want to have to get out my phone to control lights or speak to an assistant, i want something tangible i can touch in a half awake state. its genius!

error in android set wake time configuration. i.e. icon at top displays wake time at begin of wake cycle, not end. (brightest time, displayed at top icon/illustration, is a meaningless wake + 30 min). Makes setting alarm confusing - wake cycle begins 30 min before this illustration/icon suggests it will. This is any easy fix, please do so.

1-star -> 3-stars -> 4 stars -> 1 star! The charger bases are defective. Casper wouldn't even let me pay for a new one as they won't deliver to the UK anymore. Had to fix myself (not trivial). Seems like Casper abandoning this product (app no longer working properly either).

The light itself works but the app won't find the light no matter what I do. That means I can't use half the features. NOT impressed!! Please fix your app. It shouldn't be that hard. (Follow-up: I DID call your support line. They tried a few basic things and then told me they weren't really a tech support person and you didn't have any, and so they couldn't help me anymore and neither could anyone else there.)

The light works great when it works. However I spent some time this evening trying to figure out why the time was off on my wakeup. Turns out other people mention the same thing that it turns on 30 minutes early. It would be an easy fix but it looks like months of silence from the team.

App is buggy. No updates in nearly 5 months. Complaints about the fact you can't set different wakeup schedules based on the day have been ignored since the light was released. It would take minimal effort to make this product much better. I've gone back to my smart bulb for an alarm due to the fact Casper can't be bothered to provide basic functionality.

seems like you have to connect to the light daily to set the alarm. needs to be a way to set up a daily schedule once and never have to connect to the app or Bluetooth again. would also love to see an option to use the button to turn on the light when using as a nightlight.

It does everything it says it does, but that is admittedly not that much. The app looks nice, though it clearly prioritizes clean design over offering features and customization. An option in the app to allow the button to turn on the light would be wonderful. Without that it feels limited to a reading/wake up light and doesn't really work as a bedside lamp. If something suddenly happened in the middle of the night flipping over the device is not very practical. Also no google home integration.

Few glaring issues/misses that can easily be fixed: - The app can't control (un/pause, start/stop) the light if it is shaken awake. What's the point of this limitation? - There's no way to control the intensity (brightness) from the app. All it needs is a slider bar to allow this. - Why does it require location access? If location is turned off the app doesn't work without turning it on. The app works on Bluetooth; there's no need to access location for controlling nearby Casper devices! More...

The app is easy to use and I've already been waking up much happier and more fresh. Yes, this is "just" a light, but maybe there are folks who only want a sunset/sunrise lamp. I don't see the need for others to complain about not having sound or the time, the whole point is to adjust your circadian rhythm - NATURALLY. If you can do that for a cheaper price, go for it. Thank you Casper for making such a wonderful product!

Question - say I have it set to turn off in 45 min. And a few min after it starts to dim I decide I want it off in 15 min. I don't see any way to get that change to take effect before the 45 min runs up. Is there a way? Must I reboot? Also, the Q&As in the info section of the app says you can see the battery status in the app but I don't see it anywhere?? Other than these issues I love my Casper, I missed it the other night when I didnt have it. thanks for improving alarm feature!!

Love my casper light BUT, and this is a big one, it needs voice controls. It would be absolutely perfect paired with my google home. Its annoying to have to open my phone to turn it on, and it would fit so seamlessly into my routine with voice commands. As it is now i couldn't recommend this not so smart "smart light" to anyone with such a glaring oversight.

Love the light itself but rating the Android app here. This app sets the alarm 30 mins earlier than scheduled.. however the apple app works if I don't use the Android app at all, it messes up the settings so I had to uninstall (unusable) hence the 0 rating. Also can only turn on the light from the app at 100%.... I'd like to be able to turn it on from the app at the lowest setting to gently wake my kid up without an alarm (that's the point right)... pretty poor tbh

The physical lights are amazing. The app needs some work. Hitting the back button from any screen leaves the app, you can't have two people connected to the lights at once, and no assistant support (as of yet). Definitely excited to see where this goes!

It's been a while since Casper has released any updates for the Glow and feels like they've stopped development, sadly. I still enjoy using the lights daily and am glad the lights should continue to work regardless. I'm still hoping that they'll try to add new features, maybe a candle flicker mode or something. A couple of newer lights I bought glitch out when turning on, so I was hoping for a firmware update, but they are reliable beyond that.

Works, but confusing or wrong instructions. For wake up, the app shows the brightening will begin 30 minutes before the set time and reach full brightness at the wake up time. Instead, it starts to brighten an hour before the wake up time, reaching full brightness 30 minutes before the desired wake up time. The longer functionality isn't as straightforwardly wrong, but is confusing. Longer linger times seem to result in faster wake up brightening.

Solid app with a nice design that fits the Casper brand. However, there are a few things I feel should be changed/removed. - The alternating text stating that the glow is perfoming an action, I feel it would be better if it just stated which action is occuring and the time remaining instead of a long sentence saying 'Glow is gradually doing X' etc - The splashscreen is unnecessarily long and should be reduced or removed entirely. Animation is great but the logo is overkill in terms of length

Surprisingly very well designed and built for a brand new app AND the fact it's on Android. Really impressed with how it works and looks. That being said, some suggestions: 1) I'd like to set a bedtime and have the lights on until near that time and then have them start to dim. 2) Have different wake-up times for the weekend. 3) Would be nice if the dim-level was independent from the dim-time in that me dimming the lights didn't cause the dimming timer to advance. 4) Google Assistant integration

The app is a bit limited in functionality. These are the things I want to see improved: - ability to configure wake up on a per day basis, at minimal have a different setting for weekends! - app has to re-establish connection with the lights whenever the app is foregrounded and that usually takes a few seconds - give me more granular control, time is in 15 minute increments, make it 5 minutes at least

one major problem with this app is that you need Bluetooth to be enabled in order to wake you up with the light. however on my cell phone the phone automatically goes to sleep after a half hour which therefore does not allow the Bluetooth to wake me up. the light itself should have the capability of storing the information in it instead of using your cell phone then this item would be 100% perfect! Also for people who do not have cell phones the wake up feature is not possible!
