I needed over $1000 when my cat got out & cut himself badly. It was right at the start of the pandemic & I was concerned about tying up a lot of cash but it was emergent. Care credit was easy to use & I didn't have to be concerned with paying such an unexpected bill at a very bad time. I can pay monthly. If I pay it off w/in a certain time (determined by the card) I incur NO finance charges. A great thing! The auto-pay option is VERY helpful so I don't forget to pay.

I have a Google pixel 3a and this app is barely functioning. As soon as I open it, the window that appears (I assume) when you swipe up is constantly going up and down by itself very fast and vibrates every time. I can't get it to stop. It happens every time and has never correctly worked. I usually have to try to press a button to the payments page in between it swiping up and down and takes a few times to catch it in time. But the home screen does not work what so ever - extremely annoying.

Navigation in this app is a mess. Hitting the back button doesn't back up one screen, it closes the app. When using the provider locator, if you indicate within 5 miles, it gives you only less than 1 mile (0.9). It you ask for 10 miles, it gives you just under 2 miles. This app needs work. Using a web browser to access their website, the automated help doesn't understand you, the live chat freezes, and their menu has no link to log out. They need new website and app developers!

So glad I heard about this company! I've had an account with them for almost 2yrs now. Incredibly easy to sign up and their app couldn't be any easier to manage my balance and make payments! Even my vet accepts this as payment and it's all interest free as long as you pay the balance off within a year!!!! Helps your credit score too cause it goes towards your overall credit card usage. I recommend this to everyone (and I'm cheap)!

Good basic credit card app but it has some bugs. I use this card quite a bit to take advantage of their point rewards. so I use this app to review my transactions regularly, but as someone else mentioned it quit updating transactions in a timely manner about a month ago. I triedter clearing the cache, and the storage, and I still had the same issue. However, after uninstalling and reinstalling the app everything seems to be normal again.

Won't open, constantly says it stopped working even though you haven't touched the app. Has been broken for months. It needs a lot of work. Not even good for basic things. When you make payments it doesn't go towards the oldest "bill" even when you make a large payment causing it to think you didn't pay off the balance before interest was due, causing you to be charged interest. Please make it whwre we can choose what we want to apply the money to if we have multiple finance charges going.

Love the app because I do everything on my phone. When I need to use this app, however, it seldom opens. It will eventually open, but I have to try over and over until it does. Normally takes about 6 or 7 tries resulting in 30 minutes of continuous frustration before I can use this. If they can ever get this fixed, I'll update to 5 stars, but until then it just angers me for the 1st half hour because i have to waist so much time in attempts before actually using.

Originally,this app worked great. But recently it has become completely broken. I randomly get notifications that the app has stopped working,which makes no sense,because I can't even open it anymore. Any time I try to open the app,it just closes immediately,then I have intermittent reminders all day long that the app has stopped working. Until they fix this,do not download it.

There is no option to make payments to multiple different loans on this app. That is unbelievable. In order to make a payment to different loans, you HAVE TO CALL in the payment through the automated system, which is a joke. The people who came up with that incredibly frustrating automated system should be fired. No other automated payment system for a credit card is as screwed up as this one. I get aggravated just thinking about having to call this credit card company every month.

I have had good experience with this app so far. My payments are posted correctly, my doctors office can also post insurance payments. If I had a gripe, it would be: they send out too many "payment due" notifications and even after I send payment I keep getting payment due notifications. That is very nerve racking, makes me think I missed a payment. SUGGESTION: Allow User to select dates and times to receive notifications, and what type of notifications.

Great app easy to navigate but a few quibbles. 1. Would love a dark theme/mode. Confused as to why I have to go to the Synchrony site for anything accessibility related. 2. Screen and font size in app does not adapt to my system setting for font size (mine is larger due to low vision) so I have to reduce size a lot in order to see everything on the app.

Everything was going great for awhile. Then they lowered my credit limit without warning. Then a few months later they closed my account without warning. My balance was 0 dollars on this account. I never missed a payment and I never went over my limit. I have one CC that has a high balance, but I make timely payments. I don't have the best credit score, but It's not horrendous. I don't understand what was so bad in my credit report that caused them to do this. 😒

5 STARS FOR EASE & I love having the app to make payments & schedule appointments. 3 STARS BECAUSE: I am disappointed that the app made a decision to cancel a payment because it thought it was a duplicate. I made 2 payments of $50 each to come out on 2 different days because that's how I needed it to happen. What made me mad is that it canceled the first payment instead of the 2nd one, which caused a $30 late fee. Yes, one phone call fixed that, but it should never have happened.

The app is very generic but is functional. And simple to use. You may find the online portal has more functionality. However synchrony the issuer was quite disappointing. Despite having a balance of 270 and a credit limit of 9k on my card, spending two months unconscious in the ICU led to missing a small minimum payment. I promptly paid off the full amount upon awakening, only to find my credit limit slashed down to 300. This decision felt unjustified and far from ideal.

Tells me unexplained error. I pay on time every month at the minimum and sometimes more. I've never missed any payments. I've had several issues in the past but what gives! They lowered my limit, they dropped that limit again and are charging interest before the contract states that it will begin. I'm so done with this company once this card is gone.

Honestly, this is one of the best credit card apps, which I appreciate as I've recommended Care Credit to people for years. I never realized they had such a user-friendly app with additional resources to help you budget. I also love that it breaks each payment down individually, so you can see when any promotions you may have used will end, which is extremely important.

I was really liking the perks of the account but for the 3rd month now, it appears my payment on the app didn't go through and I will get yet another late fee. I thought maybe it was my error but I double checked I was paying from the right account and it still showed the pending payment when I went back to double check but now there is no payment posted and no pending payments. Just came here to see if it's a common problem before I decide how to deal with it.
