I tried shopping with the app and never had any luck. It certainly does not scan the internet for prices. Most of the time it can't even find what I'm shopping for and I'm looking right at it so I know it's on the internet, so start scanning! Advertising says it works in the background while you shop, searching for better prices; that's never happened. Cannot believe Capital One wants their name on this.

It is slower then most apps. The rewards take too long to arrive, it doesn't even post your award pending until after the item ships, them it sits pending for months before you can get them. They stated they will watch for a lower price after your purchase and refund the difference if it does within 30 days of purchase, well thats a lie and you contact customer support and they blame the store you purchased it from. That's a scam you can't advertise you will do something and then not do it.

Due to the massive ineptitude of the devs, you can't link cards, because buttons to confirm are off screen and you can't scroll to click. Or they show you a set of captcha images, but only the bottom 6 of the 9, and not the instructions at the top. Also any items you add to the watchlist are *only* watched on that one site, no others. You also don't get notified if the price changes. Any 'local' deals are 99% Burger King "offers". Completely Useless Garbage App.

Limiting, deceiving and a theif. There MANY exclusions and included products are limited. Also is confusing to understand what is included. pulls you in to make you think you are getting a good deal. I ordered through macy's and didn't receive any rewards. I guess what i ordered was excluded even though it wasn't listed as an exclusion. If it was, it was NOT clearly defined. The only reason I bought it from Macys was for the 10% reward. Now I have to go through the trouble of canceling. It .

Uninstalled! I was so excited to use this app! When trying to sign up, I keep getting an error saying some of the "reCaptcha" images were missing. Ummmm NO! I have tried and tried, still the same message even though all requested images were selected! UGH!! And it doesn't help at all that the images are super small and half of them are blurry as heck!! So incredibly irritated!

Love capital one, but this app is a waste of time for me. It runs super slow on any of the offers I click. It also doesn't give any big discounts. I pay just about the same as I do on the site or app without going through capital one and have faster performance and less lagging. There needs to be some major improvement to this before I would ever try it again.

Good overall, but the app needs a bit of work in the area of recorded purchases. There seems to be a glitch where it doesn't credit properly- I'll get an email stating that a credit has been issued and is ready to use, only to find that it was never added to my balance. I then have to reach out for help. The discount code feature works really well- I've found tons of discounts that I wouldn't have gotten otherwise.

This app is a waste. It's supposed to find the best deals and apply coupons the user wouldn't otherwise find. It always recommends Amazon and compares Amazon price to eBay. The "coupon" it applies is literally the coupon you get by clicking the checkbox above the "add to cart" button. I pay the same price through the capital one app as I do the Amazon app, and half the time I find the item cheaper elsewhere by searching on my own. Don't bother. Do your own research, you'll be better off.

I'm torn on this app. I've located coupon codes that I couldn't find otherwise and I've made a decent amount on cash back for gift cards. Having said that, he app is laggy, slow, and I've had to deal with the app not recording purchases. I've had to reach out to customer service several times regarding this issue. It may not seem like a big deal, but after going back and forth several times through email it makes it more trouble than it's worth. Good concept but, the app needs to be fixed.

I'm very disappointed with this app. I've had multiple purchases now that don't show up because the app does not keep you signed in. It also will not keep you signed in with the retailers. It's very frustrating! I wouldn't mess with it unless you don't mind.. For instance opening the app (which isn't fast) making sure you are logged in and then going to the retailer and logging in there again. All for a possible savings that isn't guaranteed. Rewards seem to rarely be given, I've waited months and not seen anything. My biggest dislike is that it doesn't show a product even at all the big chain stores. It's an impressive app either way. Should integrate a function for the user to indicate the product is found at other stores (i.e. Best Buy, Target, "Other"). I typically use this app as a starting point for product and then search other stores. Have found cheaper options many times on my own search.

It was good now its not. I started using this about a year and a half ago. It was great. It gave credit for all purchases. After a few months it started to go bad. I had to email their customer service every time i used the app. I had to send receipts to prove what i bought. I still have 3 or 4 hotel rewards still listed as "pending". I went to these hotels about 7 months ago. I tried to redeem points but that too didnt work right. The app is a wonderful idea, it simply fails too much

I really like it BUT, key word but. I have to go through capital one shopping app and then use the Internet (not an app) to so the shopping. which isn't efficient. there is money or % back at allot of stores I use but I can't submit the receipt to obtain the benefits. I have my credit card connected but capital one shopping doesn't automatically pick up on those emails receipts.(yes I have settings and permissions correct). so good app, not great, inconvenient.

I am a Capital One card member and I received an email for a promotional $10. I downloaded the app, and looked around for my $10 reward, which never came. I went back and read the fine print and realized that this is for new customers only. I had thought they had sent me the promo offer BECAUSE I was a loyal customer! They shouldn't send this promo offer to existing customers if we are ineligible! Disappointing. I will be uninstalling this right away.

Horrible Experience - It used to be great but now every time I go to the rewards section, it asks for login info. I ever password, it then sends me to Captcha, then goes to another login page. It keeps doing that over and over. I've reset the password, deleted and reinstalled the app and the same thing happens. Very frustrating.

This can be a great app to use for cash back. But they haven't updated their gift card redeem options in a year. Buying from Torrid is always ineligible for rewards and the Kay Jewelers site doesn't have the add to cart link working. They offer an amazing reward for buying from Kay but it seems Capital One Shopping has disabled the link. I exchanged emails with CS so they know about it, 6 months ago, and still not fixed.

This is a great app to save money especially if you are a shopaholic like me. I never benefited from the Desktop/laptop extension because I shop on the go most of time from mobile phone. The app is easy to use checks and applies coupons from retailers I am shopping with and has % back deals sometimes. I have saved quite a bit using this app last few months wish I would've tried it sooner.
