I have been using this app over 10 years. It's very handy to reduce the paperwork. I use it to scan and archive documents, receipts, ID cards, and letters. It has OCR to extract text📇📁🗃️ PDF files can be sent directly from the app. The quality is quite good, supports automatic cropping and rotation. Easy to search by file name and tags. Highly recommended 👍🏼 😀

Very good. Beginning, it has popped up a message to have a trial. I skipped the message. It was smooth sailing throughout the scanning with no issues. Clear scanning copies. I UNINSTALLED ANOTHER Cam Scanner name of the app is.. MOBILE SCANNER It kept popping up to promote a free trial. Not giving me the opportunity to start scanning. Blocking the activation scanning button. I uninstalled within 2 mins of installation.

I'm a lifetime premium subscriber. It's okay with my iphone but totally messed up with my S24 ultra. Whichever page I tried to view or open it keeps me waiting for hours saying downloading high-res image and fails everytime. Tried uninstall and reinstall, problem not solved yet. It's used to be a good application. It's frustrating I have to look for another one.

Been using the pro version for years now. Undeniably one of the best out there, ESPECIALLY the cloud backups on-the-fly. Priceless! No two ways about it. Auto cropping works very well so long as the background provides contrast to a doc or receipt. Even then dragging the bars, it's very intelligent and auto snaps to the document borders very well.

Does what it needs to do, but not optimized completely: I got a bunch of scans and I'm trying to look through a long list of files. Whenever I select a scan, to view, then go back to the list, the list is not on the same exact place on screen from when I originally selected the document. It randomly moves it around so I have to keep track of the file names and spend time scrolling around to figure out what document I had just opened previously. Frustrating and yes I have the latest version.

This app does a great job at scanning everything from pictures to documents. The images can be enhanced with various filters if desired, and sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between the app and a flatbed scanner! The autocrop feature works correctly 90% of the time, but it can be manually adjusted if necessary. You can export to picture or word file formats, as well as zip files, which is great for emailing multiple scans. Been uaing it for years now; Overall a great app!

Unbelievable every update this app becomes more restrictive unless you want to pay for the gold membership. The app works really well. Over the years more features have been added and they work very well. One of my favorite features is the ability to lock each individual scan with a password. I've noticed several adds pop up now more than before I didn't really mind them until I just noticed they removed the ability to lock your scan unless you pay. This is an awesome free app I have used for years over several significant overhauls. It still works great and puts a pdf scanner in your pocket. Does single or multiple page docs. Color balances and adjusts for off angle shooting. Sends pdfs via email or other installed apps easily. Only "cost" is a small "Created by CamScanner" watermark at bottom of page. Ads are minimally obtrusive. Awesome tool. Love it. Updating my review 4 years later...still love it!

This app is the perfect addition to my business. It allows me to scan and create PDF documents for my records. I can scan and fax or email documents, even using an older Note II the files look like I've used a real live machine (a cheap one but not a smartphone) just needs more storage space. Update 2024-Still using this app in conjunction with some others. This helps to scan pictures forms and other documents I need to PDF and forward. The tag feature helps organize and find items.

works as described. the perspective correction feature is great. February 2024 update: Been using this app regularly for over 5 years (paid version) and I still only have positive things to say. It always works well. The OCR quality is excellent. I don't know how the app compares to alternatives because I've never needed to use them.

This app is a time and money saver. Easy to use and files take up less space on your phone. Easy to take to repositories and make your own color pdf copies of documents using your phone rather than relying on their outdated, expensive copy machines. The ability to edit your copy helps a lot, too. The watermark is a reminder of the great app that does all this.

CamScsnner remains my favorite scanner to date. Ever so often I will review the the market and other apps to ensure I have the best one that fits my needs and the quality, features of cam scanner gives me what I need at unbeatable quality. I will say the pricing is getting a little up. If it goes any higher, I will switch out based off price point alone, but I do like that it's an annual membership versus monthly.

It's superior to just taking a photo because the app finds the corners, automatically crops it, and adjusts the quality to highest legibility, and clairty. It also provides several more editing, file type, and sharing options. It's just a lot more user-friendly than simply taking a photo and editing it yourself. I find it superior to even a physical scanner.

This is hands down the BEST "turn your phone into a scanner" app on the market! They have been around for years now, and it's been nice to see that they have been steadily adding features and making improvements over the years. I just saw that they implemented a tagging system, and changed the UI a bit, so Cam Scanner can actually serve as a document repository on your phone. They even clean and straighten the scanned document for you, in case you have shaky hands. It's also super affordable.

This app is ESSENTIAL for my college work. I love this app, hands down it is the best one I have used for sending documents. You can create a PDF using pictures. I am sure that it has many great amenities but that is just one I am familiar with. I also have the option to save it to my phone, my dropbox, send in an email, bluetooth, or messages. With premium you can do alot more like convert it to a Word document but there's enough with the free version for what I need it for. Thank you!!!

You guys are a God sent. I can't tell you how many supposedly great OCR to PDF conversion apps I tried. The more well known, eg Adobe Acrobat, the more miserable and disappointing the results. Adobe, Microsoft, etc with their army of the best programming minds have not been able to effectively cancel out the 'noise' & 'non -text' objects in a doc. I don't know why & I frankly don't care either. I found the perfect match & everything else I've tried is magnitudes inferior. Thank you so much!

This app has been very useful for field salespeople or anybody that needs to quickly scan and upload documents, invoices, contracts, etc. The automatic cropping and upscaling is phenomenal. If I needed to use this more than once every couple months then I would most likely subscribe to them but for now my usage is so minimal. Perfect in a pinch. 100% recommended.

This app has saved me money repeatedly, as I no longer have to pay for a scan, not to mention the time saved by having a scanner in my hand. Although the watermark stating that my document was scanned by CamScanner may be off-putting to some, it seems a small price to pay for a FREE app. I WOULD like to be able to zoom before having to accept the scan [to determine if the scan actually captured the detail(s) I need captured], overall, I will keep using & recommending CamScanner!

In a pinch, this little scanning app hooked me up. Even when not in a pinch, it has proved itself more than reliable. My home scanner crashed and no matter what I did, it would not work. I needed to scan and send a doc immediately. I launched the app and within 30 secs, I had taken a pic of the doc, converted it to pdf, attached to an email, and sent. Highly recommended.

Great functionality, even in the free version. The crop and filter tools are easy and powerful, allowing for crisp, readable documents. Extremely useful. UPDATE: 5 yrs. later, the Pro version is still my go-to scanning app. It is even easier than most hardware/PC scanners. The only thing I see that is not 5 stars is the OCR capability. I still find I need to do more editing here than in some other apps.
