It works, but there are no audio speed limit warnings for fixed cameras making the app almost pointless. It just says the speed cam is approaching and distance. If the speed limit is displayed on screen only this is of no use to me.

Please please provide a way to report potholes and road defects. Can I also request that a future development could include drawing over screen to flash up speed limit changes briefly while used in conjunction with Google maps. Love this app guys works seamlessly with navigation aids.

Dear camsam, please fix the application to use the "Allowed all the time" in Location - App Permissions. It used to work great, now the latest update only allows the app to function well it is in use. If I change to my navigation app, the CamSam app loses GPS position. Switch back to camsam, GPS comes back. I'll update to 5 stars if you fix that.

Works perfectly! Thank goodness it warns 3 times i wish it would warn again right at the camera. I love this app so far its been flawless and works in the background. I wish I knew the difference between the standard version and the plus version.

Great app warns nicely in background with screen off even on extended journeys. Would give 5* if it could be closed automatically on BT disconnection or via intent. Only currnt way I have found to close is via UI and If I forget, keeps moaning about position issues during meetings.

Audio from device doesn't work when bluetooth and Google maps turned on (don't know if it works with other navigations). I always like to have my bluetooth connected with the car in case if someone calls and all the sounds from navigation etc coming out from phone.

Just what I was looking for. TomTom used to do this but stopped. A speed camera warning app without having to use it for navigation. It does seem a little over zealous as warns for cameras that I thought were for traffic monitoring purposes ?(not speed) also warned about cameras no longer there.

Very useful as it announces warnings over any media playing on the phone via a Bluetooth connection. Better than a separate navigator. I use it on the motorcycle via Bluetooth through one earbuds or a magnetic tank speaker. Try it and you will not want to lose it.

Useless if it only sound alerts you when you are near enough sitting under the camera. No setting to change the distance for alerts.

Problem is that it announces radars that are in the opposite direction of the drivers road, would be great if we could find a solution for that, although they sometimes turn the same radar in the opposite direction too

Not missed a beat!!!! Just bought Pro, it just perfectly runs in the background! CamSam is one of those apps that you wonder why you have never found before, and it becomes one of a few essential apps in your collection. I was looking for a speed camera app, after being flashed by a speed camera, and looked at lots of them in Play Store, many of them did not work, or were not suitable, but CamSam actually worked. As I use “Android Auto” in the car, I wanted an additional voice warning when approaching cameras, initially I had a problem, but after a request to the developer, a very fast reply came back, and the initial problem was solved! I will probably purchase the pro version shortly, as it would be nice to have both a voice and visual warning, in addition to the navigation screen with “Android Auto”. Overall, a very well designed and professional looking app, add to that a fast response to a question, you then have an essential app, which in addition keeps you alert to speed cameras.

No good for me. Driving down the A46 it's alerting me for speed cameras that I'm not even passing like those on exits when I'm not taking said exit. Got extremely annoying so disabled it as it was forcing me to slow down to 50 on a 70 straight because I was worried about speed cameras.

constantly loosing signal. Once it looses the signal, does not find position again and needs to be restarted. Excellent reports while position is known. Once this is resolved, I will buy

Very good app, this app work perfectly it says all cameras even in background, but it has also a trick, when the app is on and you receive a call via Sim or WhatsApp, the app work and shows cameras but doesn't make sound, everytime after receiving call, need to close the app and open once again otherwise the app warm in in screen but without sound.
