Here are some of the reasons for this rating: Spent an hour trying to sync to Gcontacts and finally gave up (even signed up for premium). - It is not (apparently) possible to add notes after scanning card. You have to go to Gcontacts (or wherever yo keep all your DB) to add the notes (if and when it does export, which it did not in my case) - It does not communicate with Gcontacts to see if you have contact groupings, so you can assign the scanned contact to the right group. Silly.

Used to be a decent app. Not great. The recognition was never good and I'd always have to correct a ton of things but now it is no longer free and if they want me to still use it and scan more cards I have to pay a subscription. Just moving to a different platform now. I'm not paying for something like this. Disappointed, but definitely not worth any money

Works just well enough to be worth using while making errors on each card. Grabbed the address and missed the city and state right below, suite 150 is suite 15c, spells the website right but the email address right above in the same font is wrong. Of course, there's an option to pay for proofreading, basically someone to double check the picture vs the data, but isn't that what the app is for? It's definitely designed for the upsell, not to be as accurate as possible. That's sad.

CamCard Pro is near-8 yrs in my app loadout. Initial "oops" of the BB10 version being inaccessible to cloud backup has faded somewhat, though it was still 18-odd mths of lost contacts. Very gracious of IntSig to provide me with a free upgrade to Pro version which has since more than made up for that wth 6-odd months, with a seamless restore when transfered to any subsequent device / platform.

I have been using this ap for more than 5 years now, and I didn't mind having to add a subscription due to the significant number of cards scanned. BUT, this latest update has essentially killed the scanner and it NO longer effectively auto fills the data fields so I have to do them all manually. an alternative is to now buy proofreading allowances. I would consider that of most of the cards scanned since the update worked, but NONE of them scanned and form filled. fix this or I'm out.

Love it but Pls revert to previous version because it won't captured pic of entire card anymore. And pls make online pics more clear. Now it often cuts business cards in half. Works best when combined with CamScanner app for better picture results. Doesn't always automatically input contact correctly but easy to correct manually. Big time saver. Easy to search cards and find. Love that it works on computer. But I wish online version pics were as clear as the cell. Scanner isn't as excellent as it was before cause it goes outside the margins. But works perfect when combined with Camscanner. Worked well for years with Samsung Galaxy S3, works ok w Moto G play and ZTE

Used to be the free version let you scan up to a certain amount of cards per month now it wont even let you do that and sync with a google account. The recognition has gotten worse I have found that i have to edit more fields now then i used to. Also, when you edit a contact after saving it duplicates the change as a new contact on your synced account.

Used for years, have hundred of cards added, now worthless, as it forces you to purchase to add any new cards! (no you don't get 100 free cards unless you just start using it.) Watch, they will use the same deaf reply they have used for all the others with the same complaint: "Currently, the free version users can scan up to 100 cards. To scan unlimited cards, you can also purchase CamCard pro". WE KNOW THAT, IT IS OUR COMPLAINT!!! Great customer service...

Been using this for years. It works great! Have had minimal issues with it. The only negative I can think of is the accuracy of it. They sell some kind of proof reading extras, but to me the whole point of this app is to scan cards in, they should strive to be more accurate without paying extra. It's like paying an employee a bonus to go their job better.

Used it occasionally. It was an OK app, used to make lots of mistakes in the information while reading. As it was free, I didn't bother; just corrected the information manually. Then they became greedy and removed the most important feature of syncing with contacts from the free version. Franky speaking this is not as app worth USD 47/year. Plus in covid situation sharing business cards even reduced. Looking for an alternative and will uninstall immediately.

It's a great idea and could be really useful if it accurately captured the data on the business card. But every single cards needs to be edited for accuracy before you save it. I even bought the premium membership to be able to save it to contacts, and I swear that made it worse. And you have to pay extra for proofreading? That's just plain obnoxious. It seems like it might be faster to enter it all manually in to my contacts. Anyway, if they can fix the inaccuracy in the data, it would be useful to have. I wish I hadn't wasted my money on an upgrade to premium.

This app does not scan the card info to my phone's contacts - only to the app. I also found that there were several mistakes that needed correcting: it didn't add the person's name so I had to enter that manually. And the street address and city were incorrect. There was also no field for a web address so I had to create a custom field for that. Biggest issue: it won't save a contact w/out a mobile #, even if there's not one on the card! I had to change 'work' to 'mobile' to save the contact.

This app is well worth it, considering the free option. I don't need a lot and being able to 'scan' (picture of document with camera) any business card, document, certificate... whatever; just a few taps and save! The is also the option to edit at any time. Sometimes I'm in a hurry and only get the scan done, then I go back in later and update all the necessary information. There are a few things that could be better, but it's FREE, so I can't complain. Thank you for making this app available!

This app used to work reasonably well. However, with the last card I scanned and corrected, not so much. It disappeared from the app and was never synced to my contacts. Does the app now require an online account to save contacts? Does android's new poorly implemented remove permissions strike again? If either of these is the problem, there should be some error detection in the app. Either way, if you're going to use this app, regularly double-check the results.

I have used Camcard for about 8 years now. It is so useful. Got the free version then quickly went over my limit. Bought the paid version. Back then I think I paid $2.75 for unlimited cards. The problem I have is that every time I add a new card it ask me to subscribe to a monthly subscription. I paid for unlimited already!! STOP. As for the other reviews saying it doesn't capture the image and correctly file the info into its proper fields...STOP. Not a perfect system. Just review & correct.

I installed this program when it first came out and loved it. I scanned and synced it with Outlook regularly. Then all of a sudden you could no longer sync with Outlook, the message said that capability would be added back in soon. Well months later it was but now you can't sync to Outlook without upgrading to the version that costs $50 a year. This is just aggravating, something I've used for years and now it's useless to me without paying an annual fee. I had recommended this to a lot of people over the years but now I'll have to find something else and hope I can move my info over to it.

Update: right now the app is unreliable. I have tried to open it on three different occasions in a row , and on two of those occasions the app wouldn't open it all. When I am able to rely upon it again I will restore my rating . Old review : I have pretty much moved all of my paper business cards to this app so that I could toss all those cards I held onto. However, if an individual changes his/her actual business card you cannot change the image of the card for that person without deleting the entire card and rescanning in the new card and confirming that all information is correct in the form below. Also, I do not like that the app creates its own note for each card and does not show additional notes that I create for a card without me actually clicking on the card first. I'd like to see my notes before I click on the card, rather than just the date a note was create.

I use this program from very beggining and I gave 5 stars. Scanning and syncing with Outlook regularly. Suddenly you could no longer sync with Outlook, bla-bla message: capability would be added back in soon, but sooner or later new info that now you can't sync to Outlook without paying $50 a year. Outrageously expensive,free for years and now it's useless without paying high annual fee.No further recommendation this to anyone.

I spent countless hours scanning business cards. Had 500 or so scanned. The scanner misreads print regularly, so you have to check over all the details after every scan and frequently make corrections, although this is mainly caused by fancy, scripty fonts. I was pretty happy with the organization of the cards, although there could be some improvements there. I was generally pretty happy with the app UNTIL I opened the app yesterday and all of my cards were gone! I am beyond frustrated!

Was a decent app but always had issues with identifying accurate letters. 95% of time I had to go back and correct or proof read. I had been using it for a while and there were upgrades, but never felt like they were helpful to me. I have accumulated and stored over 430 cards in there and all of a sudden the App is forcing a very expensive subscription. I can't scan any new cards. I have exported the cards into my phones contacts and will look for another business card scanning app.
