It works great for me! It blocks all those pesky robocalls and sends them straight to voicemail and logs them. It will work if you make sure you turn on block all calls except contacts .. otherwise it isn't going to work as some reviews have said.. all in all I'm paying no money and it is filtering my calls tremendously well which is pretty awesome to me!

App used to be great but now glitches in many ways. When I call out to people, it says it's blocking the call. I'm able to still make the call but I get a push notification saying the call was blocked and it couldn't complete the call. Also, if I try to add things to the blacklist with the plus I on and select (from call logs) the whole app crashes and shuts down. It's been going on for about a year. About to uninstall and use another app. Fix it or don't expect people to use it.

I had used a more popular app with some frustration -- when a call was blocked the ring volume was minimized BUT failed to reset after the blocked-call. So, I looked for an alternative thinking it would be less capable. I was happily wrong. This app is GREAT. [Some time later...] When receiving unblocked calls, I sometimes am unable to find ways to pick-up.

Bought a pixel 7 phone and this app no longer works. I am getting all calls now instead of just people in my contacts. The phone blocking works well. Text blocking does not work for me. If someone sends me a picture with the text, I only get the text. If multiple people are on the text, I don't get the text at all. I had to disable the text blocking since I was not getting most of my texts. I had it set to allow contacts only. Very frustrating.

Worked great on my BlackBerry Key One. Then a couple days ago I upgraded to the Google Pixel 4 XL, and now none of my calls are being blocked. My phone will ring with the number not in my contacts, and then I get an error message saying that Calls Blacklist keeps stopping. I'm really disappointed. This application was perfect before, and I always spoke highly of it.

This app is a godsend. I've tried 4 or 5 different call-blocking apps but this is by far the best! Most of the others I've tried will "screen" the calls and tag them as possible spam but still let them through...which isn't really helpful. Even using the free version of this app, I can completely block calls from numbers not in my contacts. It's everything I've been looking for in a call-blocking app, and the price can't be beat :)

Used to be a great app (see below) but it does nothing anymore. Reinstalled it months ago, lost all my blocked numbers, and hasn't blocked anything since. Finally an app that allows you to program "begins with" and actually WORKS! For months I've been getting spam calls with my area code and exchange, but the last four digits are different. So I programmed begins with the first six digits and NO MORE CALLS! HOORAY!

Free. Blocks all numbers not in your contact list, but will send them straight to voicemail, so I can still get messages if it happens to be something important. Will block texts as well, although I dont turn that feature on. One button off and on, so I can switch it off if i am expecting a service call or something to ing from an unknown number. The robot a d sales calls were bot only all day but in the early morning and evenings, which irritated me to no end. Awesome app!!!

The Calls Blacklist app is good for blocking after the fact, especially texts, because you enter the number or text email after it has occurred. However, it's still letting calls through that I've identified as "blacklisted", it just shows them as such. One other drawback, which might be my type of phone is, with texts, I can't receive pictures or group chats using this app. In short, I love it as a spam text blocker and I like having it more than a carrier blocker, such as verizon.

Does what it says it will do. I'm running an older phone with Android 8.1 that doesn't have the option to block unknown callers. This app does a great job of stopping those calls from ringing through and sending them to voicemail. I especially like the ability to look at the log and see only the calls that were blocked. A great app that doesn't pepper you with ads or endless popups to upgrade. Perfect!

Worked great (five stars) until a couple of weeks ago. Seems like it stopped working about the same time as I installed the March 1, 2019 Android 9 security update. It now shows calls in the log that it blocked, but those calls are coming through to my phone. I have the options set to only allow calls from those in my contacts list. I'm hoping there is a fix for this, because it was great before.

So far, it seems to be the best I've used. In 4 days, it has rejected more than a dozen calls not among my contacts while passing through all those who are among my contacts. This replaced the Verizon call filter subscription which was completely ineffective and unreasonably expensive. Unless something happens to change my mind, I will soon get the pro version. I absolutely LOVE this app. Since installing it I have not had ONE irritating phone call. I dont know if it is any better or worse than any other app of this type. I was using the "blocked caller" feature of my phone, but they just called from different numbers. I installed the app, simply blocked all calls from numbers not in my contact list, and voiala ... no more unwanted calls! The phone doesn't even ring! It bothered me at first, but not one has left a message. Problem solved!

Works real simple. Great control over blocked numbers. It's an app though. It has to wait for the call to reach your phone, so it didn't seem to block voicemails. I came back to add though, one of the strongest features of this app is the ability to block by "number begins with" which lets you block entire area codes. This is incredibly useful for blocking those pesky "neighbor spoofing" spam calls, as well as the "danger" area codes from outside the country.

Works as listed. I use the app to only ring my phone when a saved contact calls, eliminating all telemarketers, and all non-approved calls. I wish there was an option to simply 'white-list' all contacts, but it only took me about 10 minutes to check all my hundreds of contacts to the white-list. So much for the FCC's 'Do Not Call' list! This app works, since that list fails! Thank you!!

Update: The app no longer works. The log doesn't even show any received calls. I tried reinstalling but nothing changed. I also tried to contact the developer but no one responded. Original review: Great app. It has screened out tons of spam calls with very few false positives. Tech support and documentation seem to be nonexistent, but once I figured out the tricks I didn't need them.

Finally!!!! A call blocker that works!! I would get calls several times a day from the same area code but never the same number, so blocking the number was useless since they never called from the exact same number. The number would always start the same but it would always be one digit different so the calls would always come through. Not anymore! I was able to block the area code with this app and I can only see if they called from checking the log.

This wasn't a bad app until they went and disabled SMS blocking without telling me. This makes it useless to me. I was strongly considering buying the pro version but then I discovered you have to remake your block lists and set everything back up. Forget that. If I have to start over from scratch I might as well do it with a company that hasn't betrayed my trust.

Great app! Simple to use and blocks all unwanted calls... If they're not on your contact list, their call does not get through... Blocks unwanted messages too! I've used this app for over a year now and have blocked over 100+ unwanted sales and other nuisance calls. By far the easiest and best blocking app. 2/01/2024... UPDATE Love this app. By far the best and easiest to use. I've blocked hundreds of unwanted calls. If the caller is not on my contact list, that call is not getting through.

Dears, You removed the feature of messages blocking without notifying users, the app does not upgrade when I pay for the pro (the PRO version is a completely separate app), and you can't save the blacklist in the old version to load it from the PRO version too (Error saving files appear when saving). Please have a proper transformation mechanism for users. Thanks,
