I loved this recording app. Worked great on my galaxy S9+..finally an app that includes both sides of the conversation ..you can turn off notifications and the annoying icon that says recording disappeared. I purchased the the paid version but after the last uodate on my galaxy S9 the caller ID stopped working with my contacts. this is a big problem, please fix

I actually really love this app and how it works it can record every call coming in or outgoing or you can set it up to only record specific contacts in your phone. then it saves it to the app or you can have it sent to your email. You can share it as well. recently I am having one small problem and I'm hoping to get it fixed so if anyone here knows what's going on I'd love to know. the call sounds very staticky or muffled I've tried turning the volume down are there any other recommendations

(See last edit) I've been using this app for a week (4/23/19), & it's great! Very attractive, good sound both ways, records reliably & has features my former recorder didn't have. I had to get a different app because the other one stopped showing who had called. I have an LG Stylo 4 & a Chuwi Hi9 Pro. 5/24/19 edit: have the paid version now - love it! 9/15/19 edit: showing Walmart ads, won't upload or email. Very disappointed.

I would give this 5 stars, however, there are some annoying features I can't get rid off. After you make a call, a separate window pops up and asks too about the call, and this screen is also where the advertisements are. It's annoying that after every call this pops up and I have to manually take another step to make it go away. If there is a setting to turn this of, I'd give it a 5 star review.

This app records your own conversation by default speaker OFF for privacy reasons, easily allow or block REC calls from unknown or contacts for personal or security use. You can "shake auto REC or auto set" to REC all conversations. The software runs with your phone app so you would have to clear cache files every time the app is used. Conversations aren't thoroughly recorded on both parties, speaker must be enabled. Subscribe to remove adds, ect. Files supports SD cards.

This is *exactly* what I needed to record EVERY phone call over the last 13 months. They are stored on the phone (but the biggest 'negative' is that I can't find a way to make the storage unlimited?), and also immediately put in a secure online storage account. Unbelievably, this was critical, as I have had 5, yes, *FIVE*, cellphones shut down in one year! I have never needed something like this, but a horrifying & unwanted long-term 'legal battle' necessitated keeping all this data. There are a few teeny little things I would like changed. These probably could be done in the settings & I don't know how, or literally haven't dared change anything. For the extremely low one-time cost, if you want ANY of your calls recorded (you can set it to only specifically record certain numbers), I HIGHLY recommend this app. Thank you, callX crew! You literally helped, without knowing, in finally returning MY LIFE last week!

Quality of sound 1/5. Ability to customize 4/5. Ease of use 4/5. Reliability 0/5. Overall 2/5. Missed an extremely important phone call because one day the app decided to stop recording audio. It still recorded when calls were and the numbers. However, no audio came through about one month after use. I'll be uninstalling soon as there's no indication of why this happened or how to fix it.

Old version worked great on my old Galaxy S3. Finally upgraded to the Note 9 & the old version didnt work properly on it. So, I updated the app. Turns out it's got the same problems(useless filter & STUPID file naming scheme: day, then month, then year) but NOW it fails to put calls w/ the #s, & the files it's creating are completely silent!!(whether it's set to Voice_Communication or Voice_Call[& other 2 options r pointless for call recording]) YUP! COMPLETELY WORTHLESS APP now. Bummer. :/

Best call recorder. I've tried many other call recorders, some didn't record at all, some were barely audible with a lot of static and backround noise. But this app records calls crisp and clear and at the perfect volume so you can comfortably listen to your recordings without having to crank up the volume or turn it down to listen.

Not impressed with this app at all. Can't here the other person at all ever, Not even a murmer. You can sometimes hear what I said, but I already knew what i said. The rest of the time is just inaudible sounds that measure up to nothing. I'd recommend moving along to the next choice honestly. caller id has never worked, just private caller, and it sends you to an obnoxious screen after every call! And I do have the premium version of this app.

Good quality app, records both sides of conversation even with use of headphones during call. But the fast forward and reverse buttons don't work for me during playback, for some reason. Also, the sound quality is great for my end but a bit rough sounding from the other side. I still give 5 stars though as overall it is a great app.

I am very glad that you created this program. However, to select contacts that i do not want to record, takes way to long to complete. Not to mention there are several duplicated numbers on the list. Maybe a select all button to turn off the request for recording wiuld be easier. or that option pops up when the calls comes through, or the call has been made by me

Used to work. Now it does not display caller name or number, so at the end of the day I would have to listen through several recorded messages to look for the ones I need to move to another device. Even in the favourites folder I've found no way to differentiate calls. Time stamp doesn't work. Can't place visible notes on records. Caller ID not working. Fails to show caller number. Length of call fails to show. I used to love this app and used it daily. Not now. Samsung S10+ TAL

I just have to say that this app has already blown me away and I've only just barely used it for my first phone call. I can't tell you how many applications I've downloaded and tried only to have subpar results. Either the microphone wasn't clear, it didn't record the other side, it always had to be on speakerphone, none of them hold a candle to this app. Download it you won't regret it!

Features are okay, sometimes playback audio is terrible. But the main reason I'm giving a bad review is 1) I purchased the upgrade to Premium so I wouldn't have to deal with the literally pornographic ads that periodically pop on the screen (and no, I don't have a habit of searching for porn on Google or Facebook); my app now says Premium, but the ads are still there. 2) I have been patient and tried to contact devs by various emails to resolve, months now & still no response at all.

Update:I Don't know what you did to this app but it's HORRIBLE now! It records when it feels like it! Missed VERY Important calls that the app did not record! And I've been using this app for years.. so YES.. I'm familiar with how it works. I tried reinstalling & still sucks! Great app to have! I don’t like this new update that now shows CallX is recording my call while im on the call! I liked when it was more Discreet. If you remove this new Unwanted feature I would give a 5 star rating.

Nope. Installed on Google Pixel 3a. Made several unsuccessful attempts to make this work. First time, rang thru and then dropped the call. Second time, recorded dead air. Third time, after messing with some settings, recorded the call with the handset. Person on other end was hard to hear. Then when I attempted to look at the app while talking on the phone, proceed to record dead air. Last attempt to record the call with a headphones...dead air. Not reliable.

update: Will edit whren able. DOESN'T RECORD- incoming or outgoing calls. IT USED TO WORK so well. Then, abruptly STOPPED. . And nary a word from Developers. IMHO They should've stated the issue, neg. affect functionality of product. and if have a solution. Instead, continuing to offer free & paid versions of its product "CALL RECORDER". Product name and associated information about its capabilities are MISLEADING, FALSE. IT DOESN'T RECORD CALLS! the ads are loud,intrusive &play 60sec+

So far, the app seems to be working as it should after I changed the audio source from voice communication to mic. By default, voice communication is selected, which only recorded my voice with interference without the other person's voice. After I switched it to mic, it worked great with clear audio on both ends. So I gave it 4 stars for now until otherwise. I like that after each call, it gives you the option to listen to it or delete it. However, recordings are all labeled private.

I gave this app a 1-star because it stops working all the time. I recently noticed that it works again if you restart your phone, and when it does work, it's great. So now it gets 3 stars. I'll give it 5 stars when it starts working all the time, the way any app should work after I've PAID MONEY FOR IT. *Edit 6.5.24 -dropping back down to 1 star bc the recordings are now completely useless. You cannot hear the caller whatsoever - even on speaker- and my voice is totally blown out and distorted.
