This app used to work perfectly but after an update a few months ago it barely records your own voice it doesn't capture the other party, and when it says it's recorded it lists every call as private caller and plays silence you may hear 1 or 2 words of your own voice. The app needs to be rolled back to how it was last year before the update when it was PERFECTLY RECORDING, CORRECTLY LABELED AND EVERY THING WAS IN SYNC.

Both my husband and I have this app. It worked great - until recently. The app use to work flawlessly. As soon as you started your call - it would start recording. Plus, in your list of recordings - it would list the contact the recording was wit. Now they all say private for every call, so you have to sort through all your recordings in order to get to the recording you need. Now, unfortunately, this app has stopped recording the audio for all calls - even though I have the speaker on.

My sole complaint is that it only records well when speaker phone is activated. Otherwise the person I'm speaking to is barely audible. They can usually still be made out by good ears, though, or by plugging into a speaker and cranking (making my own voice sound deafening). It's convenient to set it to automatic, then go through and delete unneeded calls once a week or so.

UPDATE: Effective February 26, 2020, this app now requires you to place your private calls on speaker to record both parties. In addition, all calls are labeled as private. This is unacceptable and ridiculous. No on needs to listen to my conversations but me. The old version was best since privacy issues wasn't a problem. UPDATE: effective June 2018, the playback is clear. I need more storage. The play backs don't work.

I don't use my phone for calls a great deal, so I have been able to delete unneeded recordings and not have to upgrade. It records my calls automatically. I don't think I will ever need the recordings, but gives me peace of mind. It has been easy for me to see when calls were, if incoming or outgoing, and phone number or name(if it is one of my contacts.) I don't have caller id, so I am not sure if it will show names, using that method.

Moderately good OS interaction, VERY poor end-user experience. As others have noted, sometimes audio does not record from both ends of the phone call. Plus, the app doesn't reveal that there is a hidden maximum storage space capacity (at which point you're told you must upgrade), nor how it identifies unknown calls. Worst of all, the most recent update has introduced unskippable ads to almost every phase of use! Ads after loading, ads between recording reviews, ads on every screen! 👎👎👎

I am using the premium version and it works as described. Love being able to record only my outgoing, incoming or both types of calls. I would give it a 5 for a short cut that allows me to record on an incoming call on demand. I keep my settings to record outgoing only, but there are times when I need to record information that I can't write down at the moment. Thanks for creating an almost perfect way to record call so inexpensively!

I'm very frustrated with this app sometimes it works for outgoing and incoming calls and then it doesn't. I can't hear the sound and right now, it's not recording incoming calls or even show I had call. I'm using the free version does that make a difference? It never did in 2020. I have Android 11 version. Is there any settings on my phone that I got to change in accessibility, install apps, call recorder "ON" I also have the speaker on when I'm making a call or receiving a call and nothing!!!

Horrible. It doesn't work at all. It's just blank. I've tried putting the speaker on turn the speaker off I've tried everything and I have all permissions authorized. It just doesn't work. And the ads are crazy. Like every time you want to back out of the screen there's a loud annoying add. Very unpleasant experience. Which is sad because I would have paid for the year if it was good.

Has not been recording any phone calls since Dec 29, 2019. Also all phone calls pop up as "private number." I paid to have premium version, so I am highly disappointed Edit to add: this app needs special permission to have full access to your phone including recording your screen in order to record. I find this to be an invasion of privacy for an app that only handles phone calls. Uninstalled.

I got this app to be able to record calls from not only other companies but to record business calls I make and receive and it worked great and now all the sudden it doesn't record any of the phone calls just background noise making it completely useless now. The only thing good I can say about this app was when it was working the way its suppose to I got a few recordings with my husband who recently passed away. Thankfully those calls where made when the app was on my old phone.

It stinks to have this type of tool without the use of the whole basis of its name. CALLL RECORDER. I see the red tape. It still is not handy if it wont actually tape calls. Not even on speakerphone. How dissapointing. Otherwise the features are awesome and the everything else is top notch. Good luck. Thank you kindly.

I downloaded this app after reading some of the reviews saying it worked great. Well I downloaded and tried it out. I made a phone call and after hanging up the notification popped up saying one new call has been recorded. So I then opened the app to play back the recording and there was nothing there! So it will notify you saying your call has been recorded but when u go to listen to it the recording is not there! I tried everything and still app does not work!! Very disappointing!!

So far so good, did a test call to be sure it works.. Seems to work and had a good interface. A little expensive for the ad free version, but with the experience I've had in previous apps, if it truly is "ad free", it'll be worth the price. Be warned, they are video ads so limited data users may find an issue with this on the free version. Will rate higher/lower after a bit of use. UPDATE: Absolute GARBAGE app. When I needed this app the most, it recorded only my side. Trash app. Don't waste your time, will be very disappointed!

a handy dandy little app. no fuss call recordings of both voices with ease. every now and then, if a call is too short (like goes straight to voicemail) the recorder will start but wont shut off and you end up with a recording of 5 hours worth of silence. also, remember if you turn it off to turn the recorder back on...i thought it had been on for a whole month, until i went to playback a call and it wasnt there because i had turned it off previously and forgot to turn it back on.

Worked for awhile, but then started to fail recording dialogue of other party. Made attempts to notify creator of app with no success. If they correct problems with app, I'll change my status of app. Don't use right now, waste of time & money (two years of problem), which I had gone for the upgrade. That's when it failed. It's a real disappointment! I feel like a sucker, hope I helped in your decision.

It's nice so far. However, there's REALLY loud ads that pop up causing much disturbance and annoyance ESPECIALLY, while trying access the app or edit the contents of recording. UPDATE: Since they've updated this app, I can no longer see ANY of the phone numbers (ALL say private). Also, some call that were imperative to record were not recorded. Now, you must make sure your phone's on speaker if you need to hear the other caller during playback Still a lot of ads Searching for another app

NO AUDIO! I have been paying for this app since December and cannot access the audio for any of these phone calls. I can see that the phone calls have been recorded but when I try to listen to the recording - THERE IS NO SOUND!!!!! What a complete ripoff! How can they still be charging people for this app when it does not work. I see the reviews and everyone's having the same problem. They should be ashamed of themselves.

So I'm able to record the call (As long as you put it on speaker) but once I'm done recording a call and go to listen to it THERE'S NO SOUND!!!!! Its actually really frustrating especially when I was trying to record a very important phone call and it shows that it recorded the entire time even when I press play it shows it's playing the recording BUT NO SOUND LIKE WHYYYY ...?

Within 5 minutes of me making a call, I knew this app was garbage. At first, it didn't even record my phone call, but it did, but with no sound! Then it stated that I had to be on speaker phone, so I tried it and the call was muffled and distorted. I immediately cancelled the app and deleted from my phone. I have yet to receive a refund and that was several days ago. DO NOT USE THIS APP!!
