You can see possible IV even before catching a monster. Additionally, Calcy IV automatically generates nicknames in every possible format and assembles your perfect battle teams for Raids.

Calcy IV only relies on screenshots and needs no login. It can be used offline and is very battery-friendly. There is no need to leave the game while using Calcy IV.

** Overview & IV **
Every monster has hidden stats - the Individual Values (IV). They can be seen in the appraisal of your team leader and determine how strong a monster can get in terms of CP or when fighting other players.
Without needing any setup or any clicks, Calcy IV adds a little overlay while you play the game that perfectly integrates in it and helps you to decide which monster you want to invest stardust and candy in. With this app, you can see the IV range before you even caught the monster. Additionally, you can add several stats like DPS or PvP Ranks to the output that you otherwise would not see in the game.
When you see a good monster, you can tap the overlay to see its full stats, including DPS, the cost to level it up, and many more.
Are you a raider, a PvP player, a collector, or do you want to know just *everything* about a monster? Whatever your goals, you can set up Calcy IV completely to your needs.
** Trainer Battles / PvP **
Whether you are a PvP veteran or you want to start diving into the battles with other trainers, Calcy helps you finding the right monster for it.
In fights against other players all attacks deal different damage then usually. Calcy calculates the damage per turn accordingly in these fights.
Moreover, due to the CP limit for PvP leagues, the optimal IV for PvP fights are very specific combinations that may be hard to find. Calcy calculates these optimal IV and tells you for every monster how close it is to perfection (the so called "PvP Rank" or "PvP IV").
** Battle Simulation & Raid Counters **
Calcy's battle simulator will calculate the perfect battle team from all of your monsters for every raid. It is accessible by simply scanning a raid boss or pressing the overlay button a bit longer and then tapping the green raid boss symbol.
Calcy not only shows you how to beat the boss but also exactly how much damage you do. This allows you to decide whether you may need 2, 3 or 4 people for this raid. Of course, this calculation takes the different moves, weather and friendship buffs into account.
You can easily find the recommendations directly in the game with the help of a generated search string.

** Renaming **
Calcy automatically generates a nickname based on many adjustable blocks (containing e.g. IV, move types, DPS, and PvP stats) and copies it to your clipboard. Then you can easily insert it in the game.

Last couple of updates seem to auto close when you click the button then switching back to the game the whole game has to reload. only works about 20% of the time now (previously 99%). please fix! Edit:. thanks for replying. ive done all that and removed recent new apps and checked RAM while using it. I've sent you an email with logs. Edit: less frequent now and i can see the same problem with a similar app - not sure why essential phone doesnt have enough memory for both

This app was really truly great, to the point I bought a premium upgrade because I thought it was worth giving to the devs (& I still do!) and I still enjoy using the app! The issue I'm having with it now is that Calcy will just crash and the button will disappear off my screen after I try and scan more than 3-4 "Monsters" (😉), which has become increasingly frustrating with the bug going on where if you leave Pokemon Go for a second to check another app, it crashes as well :)

Great app, but the new output look when showing pvp rankings and stats is annoying. It is confusing to read, and unclear. May I have an explanation for the change in design? The old output seemed perfect to me. It was simple, showing the IV ranking and level clearly. Settings appear to be the problem. Turning off PvP stat product value in detailed output settings made it much less confusing, but still a bit more complex than the old layout.

I like this app, and it has a lot of customization options. But it's constantly crashing on loading, usually during community days and spotlight hours. Sometimes it just fails to load the ad and crashes nonstop. I've tried uninstalling, resinstalling, restarting my phone. It's a new Galaxy S21 Ultra too. Wish I could rate it higher but it's not dependable.

Great app. I like that the raid boss feature is also incorporated. I wish that it could be accessed from within the app and not just through the button. it would be nice to see how my Pokémon would do with different move sets as well. I do not always agree with the suggestions but they are OK. After several scans my phone starts to slow. I am however running a galaxy s5.

The app was working well for awhile. But in recent months. The app crashes a lot. I could be doing a scan or just catching something and out of no where it will show a symbol at the top like a heart monitor type symbol. Less than a minute later, it will kick me out of the game to the main screen of this app. Does it many times when trying to use the app. Have deleted and reinstalled multiple times. Still same thing.

edit 2: figured out a reset procedure that worked, happy again despite the occasional freeze. Edit: An overlay issue has occured on my OnePlus 6T, where calcy has made a black screen issue. Problem is, I can't soft or hard reset given I only have three physical buttons and an inaccessible battery. As of now, I am locked out of my phone. Trying to fix my phone. Original: The app is great once you understand it, but I'm currently dealing with an effective soft brick at the moment.

I love Calcy but it's not working well with my new phone, a OnePlus 6T. Calcy crashes and the button disappears at least 15x a day, and often when I click on the button to rate a Pokemon, it freezes my phone with no choice to reboot the whole phone. This has been happening ~5 times a day. Terrible! This doesn't happen with my work phone, that one is still performing fine with the same version of Calcy. Please fix it!

update: there no longer appears to be a date leak issue. I really appreciate the quick support that was offered for my issue. previous: This is a great app! I use it constantly to check my mons. That being said, it seems to have a data leak issue. I left it open all night by accident, and it used 1.4 gb of mobile data. That sucked. Be sure to close out when not in use.

Update: Calcy is amazing. And so is the dev team. When I was having data usage issues they responded quickly, were extremely nice and cooperative, and then worked tirelessly to fix it. It turned out to be an issue with an ad provider, and they switched to fix the issue. A++. Quickly gives you the info you need about the Pokémon? Copies a name to the clipboard so you can quickly rename them with their stats? Protects our world from devastation? Well, 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

I don't know what happened, this used to be a great app. Now after this latest update it just goes to a black screen and when it does work, it constantly crashes out. I have a Galaxy S5 active, Pokémon go runs perfectly on it. This app needs fixing. Edit; it is not a bug with the game. It's a bug with your app and compatibility with the latest update. I haven't had this problem ever before. I can get it working if I manually switch to POGO, but if I try to switch back to Calcy IV to get more detailed information, then try to switch back manually to POGO... black screen again.

Prior issues with Premium resolved. Used to work quite well. Now crashes, and will randomly force PokemonGo closed in order to reload itself. This makes it unusable while actually out playing, as it will crash during raids and force you out of the game to reload. So its tolerable when you set aside time to do it. Also once it starts this crash/forced-reload, it does it every few scans after. Becomes tedious and requires fully reloading both, just to start doing it again after a few minutes.

Overall the app is good. Gets me the information I need. Since the last update the app has been "crashing." When I say that I mean the app is still running, but the icon leaves my screen and won't come back until I force close it and restart the app. Pretty annoying when you're mass checking 'mons. Also annoying when it causes PGO to restart from minimizing the app.

App works wonderfully and is also well maintained, which can be tricky when Niantic keeps tweaking the way the game displays. For example, Niantic ran an update that altered the visual layout for levels, I sent an email describing the problem, and 2 hours later it was fixed. Now, surely I wasn't the first to notice the issue, but, still, downtime on this app is really minimal, and it works like a charm

This app now contains very intrusive ads. The ads are deceptive, with the option to close moving position to trick you into clicking. There are even 30 second long video ads that play. when you open the app. Edit: Ads now appear after unlocking my phone without the Calcy IV app running. Edit: I switched to the banner ads as suggested. This way is much less intrusive. The ads that were present after unlocking my phone (which I am positive was from Calcy IV) are also gone.

1/08/18 New encounter scan looks at the color and motion of the moving target circle to estimate the IV before you throw. So far I'm amazed at the level of accuracy. Apple fans, it is worth buying a cheap Android to try Calcy IV. 7/31/18 Crash bug is already fixed. Fantastic support. Saves so much time. The renaming feature is easy to use and highly customizable. It takes some tinkering at first, but once you get it set up the way you want it your life will be so much easier. I wish the explanations of the various renaming blocks were more detailed.

Recent full screen ads at startup are obnoxious and a massive security risk. I accept a free app has ads, but these take over the screen with no indicator of how long they will persist and no clear way to dismiss them. The last one popped up several buttons that looked like skip buttons but just directed me to download pages. This is bad and it makes the app not worth using anymore.

It's ok but needs improvement. Autoscan appears to not be adjustable for tall screen resolution which puts the IV checker on the left right over the appraisal section and all my custom tags. Works great on Pixel 7 Pro but works terrible on OnePlus 8 Pro. The screen recording on the Pixel 7 Pro makes the game terribly laggy. The app also uses a tremendous amount of battery life.

CalcyIV is an extremely powerful & flexible tool. It can be quirky/frustrating at times. and there are things it doesn't do that I wish it did. As a newer GO player, I wished some of the stats it provides were better documented. But what it can do is very valuable, and the devs have made many significant improvements over time. I couldn't GO without it!

100% fantastic app, I use it every time I play. Really helpful to quickly decide if you wanna catch something, or if you're like me and bad at telling what the exact values in the appraisal screen are. Also good way to easily see if you have a chance in a raid and what team is optimal. One issue: doesn't scan megas anymore due to PoGo moving things around.
