Update 2 my review. I do love the app but its hard to figure things out like y are only some contacts i moved to the vault private but others still show up in the new text app. Plus they make u download a message app and make u set it as ur default message, when you try to move messages to the vault it only shows u the 1s from the original message app doesnt let you pick the messages from the app they forced you to download and set as default message.I need help how do i contact someone.

*new version available ** Been using this app for like three years on and off.. it works exactly like it says yes sometimes there are little glitches but I'm willing to bet 95% don't realize this is an outdated at this tim also people got to give the developers a break, it's a miracle that it works so well on such a diverse ranger phones that it does, but some people got to complain.. mind you this app is FREE... I do try to pay the yearly fee for the premium but only to support the developer..

works very very effectively. Be careful not to hide the app too much, some settings will make it very difficult to access, even for you. if you need that, fine: but for me, it works perfect as a fully functioning calculator that thoroughly hides sensitive communications.

everything about the app is nice. only one thing I don't like is once you make a call. if there is no answer. the app continues to call that number by itself. the only way to stop it is for that number to block calls from you. which means you can only text. should be fixed. Also is there a way to fix the double texting? sending the same text numerous times. if these things can be fixed I'd be glad to give 5 stars.

This app has suddenly stopped working properly. 1. It does not allow you to send free sms from 5g phones even after downloading AdvanceSMS. I have mailed and marked previous reviews as well, but no-one responds. 2. All of a sudden, while in a chat the dates change. It shows the next day of the calendar even for chats sent before 12:00am at night. 3. Some msgs go to the main text box of the phone even though default messaging app is set as AdvanceSMS. Please look into this as soon as possible.

In my case, this app is very good... but I would like to advise you to add an adjustment to hide phone numbers when calling or being called by the number that I have linked to this secret messaging app. that's all, thank you

Working great! Single most reason why I'll never get an iPhone. I have used this app for YEARS, and have recommended this app over 100x. I had an issue and support was able to set me str8, I can't be mad at that. Great job, guys!

I love this app. But calls still show up in my phone call log. Which is no big deal. However, most pictures you send, just shows up as an Icon. Also you can't receive messages on a smart watch. Hopefully soon you will add it to Samsung play store.

The app does not allow to send video or reply to pic in the chat. it would nice if these features are added.

The Application is so good but one major issue have I am noticing is that when a number is entered into private database it works fine until the phone is restarted then it stops working and the old messages are private, but the messages that come after to restarted are shown in the normal inbox, which is the biggest mistake of this application, if this problem fixed, and change the icon to prettyish so this application will go a long way

I didn't like it because I had to change my default messaging service for this to work which defeats the purpose! Uninstalled it...Reinstalled it because all the other apps require me to do the same thing. I like how this free app works. Occassionally, it won't let me send a message and saves it as a draft and I haven't been able to find the draft folder yet but other than that, it's pretty user friendly!

Paid for the advanced version to get rid of adds, but nothing changed but my back account balance. What the heck!? Also, when trying to add my number to get unlimited free messages, the verification text never arrives, so I can't do it! App works well overall, but lost money and wasted time trying to very myself make it frustrating to use.

*Do not use* I repeat, do not use this app. You will lose all your messages, images, everything, once you transfer the contact into their app. Then afterwards you will not have access to open the app because once you try to open it, it will only bring you to the "settings" the screen to put your code in is gone. Your only options will be to uninstall or force close. I pray I help someone with this. Biggest ####ING mistakes I've made !!!!!

It doesnt work like it should. All of a sudden, all my messages are going to my regular inbox and not the app. Ive emailed them numerous times and the problem remains. Its one problem after another with this app. UPDATE: They fixed the above problem. However, theres a new problem. Calls from my hidden contacts go to my regular call log. Also, IT RINGS. It rings twice, then stops. When I go to the call log, there's the name and phone number of my hidden contact, defeating the purpose of the app.
