6/25/25: still works great!! 7/13/24: Still loving & using this app for my calculator. Just wish I could get rid of the ads!! 3/6/16: I like that the app allows you to see what you input in case you make a mistake. That saves you from having to restart your calculations all over again. Great app!

I've tried almost 100 of Calculators on Play Store, but nothing beats Calcu. This is the best calculator so far. Kudos to the team.

been using this for years. It is the only calculator app I use. beautiful and functional. BUT I just found that it tracks a bunch of data on your phone that it absolutely shouldn't.

I've been using this app for years it's cool and really nice! I love it. One suggestion: it would be great if the cancel button could be swapped with the clear button, as I often mistake one for the other.

I love this calculator. It's clean and simple, and similar to the one I used to use from Google before they changed it a few years ago. I've been using this ever since.

Easier to use than my beloved Texas Instruments scientific college calculator, back in the 80's! Portrait mode displays a simplistic every day version, then rotate to landscape & get all the advanced features you want or need. Fast, easy to read & follow along. Definitely my "keeper" - highly recommended! Update after using 5 yrs+ : YES, STILL one of my most used apps! (Texting & YT are the top 2 most used)

This used to be a good app years ago but now it's terrible particularly after the most recent update. The custom themes that drew me in are gone, and now there are very invasive drop shipper ads that pop up whenever you try to navigate within the app. And after reading around evidently they steal your data to sell off as well. It's really a shame when developers turn something good into something mediocre that functions terribly. Now that I left this review I'm immediately uninstalling this app.

I enjoy this calculator and its great wallpapers so much that when I had to get a new phone and could not download my old settings, I searched and searched to find & install this particular one. Nothing else would do. I just use it for basic calculations, but it's fine for that, and it makes me smile.

Yet another app ruined by full page ads. This was my go-to calculator. Simple, visually easy to see, a few themes, etc. Great to use across all my devices. Now you get bombarded my full page ads, some of them timed and some have to be closed twice. Why does a basic calculator app need this?? Banner ads were fine, they didn't bother me because they weren't intrusive.

The best calculator layout I've seen for Android. All of the regular functions are close at hand, and there is no practical limit to digit count in calculations. The only two things I have a minor gripe with are how often the settings screen swipes up when I'm doing calculations, my finger moving just minutely enough to trigger the action, and the fact that there's no way to back up my settings. It pretty easy to set the calculator up the way I like, but a quick backup and restore would be nice.

This used to be an app I used multiple times a day. Now it is unusable and one of the features I used, the ability to add custom buttons is now gone. Also $25 is WAY too much for no adds for life. I loved this app, and would gladly pay $5 to remove ads for life but $25 is again way too much. I'll find another app. The built in one now has history so one huge benefit this one had is gone.

The ads on this one were not something I wanted to deal with so I paid to remove them. I love that it has a dark mode - everything on my phone is dark mode. You can adjust thin, normal, bold, or auto font but cannot adjust the size. I wanted it smaller. The trigonometric often showed up in the middle of calculating just adding and subtracting. I never figured out why. Please add a feature to turn off trigonometric altogether. Otherwise it's a great app.

App is solid as it usually has been for me over the years. However, a recent update is now asking for a $12 annual or a $25 one-time purchase for "Premium"? Problem is, I paid $2 for Premium back in 2019 when it just removed ads. There appears to be no honoring of automatic grandfathering. Anyone else who paid for previous versions should potentially be aware of this, and the developer should make a note of doing right by their legacy customers by not moving the goal post for what "Premium" is.

Great, simple calculator app! I really like having memory keys and the ability to view a history of my previous calculations. I'm just using a plain black background, but some folks may like the extra background choices available. It was well worth the small upgrade price to get rid of the ads; they seem to be the main thing that other reviewers have complained about. Personally, I have zero tolerance for ads so I'm always willing to pay to remove them if the price isn't ridiculous.

Used this for years without getting interrupted with excessive pop up ads. Now I open the app and can't even type in 3 numbers without an ad popping up. I wait, continue with calculating and 30 secs later... there's another ad. Un-installing, unfortunately. Isn't worth the frustration. I'll just go buy a physical calculator from the dollar store.

Nice, clear, simple and easy to use calculator. A plus that it actually "remembers" any total balance etc., you may want to leave on the screen and return later. Many calculators here can't or don't offer that. For me, a big deal. In addition to THAT, as I had mentioned earlier, it's simple, yet fully functional. If you're looking for a more math detailed specific calculator, then look elsewhere. But for those of who want easy full function along with some nice style, then this fits the bill.

I didn't know this was even possible, but this app will now TAKE OVER your phone with a full screen ad when you are NOT using the app. I've been trying to figure this out for a while, but about once or twice per day a full screen ad will take control of my entire screen with no "X" or simple way to close the ad. This entire time I thought I had been accidentally clicking ads in apps, but no! It's been CALCU! Horrible tactic!!! I've had a 5 star review here for 5 years. Not anymore.
