Worked for a bit but now won't even load. Waste of time. It is important to note this is an on going project. The creator is versatile and well made. Easy to use and intuitive. It is unfortunate that it is very slow, it takes a very long time to load maps, change scale, move and add tiles. Exporting and downloading a created map is painfully slow and often accompanied by multiple crashes necessitating a laborious reload and try again sequence.

I can't rave enough. Absolutely love this app. Heaps of tiles and options with more on the way. My son loves making his own maps and learning to DM, by running games with me through the game feature. Makes it so easy to not have to get out maps and miniatures. Just dice and our tablets! Player only option is fantastic for tables who get together for regular sessions, and everyone has control of their character tokens in real time, while GM can edit the map in real time as well, meaning cave ins, secret doors, flooding etc is easily visible without grabbing a whiteboard marker and drawing a rough circle. Highly, highly recommended!!

I happy to be involved with this program and I'm looking forward to playing with it and as it develops. The devs have answered every question and have been available to fix any issues I've had. I have the full membership and I look forward to more updates for fog of war, opaque doors and walls and line of sight. This is an invaluable tool in our crazy times. I host the game on the calamus, and video call the PCs. Perfect to have the map interactive remotely. Thanks guys!

I was hoping for a nice tutorial on how I could make maps for gaming, but instead, I am confronted with a message saying it is a 7 day free trial. Then, in no way are you given a tutorial on how to create any maps. This is false advertising as it was labeled as being a free app. I am uninstalling the app now.

Thank you so much for the update! We've been able to play with multiple tokens with no issues now. I really appreciate your team taking the time to listen to us and put our suggestions into action. I absolutely love this app. It gives our DM everything he needs to play an encounter. I have also had a hard time finding anything even close to what this app can do. This app deserves 5 stars and a recommendation to everyone. BEST EVER!

Love the work and app however having issues. No FOW. No options to turn it on. And playstore tells me no update. Help me fix this and ill redo ratings to 5star. Also app keeps desyncing me and losing connection. Like every 4 minutes. Samsung s20+. Add bonus, develop are fairly quick to assist with problems.

Cool, useful, takes some getting used to, would rate higher but feel like the subscription is a bit much(not that the cost is too high) just not useable without a recurring payment after 7 days? Seems not cool to me. Update: provided the feedback from the developers is true and accurate I will update to 5stars and may even add my own subscription in the future. That's how I operate, treat us fair and we treat you fair.

Worked fine for my week free trial. Literally just bought the subscription today and now its freezing on me everytime i go to delete anything. If it did not do that it would 5 stars all the way Edit: they contacted me right away and fixed the issue. Definitely keeping this subscription for my dnd group. Awesome company and very detailed maps

The log-in experience is a nightmare. The stupid symbol thing isnt cute or stylish, its just standing between me and my account that I've paid a subscription fee for. Just use a password and link to a Google account like every other app, dont try and get creative when it comes to user security. Update: The account process is far too buggy and complicated. I cancelled my subscription and requested a refund through Google Play.

A great app for mapping for D&D and other fantasy RPGs. I have been an alpha tester for some time and can attest to the quality of work and dedication of the design team to continually innovate and quickly solve issues that have come up through development. I have no reason to think this will not continue through this release. I've used other desktop mapping programs and tried some apps, but this one is the easiest to use and offers truly device agnostic sharing of maps. Worth your time.

The UI is easy to use, and well put together. The map components look amazing and feel like a real map not a cluster of busy renderings like other map making software. I like the connectivity, and being able to sync multiple devices. I like cross platform connectivity also. You can make your maps as simple as you like, or you can build a city and all the surrounding country side. The subscription price is easy to swallow and feels very reasonable. I love this app. Must have!!

Okay, here goes. You get one star for not immediately asking me for a rating. I hate apps that do that. Another for decent customization content. The third for ease of use. You're missing the other two because 1, if the app isn't free at all, it shouldn't be free on the play store. I searched "free ttrpg map makers", this shouldn't have been the top result. 2, saving the map should be one-tap. I shouldn't have to open another app and then SEND IT TO MYSELF to save the picture to my phone.

The UI is terrible, the tools are a pain to find and use, I couldn't even tell what this app was for until I got an email asking me to subscribe (classic scenario where I downloaded it along with a few other apps of it's sort, and forgot a few days later.) Don't waste your time, if you're okay with paying for a mapping tool, get Illwinter's Floorplan Generator on steam. Best mapping software I've tried. For free maps that are roll20 compatible, go to Dungen.app the maps are basic but good.

The app is great but it freezes often making it hard to use. The ability to export a copy of the map as a image that could then be printed or attached to my notes would be super helpful. I would also like to see countertops for use in Taverns and shops. With this being such a new app it has a lot of potential for future greatness.

This is what I need for work/travel! The only downside currently is the lack of tiles, ground tiles such as snow, pine trees, shaded ground tiles etc for all seasons or time of day. You can use different colored maps to simulate different ground tiles but more seasonal and time of day tiles among others would help with the cost of the app. Otherwise, an ok addition to optionally have in a DMs tool box

This is a fantastic map building app! I'm so pleasantly surprised, it has everything that I want as a graphic designer. The click and drop options make map building feel like playing with Legos. There are so many options not just the map skin (floor, grass, water) but also for the icons found IN the map (fireplace, sailboat, altar). The team does regular updates, with new graphics options and new play experiences. Play with your friends real time in the map, and talk in chat simultaneously.

I love how the app allows you to make your own maps, it's helpful when trying to create a map for roleplaying and other things. I only have one problem with the app, you can't move the map up floors. So you can't have multi-story buildings, which makes things a little irritating because a castle isn't really a castle if it's just one floor.

Hey this is really good! Easy to use on a phone, and I imagine it would be amazing in a tablet! Randomly decorating the rooms I places with appropriate features was an unexpected surprise, and being able to cycle through/manually place them was over the top. My subscription budget is spoken for, alas! But keep it up! It's awesome!

Question: For the subscription, does it charge you automatically once your free trial is over or do you have to manually subscribe (because if it automatically charges you, I feel like you should put something kind of warning)? Also, some feedback is the font choice since I find it difficult to read it on mobile (because of both the font size and the actual font), but besides that, I think it's an interesting app Edit: Ok thanks :)

Desync is terrible, and as of now, I've lost access to the premium subscription content that I pay for. I thought my subscription ran out, tried to refresh it, but Google Play tells me I already have a subscription. I cancel the preexisting one, start up a new one, only to STILL not have premium. On top of that, your password system is buggier than a roach infestation, and I can no longer sign in. Reset my password multiple times, new password never works.
