although people complain for years, cabify still doesn't allow non-spanish-phone numbers to sign up. reddit and other platforms are full of this issue, so are reviews here. i am using uber now instead. /edit: dear support team, why would i spend my time communicating with your support team when the issue is easy to reproduce and widely known (see other reviews)? your app is simply unable to even attempt to send a verification code to international phone numbers. uber it is.

It doesn't work if you don't have a Spanish phone number (but it implies that customers from any country can use it), you get asked to contact their customer support for them to "help" you, they try to blame the issue on the user by saying some nonsense about the problem being with your phone permissions and that there's no evidence of errors on their side, but then openly admit it works with Spanish phone numbers. They're either extremely lazy and incompetent, or are acting in bad faith

I hate stupid apps, but then again they are the perfect reflection of the developer. I can't even set it up because the app does not know how to send an SMS. I should have gotten the initial text to verify the account, but nope, did not send me one. Tried again. Nope, app cannot send a verification code. Uninstalled.

The customer support is terrible in the HELP section. They respond the same thing OVER and over and can't grasp the situation or don't care. A lot of dishonest drivers on the app. I had a guy keep driving after he dropped me off. I contacted support because they charged me a ton more. Support charged me AGAIN and said a refund will take 2 to 25 business days. They steal from you. Do not use! And I'm sure they will say, in order to validate. Use help. Nah. RUN

What's even the point of this app? As a tourist, you can't sign up with your international number because you'll never get the OTP. Even when you choose Email sign in. Not useful at all. Edit: when I click on the link, it's in Spanish. There's no option to change the language. Also, it says my email is already registered.

Complete scammers, dont download this app. I topped up my account, ordered a cab, the cab was showing in another location in the map and the pick up point was in another location. I tried to find the cab, then he cancelled me, the receipt said 12.5 i was charged 17.7 but not from my top up but from my card. A complete shame. And also i cannot even contact them. You cannot use their mopeds as an foreigner, so they just took 20 euros from me, with no prior info about that.while i can rent ahouse😂

THIS APP ONLY EXISTS TO STEAL YOUR MONEY. My card was charged for a trip that never happened, their customer service team reviewed the situation, agreed with me yet never provided a refund nor credit for it. Their final answer was, "yes we charged you, we can't do anything else to help you", what kind of solution is that? What kind of professional company does this? Easy answer, Cabify.

Poor service. Unable to create a new account with non-local SIM (for example, if you are in Spain -> only Spanish phone numbers will be allowed for registration), which makes absolutely no sense. How are you supposed to book a taxi from the airport? Like, come on, It's 2024, your app is SUPPOSED to process other countries as well.

There's a bug that makes it impossible to cancel any kinds of rides (scheduled or immediate), even with a fresh reinstall. "OOPS, SOMETHING WENT WRONG" EVERY TIME. You ruined 2 people's nights with this just now. It's also damn near impossible to get anyone to accept anymore in Barcelona. This app used to be great but I can't recommend it all anymore

Not only the worst ride sharing app I've used, but probably the worst app overall. Utterly useless in Mexico. It takes 3+ minutes to find a driver (sometimes you wait indefinitely). When a driver is located, s/he is coming from a great distance, so be prepared to wait (it's not convenient). Drivers often take routes apart from what the app shows they should take. The promo codes they give you (new user, return user, etc), simply never get applied after you add them to your account. Terrible.

Terrible app. It is often buggy, particularly during peak hours. During rain or other high demand it will collapse. It also often not allow let you input street numbers just the street names which is quite frustrating. Poor customer service as well. Uber has comparable if now lower prices (except during surges) and has much more reliable service.

Absolutely terrible. I tried using it in Colombia. My account was immediately frozen for no reason. The only way to reach support is via email. Their initial response was quick but then no follow up. I had to ask THEM what additional details they needed after exchanging with 4 different agents. Not one of them knew to ask me for the additional information. I finally coaxed the requirements from one agent and immediately sent my information. Then no one got back to me. Trash service.

Downloaded this app for use in Spain, as uber and bolt didn't show much availability. This app usually shows as an ad from Google maps, with prices for the trip and car availability alongside of directions. The car availability is actually arbitrary/not based on reality. The first time I ordered a ride, the app spent about 15 min looking for a driver, until I gave up and just walked. Next time I booked a car to go the airport a full day ahead. I thought it meant I had it reserved, but it didn't.

Still long way to go to compete with Uber, Lyft etc. Main issues: - Cost, rides are about twice as expensive as just getting into a taxi - Integration in Google Maps directions always shows a much lower price then what you get once you get to the app - Contact forms are buggy and not easy to use when needed, don't render well on mobile phones

Deceitful company. Use Uber or a taxi instead. When we signed up we received a coupon for $80 off of three trips. We took the trips, but they didn't discount the money. When we contacted them, they said "oh, no, that only applied in certain country." It sure didn't say that in the big print. After the very-not-helpful customer "service," we tried to look up our coupon to see if we had missed the small print. They had deleted the coupon from our account, covering the evidence it seems. That's weird way to run a company, so we will get our rides elsewhere and spread the word. Update -- Well, that's not helpful. Their response below about my complaint about skeezy, dishonest customer service is to tell me to take my complaint to customer service. Maybe my next contact will be the one to find relief? Wow!

I don't recommend, it charges you when the drivers mess up and miss the pickup. We tried it in Barcelona, needed to make an event. The pickup time was 4 minutes. We waited and watched as the driver flew past us on a 1 way construction zone, and the pickup time instantly jumped to 18 minutes. We had to cancel, and the app charged us 10euro for canceling on the driver's mistake. Hailed a taxi, and made the event on time. I deleted this app after that experience. The regular taxis are much better.

Drivers keep canceling, four times in a row. You cannot depend on Cabify if you need to go somewhere in a rush. It happened once at the Barcelona airport and three times at my hotel there. The app kept giving the same driver who kept canceling repeatedly. I gave up and took a regular taxi. May be it works better in other cities. Wish we had uber here.

Terrible experience using this app. Have to wait 15 minutes after first install to book. Why? After a couple of trips couldn't book any more trips. App was blocked from making bookings. No explanation. Reported the issue to Customer service and tried to connect with them several times. No luck. Customer service non existent, never reverted or solved the issue. Easier to hail a cab on the streets. Unreliable.

Absolute piece of garbage. I used the app in Spain last year and it worked fine. Now going overseas and installed the app again. It won't let me login. I attempted to reset my password several times and it didn't give me any errors, but when I go to login it will not let me get in. I reset the password on their website, which is about as bad as the app, as I think it was successful, but can't be 100% sure. I still can't login to the app. Eventually it tells me: something went wrong. Really!

Prob one of the worst app to use for the airport. The airport pickup is at the arrival garage floor 2 while the app tells the driver to go to the departure floor 3. We have to go across the airport to get to the driver. We tried to pinpoint our pickup location and it doesn't let us. The driver is only allowed to wait 10mins and then cancels. Sooo in conclusion you have to run from from the arrival to the departure within 10mins to get a ride. That's only if you know where to go.
