I used to play Buzztime on a flip phone about 20 years ago and it was fun because you played against other people and could see the points for questions and the entire game. Wish this app could live up to that one.

I installed this but it doesn't add player plus points now. I thought that I linked it to the previous app. So all it was is the fact that I changed my email address from when I first joined. Spoke to a rep and got it changed. Working well now.

Can't ever connect. Maybe once is 5 times to my local bar. It "sees" the venue but then won't let me connect. Doesn't matter whether there is a game going on or a new one starting, same result.

Big improvement over the previous application. Answers in caps now. Shows the point total as you select tlor re-select an answer. Nice software change. However, if it was available at home as a paid subscription, I would subscribe. Buzztime is denying a large population segment the opportunity to enjoy nationalized trivia.

Very child like app and definitely not an improvement over the older Buzztime app! The new app also restricts Mock Locations, which will drive down activity and also drive down their business, as commercial clients will see the decline of clients! Very sad app!!

Glad this is a thing now! A suggestion would be to add a friend's list and a way to play with people on your friends list just as if you were playing out at a restaurant or bar. Otherwise the app is not that exciting. Needs to bring that same experience.

This used to be a fun game I played for 10 years. Ever since it was removed from BWW locations, it has gone straight downhill. Half the time the app doesn't work. Customer service is nonexistent, when they used to reply in a timely fashion and actually care about their customers. Their social media pages now just have political posts, but if you disagree with something (even respectfully), they will block you from the page and delete your comment. I would not recommend anything from Buzztime.

Not impressed. Nothing like playing in a location or when it was NTN trivia on Imagination Network back in the 90s. Sad, because if I could play this trivia on INN waayyy back then and see my score against everyone playing all over the country (and, if I recall correctly, even folks in bars in Canada) with same ?s, at same time, scores and locations in the list just like playing in a bar, then there is NO WAY you can tell me that it cant be done that way now 25+ years later for us non bar ppl

Technical Support doesn't appear to exist. The app has been out of service for approx a week

The app works fine, but I won't be using it, in fact I've already uninstalled it. My interest is competing on the Buzztime network with the games played at the bars like Six, and Playback. I would gladly pay a monthly subscription fee to be able to play on the Buzztime network remotely. Unfortunately there's no Buzztime locations near me.

Happy to see Buzztime out in a different form. But you won't get five stars until... 1. You must get the other games out there besides Countdown! Sci Files was a Wednesday ritual for my friends and I, before all this nonsense happened. 2. Speaking of "friends". You MUST give the game the ability for your friends to play the exact same questions that you are playing at the exact same time. Heck, it could even be total strangers (just like at the bar). But having timed games that others can play along with you would be a blast. Especially since we don't plan on going back to our Buzztime place until the common cold is cured. I am in agreement with a previous reviewer. If Buzztime could get these items in place, it would be worth a subscription.

When playing Countdown, if I do anything during or between games, I need to restart my phone for the app to work. I don't know if this is deliberate or a defect in the app, but either way, it's awful.

newest update didn't work on bar WiFi that not working, currently in a bar ask it already is playing but says no game available when right not on wifi, is buzztime circling the drain? been playing for many years, so many fewer bars participating and no more playmakers . Now game is countdown app is still saying no games available.

Since the overhaul of this buzztime trivia at my location, no one plays anymore. there isn't a way for people to play without logging in, so instead no one plays. Please add a "guest" play option where a name is generated for them again.

Good to have Buzztime available anytime. However, while playing in bed with my phone on silent, an ad suddenly popped up with loud music which woke up my wife. Now I'm afraid to play this thing at night since I have no control over it's sound as I do with the regular Buzztime app. Update 2/27/21: Disregard my last criticism. I found that even though I had my phone on silent, the media volume was up. However, it would be nice if I could pay to get rid of ads.
