The game is fantastic! The controls are responsive, the gameplay great. The player is constantly rewarded so nothing feels slow. And above all else, nothing is hidden behind microtransactions. It's a game real one. Nothing feels cheap or rushed, and the fact that I can can have all this great content plus more is what makes this a shining jewl, head and shoulders above the rest. That's why I tip my hat off to you MASAYUKI ITO. This game truly deserves 5 stars you guys did a fantastic job.

A lot of people have already covered why this is a great mobile game, and it is. But even among shooters, it does something unique. To actually clear each level, you have to fulfill some objectives beyond just reaching the end, such as destroying enemy bullets with bombs or getting a high score multiplier. These help teach players how to actually get good at bullet hell games. For challenge seekers, I can't recommend this one enough.

Offers solid bites of bullet hell gameplay which you can replay as many times as you want, to grind out those achievements or just get your scores up. The game is pretty graphic intensive however, and the more elaborate patterns caused my framerate to suddenly cut in half. Not that I'll complain too much, since it makes the bosses easier.

NOT a con extorting cash in order to advance. Watch some ads to go quicker, but it's unnecessary. In fact, cash for upgrades (few total purchasable and inexpensive, limited) is explicitly stated to lose some the game's benefits!! Music is sweet, self-referential. The pedagogy inherent in the sequence of 1. the challenges you face and 2. the particular ships and power-ups that will be able to defeat those is gorgeous. Apparently exists a series of these. Guess what I'm playing after this?

On one hand this is an incredible bullet hell that's pretty much entirely free- which is awesome! My only annoyance is in the main chapter mode- sometimes I get stuck on a level without enough points to clear it even after beating the level without getting hit, which feels really annoying since it usually means I have to grind ap to level up my ship to deal enough damage to meet whatever requirement the level wants.

Wow! Really great game. The controls are responsive and are easy to learn in a few seconds. if you are a fan of buttle hell type games then this is a no brainer. Its not gonna be the greated bullet hell, but its a great one that you can play anywhere. i think the graphics alright. The menus are a bit trying to understand ar first but its okay. I also want to talk about the pay model. Its fair and is not necessary. You can watch ads to get points and play through the game just fine.

It's been a while since I've played a game like this, but this game is phenomenal. The gameplay is great, with the difficulty curve being pretty fair. The challenge and endless modes are great tests of skill. The soundtrack is absolutely amazing, the ads are optional, and you aren't forced to buy ships to get past a level, making it very f2p friendly. It might eat through your battery, but it's still one of my most favorite games to play. 10/10, would definitely recommended.

This is a good game if you like more of a challenge on your device. The first chapter is a cakewalk but the game very quickly ramps up the difficulty, and I mean VERY quickly. You will not coast through this game like it's nothing unless you're already exceptionally good at bullet hells. Also, there seems to be this really annoying bug(?) where when you go to the customize ship menu it switches back to the Laser ship despite the fact that its mot the one I have equipped, and I've accidentally upgraded it instead of another ship, wasting AP that I just farmed for. Speaking of, grinding to get your ship fully upgraded is kind of a chore, but it's worth it. You should really give this game a try if you're looking for a good challenge.

This game has a great balance graphics, sound and gameplay. With different ships and upgrades allow for a wide range of play for such a simple concept. Even the options for buying a ship or upgrade is very fair. Most games charge you $5-$20 for in game currency. This game you pay as little as $.99 and get to try out other ships for free. Even the ads are great giving you a choice to watch them for extra AP.

Fantastic bullet hell game. I couldn't believe a bullet hell game was possible on touch, but it works really well. Haven't really played one since Ikaruga, so this was a fantastic fix for that. My only complaint is that it doesn't work with my Bluetooth mouse; you must use your finger. Tends to block the visible area at the bottom, but things practically never come up in that direction. I can't find a way to unlock more than 3 ships without paying anything, but there are no ads. You can obsessively work your way through the main levels to unlock all your ship upgrades, then go through endless mode casually. Of course, you could just use endless to get your upgrades, too. The music is a bit jarring, but one level kinda sounds like old-school Mega Man, which is nice. I get a fair bit of slowdown when things get crazy, but I'm on a Nexus 6P that seems a bit long in the tooth. The game is beautiful, though, and has several graphics levels to lessen the slowdown. If you need something intense every once in a while, this game is excellent. With the exception of the 'extra' levels, none of the levels take more than 3 minutes or so. The extra levels are all variations of endless mode, so you play until you die. Play it.

I've played a lot of the top "bullet hell/top down shooters" and this is, hands down, the best! The forced advertising is minimal. AP, which is earned and spent to buy upgrades, comes fast enough to make upgrading ships easy, but not so fast that you'll run out of things to work for inside of a couple of weeks. Also, with a few chaotic exceptions, the game usually leaves enough room to pilot through the bullets. Try it out, you won't be disappointed!

Called a bullet hell, but not immediately horrifying to face. Neat music, and a hitbox smaller than the ship thats easy to see. Some of the bullets and enemies can be missed, so keep brightness up, and as the difficulty goes up, so does your opportunities to strengthen your avatar. Also slows a bit when the screen is covered in bullets.

Excellent addition to this genre with a nice progression style campaign mode which is a really nice change of pace. No adds, it's not pay to win, and the curve leaves plenty of room for beginners to learn the genre while still catering to the us bullet hell masochists. Excellent presentation. My only complaint is in regards to enemy bullet mechanics, they dissappear similar to defeating a spellcard but it undermines this genre imo. Still a great game, just try it.

This is a pure exciting bullet hell experience that stays true to the genres strongest points. The music is really well done although it lacks a lot of variety and the progression is slow but satisfying. The graphics are clean and you can always tell what's going on, and there's always a way out of even the trickiest of scenarios. The controls are pretty great and one of the better translations of bullet hell to mobile I've played. If this app were payed, and I knew it was this good, I would have bought it. The design respects the player and doesn't devolve into an addictive money hungry loop like I was worried about, and there are practically zero non opt-in ads.

Wow. This game is good. I have completed chapter 4 and it never stops being interesting. New enemy ships appear every few levels, and each new one is slightly different than any before, and that adds whole new spins to each level. You can also play Chalenges, which are just longer levels with finer difficulty controls. There is also an Endless mode, but I found that less fun because I would run myself out of Bombs too fast. Music is really good too. Highly recommend.

Addictive. I love arcade shooters, but I never got into danmaku, aka bullet hell games. I was pretty sceptical just downloading this, but it was free. All the unlocks are free, you just have to play long enough. Ads give points to make the process easier. Never would've thought a game like this would be so playable on a phone touchscreen, I'm a believer now.

Bullet Hell Monday really scratches the bullet hell itch. Your ship's hitbox is really small, a typical mechanic of the genre. Much of the game is about reading and recognizing patterns in the bullets, but there are a few levels where good reaction time or memorization is required. My one minor complaint is that the yellow items ought not to be as bright as they are as sometimes, it's hard to see bullets when they're on top of the items.

Loved everything except for the beginning. Takes a little while to get into the good stuff, and I personally had to farm chapter 1 levels for a while (I really think endless should start out unlocked to make farming fun) . Only a little complaint as I'm not sure if you just have to unlock them, but I'd really like to be able to purchase all ships with AP instead of money (or in addition too) . Otherwise, you've really done well on this game and I'd love to see more like this.

This is simply one of the best "bullet hell" shooters available. In a sea of money-grabbing, ad heavy, pay-to-win apps, it's refreshing to find one that truly rewards skill. Ads can be watched for extra cash (totally optional) but you'll probably never need to. Stellar gameplay, clean graphics, and plenty of modes to choose from. Buy an extra ship or two to show the developer your support. We need to encourage this type of behavior.

A fast, fluid, beautiful, and intuitive top down shooter. Simple mechanics belie challenging and satisfying gameplay. A well crafted learning curve, that introduces newer enemy types along with more and more intricate bullet patterns that excited and astonished instead of overwhelmed. Levels are snappy and well paced, which keeps deaths from being discouraging or frustrating, and respawns are quick and inviting, keeping the "one more game" momentum strong. I cant believe I ran out of space.
