For the past year I haven't been able to scan receipts, it just crashes the app out immediately and I don't even get the opportunity to tap the manually enter receipt info button. I'm making this review because after the latest update, the app was almost entirely broken so I had to resort to a reinstall. This fixed the issue of the app being completely unusable, but the receipt scanner is still busted and shows no sign of getting fixed.

Updated 1/27/2024: STILL Totally non functional, even after deleting and reinstalling. Can NOT log in. App just flashes, goes to webpage, cannot login, flashes and resets. Has been this way forever-- and no change since prior review in 11/23. Not response from developers. So one must use an iPhone to order online. Android app useless. Won't run on top of the line brand new samsung. Didn't work on prior top of the line pixel either.

I haven't been able to scan a receipt for reward points for well over a year. I've reached out on the website a couple times now with no response. I've logged off and and back in several times. I've deleted the app and re-downloaded several times. Still nothing. Trivia works maybe 50% of the time. The app and (lack of) customer service is trash. Using an S21+

It's a great restaurant to watch your favorite sports team. The app. let's you order food and play a trivia game (you can win food) The rewards program is great. I have gotten complementary food many times. The staff have always been friendly and professional. The food is delicious. There are too many flavors of sauces to choose from. If you are curious, ask for a sample of any of the sauces. If you can't scan your receipt, just give the server the tel # on your account.

The BBW App is unpredictable at best, it has several "features" that are unusable or inconsistent. Scan receipts seldom functions, so often so, that I have quit using it resulting in more resources, of the already understaffed employees. Also, I haven't been able to use the Play, or trivia feature, for several weeks. If an update is not soon released I will abandon the App altogether.

App used to work fine. Somewhere down the line of updates, the Rewards tab became completely broken and only produced errors. I figured that this would be fixed soon, but two updates later and it's still not functioning. Im a big wing guy and love their wings, but until this is resolved I don't think I'll be ordering from them for a while. EDIT 2/10/24: The issue has been resolved. Though I still have nitpicks regarding this app, particularly the lack of a Extra Sauce option,

The app has become worthless. Not sure what they did, but it no longer works. I tried to sign in and it keeps crashing. Finally got signed in and it would not give me the BOGO on my wing order. Took that as an opportunity to try Wings, Etc. Crashes every time I go to the rewards section. Can't get in there at all. Can't play any of the games or view my rewards. Didn't even get the reward for trivia last night.

This app gliches and either gives error codes or shuts down every time you try to use rewards and/or scan a receipt. Also, shuts down everytime you try to manually enter a receipt. Half the time the restaurant can't find the my rewards account to add it on the check, either. The only thing that usually works is the check in, but what's the point if you can't ever use your points.

Logs you out every time the app is updated and they update often enough I have to log in every time I use it. Which wouldn't be bad except I can never remember the password which means I create a new one, which makes rememberING it the next time harder. Then function SLOOOOOOWWWW, messing with gps to check-in, why don't you use the location wifi to check-in. Points expire also so hard to use them. Love the restaurants but I'm not going 3 xs a week.

It's never a lot but it's something to keep up with when you eat at buffalo's as much as my family does. Trying to enter receipts for points has become impossible and I've averaged not getting my points added once out of every three trips when it would scan. It's actually caused us to stop at other places that are closer to home because I would always drive a little farther to build points since I was already out. Hope it gets fixed soon.

I haven't been able to scan the code at my location for YEARS. Now, I can't even logon, with the new app. I was quite impressed when I went to a city location and it scanned. Imagine that, being impressed that a barcode worked. The rewards are less than mediocre. The wings haven't been wet in like 5 years. The best sauce they had, hit BBQ, disappeared for no reasons. Just not impressed with anything they do these days.

This app is incredibly glitchy. Many times I am unable to login. It crashes constantly. For a company this large you would think this could be fixed, but it has been an issue for awhile. Please don't have restaurant specials and games that are dependent on logging into the app if it isn't reliable. Months later, still completely unusable, can't even log in. People behind me upset as well. Would love to play trivia, but nope. Might as well turn off the trivia TVs.

Every single time I try to place a place an order, there's always an error, either error code 4241 or just "payment error". I've tried everything. I've tried different credit cards. I've tried Google pay. I've even tried clearing the cache, clearing data, reinstalling, absolutely nothing works. I've also had the app crash while trying to place an order, stealing my rewards points. Yay. What a great app.

What are you going to resolve all of the issue with your app? If you enter to make it usable, you need to pull it from the app stores. You cannot scan receipts for rewards. You cannot place an order conveniently without error. You cannot use it reliably to pay for your order. And of course you can see to whole corporate menu, that some franchises have decided to alter or drop items. The number one rule of franchising is consistency between locations. 😔

Similar to other people the app will crash when trying to scan a receipt. Very frustrating, what good is a rewards app that does not allow you to enter points. Also as someone who enjoys doing the trivia when I am there. I also could not get into the games section on the app. All of the advanced features of the app are broken, but I guess you could use it to look up the menu.

The app looks clean. But it is extremely buggy. I'm always being logged out. And it's borderline impossible to earn rewards. The app constantly force closes every time I try to scan a receipt. Even manually entering points, it hasn't updated in two weeks. I also had an email offer for an extra 1,000 points for spending $25, and I never received those points. And I manually entered the receipt before that deadline ended.

Literally doesn't work. Android and iPhone. We've done the updates. Uninstaller and reinstalled. Connect to wifi, disconnect from wifi. Doesn't matter. The app just literally does not function. Even the bartenders, waitstaff, and managers have told me that it's the worst app on the planet. It just doesn't work. Which sucks bc you can't play trivia. They replaced the tablets with this app and the app doesn't work so no trivia. And honestly, for me, no triva = no BWW.

An absolutely useless app. The rewards points never accrue when I make a purchase on it. The app support e-mail is useless. The same answer I get everytime "you need a receipt." If I ordered through the app, there isn't going to be a receipt, especially with a delivery order. Absolutely the most idiotic app setup. Useless, waste of time. Don't waste your time or money ordering through them.

Everytine I use the app on either my phones (I have android and iPhone) and it doesn't work properly on either. Everytime they try and give you an app exclusive deal it fails and I end up just paying full price since I spent a whole meal trying to get it to work. Stick with the regular menu prices and don't bother attempting with this frustratingly bad app.

Tried to place an order that contained wings I redeemed points to purchase for free, but when I entered my payment information I got a nonspecific "Error: technical difficulties" message, and when I tried to place the order again, my points were gone! I have had many problems before with the technical difficulties error message, but I've never lost loyalty points from it. Please get someone to fix the functionality of their app!
