I love the app, even though there is a subscription fee. The app was updated and now, even though I have always paid back in full and on time, I no longer qualify for an advance. There's a new rating system and because I spend money when I get paid, I can't have an advance. I get paid, pay bills, need an advance and am denied. Disappointed in the change. I'll probably change my subscription to the free account. It makes no sense to pay a monthly fee just to be denied an advance.

Out of all the payday loan apps, this is by far the most frustrating to use. It seems to be at random when they choose to lend you anything. I've had the same income amount and bank for years now and I constantly get "needs work" for spending, bank account health and earnings profile. My earnings has NOT changed, my bank account has NOT changed, yet they flip flop between being eligible and not. Reaching out to support does nothing. It's a very frustrating experience every time I use this.

First time trying Brigit. Easy set up, Intuitive UI, no errors with the app. Cash advance seems to have gone through just fine. Reasonable fees and terms. No issues whatsoever thus far. Very pleasant experience compared to other apps. I highly recommend this app. Thank you for offering a true quality service. I Iook forward to doing business again in the future.

Was able to get one $50 advance one time, then denied it every time afterward. They say their decisions are based on certain criteria each time, but all they're really doing is collecting their monthly fee (if you upgrade) and not providing that financial assistance when you really need it as they advertise. I downgraded to the free plan (but am still going to be charged once more?), I'm uninstalling the app. There are other cash advance apps available that are better, and don't scam you.

There are lots of other similar apps that let you borrow far more and don't charge a monthly fee. Borrowing a whole $50 through their cash advance system was helpful until they overdrafted my bank account for repayment and gave zero support for the issue their inflexible automated repayment system caused. I had explained this problem to them and they were unable to change the repayment date to prevent further overdrafts. I've lost hundreds of dollars using this app to help make ends meet

I signed up for a $1 a month credit builder loan, which is a cool product to offer, but somehow also got saddled with a $25 a month credit builder loan that I remember tapping on to look at the terms but I did not sign up for that. So I canceled both but they're still trying to say I'm going to owe them a month's premium subscription for forcing a loan on me I didn't agree to and never made a single payment on. Good luck collecting on that. 👹🤡 I only had the premium subscription for two days.

Ok... I've had Brigit for a few months now. They offer a paycheck advance, BUT that's only IF you pay them $9.99/monthly. The first time I was only allotted $10. So it wasn't even worth it. Paid that back early. 2nd time, $10, 3rd time $20, 4th, $25, then I got my tax return and surprise, they offered me a $70 advance. ( When I didn't need it ) My account attached to Brigit has roughly $2000 deposited each month. So there's no reason why I shouldn't have access to a bigger advance..

The money is real. Lol. Got a few dollars til payday. Didn't know about the membership fee, but I'm interested to see what the breakdown says about my spending. So I'll keep it for a few months while balancing my budget. 2nd month in a row that I needed a little extra. The repayment took 5 days to process after payday. So I couldn't get the new loan until today, but it's great because it was right on time for an Uber. 👍

TOTAL RIPOFF!! This entire set up is a total joke. I'm paying every month for my subscription and I always repay my advances early but can never get another advance. This is the fourth time I've had to delete this app because it's taking my money every month which means I have to cancel the subscription I've already paid for, start a new account and pay again. What a scam. Also I repaid my advance early several days ago and oddly enough I'm one point shy of qualifying for another advance today.

App was ok but very deceitful billing practice. Used the instant cash feature and paid back multiple times no issues but also never was given an option to get more. Then after they bill a monthly subscription fee decide to change my eligibility next day. When I messaged to cancel they won't refund the month. That's a very deceitful way of doing things, charge a person for a service and then change that service with out notice and still make them pay. I will be reaching out to the BBB and fraud

Brigit is fine for low amounts. I signed up for the subscription. My second advance was lower than my first, but that's pretty standard. The only issue I'm having is Brigit is supposed to automatically deposit when my bank balance drops below a certain amount. Last month they deposited when my account dropped below $125. This month they deposited nothing. I had to go to the app and request an advance when I realized I was -$120. So I am not really sure what I am paying for.

It's OK, but I feel like I got mixed messages and some of them are vague communications or I just don't know where to look on the app and that's why I downgraded to the free version. I don't like paying for something that seems a little shifty or difficult to get straightforward answers. But it think the credit builder did help with my credit score a little but now you need to pay more for that option. The price hike, isn't worth it for only that 1 benefit in my opinion.

Unable to even use app anymore. Used it for months with no issues, now after I select my checking account it keeps restarting and saying "Unable to find account". And the website is useless, after trying to log in it asks if it is a joint account and takes you to a screen that you can't progress on because the "continue" button isn't real. So now I'm being charged a monthly fee and can't even log in to use the service or cancel the subscription

There's a subscription fee, typically not a problem but when the fee comes out on its own, I tend to forgot the date of said fee. Seems more logical to have the subscription fee come out alongside the advance repayment. I wouldn't recommend this app if you're struggling. It's not here to help you, it's here to put in a deeper hole.

They continued to charge me 9.99 for Plus after they changed the price down to 5.99. They have never gave me the option to draw out more than $50 even though I've used this app well over a year. You're better off downloading Dave. I've lost money just being "subscribed" to this app. *EDIT* after i unsubscribed from brigit they sent me a email about a "free plan" and clicking on it sent me straight to the 5.99 monthly plan. PLEASE DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. They're just trying to rob you

Do not download this app!!!!!!!! They trapped me into a premium subscription so I thought I would give them a try for a month. Decided to change my plan from premium to plus and pay less and was charged one full month of premium and was advised that I would get charged an additional month at premium then after that it would downgrade to plus.

The repayment processing time is bogus. With my bank, I get paid up to 2 days early, and transactions are usually processed instantly or within 1-2 business days. As of late with Brigit, every repayment is processed for at least the full 5 business days, which equates to a week if the debit is on a weekend. I'm leaving the review because it's clearly not my bank's problem, and I didn't always have this issue with them. The app also logs me out and crashes often. It's now my absolute last resort.

BEWARE!!! Absolute SCAMMING THIEVES! Says can't connect to my bank. So no loan. Then FOR TWO MONTHS I tried to log in to cancel my account and when I put in my phone number it says in the process of cancelling and will notify me when it's completed. In the meantime I wake up to 3 different charges on my checking account of $8.99 twice and $5.99 today. For what? I can't log in to find out why or to stop the charges. Scammers at their finest. Don't get mixed up with them.

Brehhhhhhh!! THIS APP IS TRASH! I got a notification saying I was approved for overdraft, but when I opened the app it disappeared. I've had this app for months now & no progress! On top of that you have to pay for an subscription. I know I make enough money, especially with the account I attached. Don't waste your time. They just send u loan offers and fake resources that ultimately just leave you with unwanted text, email, and calls.

Pros: Cash advance is easy to use for a low fee. App is fairly user friendly. Gives a lot of reminders through text about your bank balance (this can also be annoying lol). Cons: monthly subscription isn't amazing. While it creates a lower fee for cash advances than many agencies, you don't always need the service monthly and if you only pay when you need it you don't get all the features you would otherwise.
