God I love this game. It was so fun. I'd play for HOURS per day. The tactics of gameplay are really interesting and thoughtful. The graphics are really nice, even in combat. I highly recommend it. However, the device transfer system is wacky. I had to switch from IOS (iPhone 6s) to a (Google pixel 3) and I didn't figure out how to switch my data effectively. Lost all my progress. Despite that I love the game.

To sum up this game after playing close to a year: Phenomenal artwork, but very simple visuals/effects. Easy to play, although, there's a slight learning curve in terms of abilities, connections, and placement. unit acquisition can be cumbersome. Overall, the gameplay is simple, but sometimes repetitive. There's several and Great opportunities for F2Ps, but progression and building characters is abysmally slow. It's a decent game, though there isn't much to keep players invested and engaged.

A very fun game. I wish that you had more control of the combat. You pretty much just set your characters up and let them go. It would be more strategic and more of a thinker FRPG if you could actually stop and make decisions. I like the fact that you are not hit with tons of ads for in game purchases and you can play and get a lot of cool characters and power ups without paying any money. Almost constant non maintenance updates get frustrating and will eat up your memory quickly.

I first downloaded the game on the day of release, and I liked it a lot. Now, I've reinstalled, and it's still a great strategy game with nice visuals and a good combat system. It's also pretty f2p friendly, which is an added bonus. I like the system, the gameplay, and the way levels are formatted, and I would say this is one of the better strategy games in the Play Store. I do however feel that Brown Dust was a better name, and I liked the old intro better. The old intro had great animation.

I like the game, and it involves a lot of strategy, but there are WAY too many 5*s that require specific, rare units (and at +4 skill level, or higher, at that) in order to even be usable, leaving them sidelined, indefinetely. I also like the art, and the variety of characters, but I hate that only their base states and costumes get illustrations.

I like that the battles are different. The thing that caused me to uninstall was that the home screen is so insanely crowded that you feel overwhelmed with all the options. Things should be more concise and organized. I dont see myself reinstalling the app. From a marketing stand point, dont overwhelm first time players with too many options.

Pretty fun game. Easy to pick up, but there's plenty of depth if you really get into it. Not wild about the gacha, but so far it's not too bad. Pros: Beautiful artwork, gameplay is fun and engaging, rewards careful thought and planning, but not overly complicated. Cons: Once you set up your squad, you just have to sit and watch, would be nice if you could do something mid-battle. If a merc has an awakened form, they don't have a new illustration to match, which makes collecting them less fun.

Love it. The artwork is personally my favorite of any game I've ever played. The characters have good dialogue. The game is also very generous with good auto play for AFK-ness. The only problem is the storage and upgrading mercenaries. There should be a MUCH faster way to upgrade mercenaries. Speaking of which, upgrading said mercenaries requires tons and tons and tons of fodder and resources. THAT'S what makes it time consuming, and not the actual gaming.

Kind of an old-school strategy game. Fun, with a surprising amount of tactical options. Visuals are a little simple by current standards, but imagine you're playing a board game and you'll love it! EDIT: I'm downgrading to 4*. The game is great, but it crashes more than any program I have ever used on any platform. It's unreal. Combine that with how long it takes to load, and actually playing can be very frustrating.

I thought I wasn't going to like it, but I was wrong. I love the character dialogue, the art, the sprites, and how many ways there are to upgrade your units. There are so many modes and so, so many missions and events. It's quite overwhelming, actually. But awesome auto options! Even auto options for upgrading! Really bad thing is...it seems heavily underrated. I couldn't find good guides online. The fan Reddit subredit seems dead too.

The game is fun, I enjoy the music, art style, character design and the gameplay. I haven't gotten too far in yet but the story has a really appealing premise that entices you to keep playing. Character interactions are nice and don't feel forced, making the world feel that much more alive. I would say that my only problem thus far is that the menu can feel really overwhelming for newcomers since the tutorial glances over most of it. Over all, the game is worth the time invested.

Great game until you start the second campaign set. Enjoyed game to this point but then became unplayable. damage for player seems to be halved while computer is doubled. Archers kill with one shot no exceptions. round 2 i was done. Another game to delete since advancement is no longer possible. The extreme difference between campaigns is ridiculous. i may have struggled with a few in part 1 but it was possible to tweak and win now its screw the player.

This is a fun game with tons of units and plenty of events to help get you started. The art is very enjoyable and the battles take a fair bit of planning as you get further in. Perhaps one of the best parts is simply knowing that most units have a use and you always want more to cover bases you might not even know about yet. One downside is that there are too many things at first that might take time getting used too. Overall a great game!

its very fast paced and easy to learn. Make sure you click on the little question marks because not everything is given a direct tutorial. You can put multiple dungeons on auto and still go through the main quest at the same time. you can even have the game shut off for you automatically while auto-repeating dungeons. I literally earn while I fall asleep or work on whatever i need to. Fun, great story line and very convienient gameplay system.

The game is great. The story is interesting and well written, a typo appears once in a blue moon, but it doesn't detract from the story. The game play is interesting and engaging. It reminds me a lot of fire emblem but, the characters don't move through out the fight. The gacha system seems generous. Overall an excellent game. I would gladly send some money the devs way in the future.

Overall: Good Game, sadly does nothing Unique or eye-catching. -1* 2D Graphics and Animations are a lazy alternative to gaming. Sadly in BrownDust it plays as its major detriment. 100+ Mercs. were pushed out with little to no story or importance. Just cool pictures to look at for 5 minutes. -1* In-game action and combat is painfully bland/boring. Bad animations with 2d limitations creates lackluster, uninspired graphics. +*3 Great Merc. design, Skill/Effect system, and soundtrack.

I've been playing Brave Nine for a while and have had some glaring issues with it that seem to have since been resolved for the most part. The only issue that remains is an extremely long load time on the main screen that is definitely in some need of an optimisation. I AM, however, most impressed by the team's customer support. In my view, they carry the company on its shoulders. They respond to inquiries incredibly quick and are extremely helpful. Excellent work to all of them.

The art is absolutely amazing. However, the gameplay is monotonous and gets boring very very quick. There's a pretty good amount of freebies for new players, but the actual gacha is terrible. The only good units I've gotten have been from the free select and random 4 and 5 star tickets. The biggest problem I've had is the arena system. There's absolutely no sense of matching with players at your level, and I find myself getting crushed every time. All in all it's not a bad game, but not amazing.

The strategy battles are a good challenge, even with 4 and 5 star characters. The campaign is a bit time consuming and you have to go through tons of battles (like 100+ ) to unlock the challenge levels for farming materials and obtaining runes and gear. Besides the campaign grind, the features are neat, such as how the option to auto-repeat battles takes time depending on how many turns it took to clear the level. Definitely a fun game I'll be playing for a while.

As someone who's playes this for over a year, it's a pretty cool strategy game, good artwork, and a lot of things to do. Legends are hard, but not impossible, and they offer generous rewards. However, connectivity issues are a thing and it does feel like the playerbase is dwindling. Lately, I can barely start the game without it crashing on me, making it basically unplayable for me.
