Amazing app, I have made many friends from across the world! I didn't rate five stars because there is a bug or glitch I'm assuming, that prevents me from getting a reward after an ad. Example: I had tapped on the special chest where you watch an ad, watched it, didn't get my bottle. Anyway, great app!

I've been on this app for less than 24 hours now and it's cured my loneliness. I've had great conversations with people from about 5 different countries so far and I've loved it so much. I woke up this morning and had received about 20 bottles, it's exciting to wake up and sort through them. Some creeps on here but it's to be expected, you can block users and even one country too. Also if you are having issues with the app, especially adding a profile picture, take your phone off power mode.

App is very cool! You can meet a lot of people. Mostly from India, Indonesia, and the Philippines...But some from other places as well. The app works great except for one thing. While you are in there the messages come through no problem. Once you minimize the app, you will get push notifications. Also no problem. However, once you go back into the app to read the new messages, the app is "loading new messages" forever. You have to force quit the app and reopen it and *boom* all the messages are there just fine. That's a little annoying. Otherwise....Great!

Great app! But wjen I was a younger, more naive child (not too youbg to get the app, but a dumb teen) about a year ago, I connected with plenty of people. they all seemed nice enough and we talked okay. but then they asked me to send picutres. EVERY ONE of the, like, three people I kept contact with for longer than a day did. I said no. I wasn't comfortable with that, but they persisted. "Come on! I'll show you a pic of me if you do!" There's an issue that caused me to delete the app.

Very overwhelming. You don't get a chance to breathe. A lot of bottles just pile up. I had the app only a day, and I had hundreds of bottles to look through. My notifications just kept dinging from this app alone. Then some of the people who I did keep, deleted the conversation because I didn't respond in a "timely manner." There's no skin tone options, which sucks. It's not for those of us trying to practice social skills. You're pushed right into the water. You have to be ready immediately.

Too expensive. The cost is discouraging open communication. Fewer people keep bottles because they're more busy collecting enough to reach the world, which takes forever to accomplish. Also, the bug causing the text for the bottles to be hidden behind the keyboard is still there. Please fix. Furthermore, there should be an option to copy and release a bottle so a person can keep a nice message even if they don't want to communicate. Finally, an option to reply directly to a bottle.

To the developer: Easter eggs are exciting. But freqently wonder if many features of the App need to be explored and understood. I could not find comprehensive usage as the Faq appears inadequate. How can we access the quizzes in the App. I still haven't been able to get to the quizzes section. Also Apps having come a long way, certain basic chat facilities are expected to be available in any chat thread like saving conversations, exporting and few other things. Not proprietary to few Apps.

I love the concept of this app, and have had a great time using it in free time or when I am bored! It's a great way to learn about so many different types of people when you're unable to travel and learn yourself, and it helps to learn a bit more of how to engage others in unfamiliar settings! The mechanics are also very pleasant to use and look at! overall a great experience for anyone looking for more international social connections and learning without means of doing so through traveling!!!

basically, it's not functioning. I've tried my account on multiple devices. i got logged in one time in the years I've been trying. i give up! i was logged in and trying to navigate, only to get booted back to the log in screen that won't let me back in. thank goodness I'm not trying to use it to communicate. i like the concept but it's buggy it seems, because even to get that one log in, i had to shut down the app and reopen because you can't refresh and it was stuck. incredibly disappointing

This has never been the greatest app out there but it was sufficient and mostly worked. But after the last two updates...sure it looks pretty...but I am not getting notifications of bottles. But worse than that I will get a notification of a message but when I click on the chat...it doesn't show the message that I can see in the preview. Sometimes it will show up if I leave the chat open long enough but most times it just disappears. If I can't see my messages what's the point of the app?

Pleasantly surprised, especially by the good vibes. I'm not usually much of a writer, but I really did appreciated this form of creative communication. I spent awhile enjoying figuring out the app and its features. At first, I was deterred by a few limitations (you can only choose 5 interests and 5 languages), which was difficult for my broad range of interests.However, it ended up being a nice limiting factor later, and stretched my ability to describe these things in other ways. Super pleased

I like the app, but I wish I could be the only one able to contact whoever sent the bottles I'm keeping. Sometimes I just want to keep a nice bottle, but not necessarily start a conversation -- It's a bottle in the middle of the ocean after all. Overall, the app is good. Thank you for your hard work! (Edit: From 4 to 3 stars -- I don't know what happened after recent updates, but I can't receive any messages anymore. They show on notifications, but aren't in the app)

It's a really cool idea. And the layout is great. One option for future updates could be being able to select languages. So bottles get matched to people who also speak your language. I speak English so am lucky that many others do as a second language as well. But for someone who is say... German... Not many other countries may have German speaking people.

Pretty good. It connects with a lot of people, though it would be nice if there was a level of fluency in a language setting to get matched with others who speak the language. I seem to continually get people who speak very little english, and its not a problem but it would be helpful to have a setting. Also, the system is great, and super easy to figure out. Though group chats would be cool if there was a setting where you could send multiple bottles for the same chat. Great app other than that

the app is good in heart, and I understand that. There are a lot of people who just want nudes, but it's hard to crack down without being nitpicky and violating privacy, also understandable, but there is a glitch on the otherwise great app. When I send a message, and then a follow-up, the last word of the first message tends to pop up, and I have to backspace it (This only happens if I sent two or more messages in a row to the same person). This app is lot of fun and I met some great people but it malfunctions a lot. I have to reload multiple times to get it to work. I'm supposed to receive a treasure chest every hour but I am convinced that doesn't happen. Previously contacted them about it but they just told me I definitely get them, so I just gave up on it. Update: A few years later, there are a lot of extra features but it seems like bottled was better without all of the extra stuff. People throw out bottles but don't talk.

This app is great and I've made great friends from all over the world that I still talk to after years. The only flaw is that they took away to ability to block more countries. It's only a flaw because some countries are more prominent in the app and a lot of us want to meet more people from less prominent countries. Like 5 people in a row will be from the same one out of 4 common countries
