I like the game, but it seems like there's something wrong with the dice rolls. It seems like the computer out rolls be the majority of the time. Often losing troops at a 2:1 ratio.

It was called risk when I bought it. The name changed to border siege, one can only presume due to a copyright claim. It's a good adaptation of the classic game.

Suddenly doesn't work. It's like the server is frozen. The online games won't refresh and can't be opened and played. I'm right now missing my turn in several games. Please fix this!! Samsung Galaxy S9+

Still doesn't notify me always when I have a play to make. But overall the idea of taking a so slow board game and speeding it up and making it fun is fantastic.

Great adaptation of the original with many additional versions. No annoying advertisements. Good AI opponent play.

Dice Rolls Always Favor AI. If you're trying to take a strategic point the AI will mysteriously roll 6's consistently. The programmers have made zero attempt to correct this since the game debuted. Also even with Skynet mode off all AI will ignore strategic moves and go out of their way to attack you. Very poorly programmed. Would rate 0 stars if possible.

The game is essentially Risk with many improvements. There's not a lot negative to say about the game itself. I'm only not giving this three stars because several of the maps made by Solonaut are horribly unbalanced and therefore not fun to play. The worst is Nubian Empire; it's not winnable from the south of the map without a LOT of luck. Edit: Loading my review to two stars because not only are the Solonaut maps not fixed, but there's a new one and it's even worse.

Great risk game, worth paying for. However often, but not always, I cannot redeem my troops when I am eligible. This only happens when I have cards of the same type, please fix this as it can often cost the game.

The game screen won't fit on the full screen of my Samsung galaxy S10 plus making so I can't even play the game because the bottom of the screen with the attack is inaccessible. I would gladly give this a much much higher rating if it worked on my phone.

Updating my review here. As an avid risk player, this game is great. The online play is fantastic. My buddies and I have been playing for at least 4 years and love the simple boardgame feel of it. No fancy animations and other bs. Has an excellent feel to it.

So far, this is the only exception to my rule "neve spend money on mobile games". I've not been disappointed! Great game, lots of different maps, and the AI is much better than other similar risk_style games

Was working great but then I upgraded to Android 10 and the graphics got messed up and can't see all the options or settings when playing. Update: Works great now with the update

Excellent adaption of the game. Played the lite version for 6 months & then bit the bullet for my first paid app. Money well spent. Playing against human players totally changes the dynamics of the game. Extra maps are great too!

I would like to select the option to play with 'Rebel Uprisings' and 'Random Events' in offline mode in a future update like the original Risk computer game had in the 90s to make things more challenging. Great app anyway, been playing since the beginning. Well done DEV for creating a game that I've always loved. Thank you!

I did once give it a 5 star review, but seems it needs a little work, on my upgrade to android 10 on a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 it seems the alignment of the bottom in game menu is not displaying correctly and the touch screen doesn't always work when advancing to the next in game turn. When this gets fixed I'll happily go back to a 5 star rating as when working correctly this game is brilliant.

Would be 5 stars as i loved playing the game previously (probably sank hundreds of hrs over the past few years) but then i got this error where after i load a map, if i touch the screen the options menu isnt visible and the buttons for troop placement, attacking, etc no longer work and shift left. If this issue is ever fixed ill edit the review to 5 stars

It's OK, but seems to have bad RNG, as in just a handful of games I lost numerous times with a far superior force. Also, multiple times I've had the AI almost defeated only for them to suddenly trade cards for enough troops to completely wipe me out. Even when I have more territory and full continents, the AIs often seem to get more reinforcements than me, but hard to say if it's playing fair or not. Biggest issue is controls, constantly fortifying from the wrong territory and a PITA to switch.

I like this game quite a bit but also find it frustrating. The randomness of the die rolls being the primary issue. I just did an engagement of 16 vs 10. The attacking force lost 15 units and the defender 1. What are the odds of that? How can the game be successfully played when stuff like that happens regularly? Also, I can't play any of the vertical maps on my Galaxy s10e. Vertical maps are fixed. Thanks! Update: Author added 1:1 unit losses. Die roll issue fixed. Cool!

Play this at least once a day for the last 8 years. Great game, great job by the developers. My only complaint is that for about the last 6 months the vertical maps aren't working for me. I can place my troops but I cannot attack. The slide at the bottom of the screen only moves the map left or right. Other than that, this is a 5 star game.

It's really fun except when it decides how "probability" should work. If you don't click off of the territory you're attacking when it feels like you should lose a battle, you'll simply lose your troops to an underwhelming force. I've lost 40 troops attacking a territory held by 2 and these extreme losses are common. The game frequently gives you disadvantage for whatever reason I've yet to understand
