I have found this game completely addictive. It's an excellent brain teaser for anyone who likes crosswords and other word games. I play the game on a tablet. The regular puzzles are fine on a phone but I need more screen space for the jumbo puzzles. There are ads but you get something for them - additional coins or another hint. They are all videos that are between 5 and 30 seconds. For some games the ads take more time than the rounds of game play. That's not a problem here. I almost never do in-app purchases but I did buy the "Coin Doubler" that gives you twice the coins for each ad. It was worth it.

It's a fun game. I see other reviews talking about ads but I don't have any and honestly would prefer than at this point. You have to buy coins to get hints, and now I'm at the point that I don't have access to any puzzle packs without purchasing them. I can't spend $$ every month on this game. I'm going to use the coins I have left and be done with it.

I truly love this game. It's challenging and fun yet relaxing. I love the concept and that you can even create puzzles. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars is there are too many ads in certain aspects of the game. Also that the reward is should be bigger for completing the daily puzzles not same as others and must pay 35 coins if you want next one through the daily puzzles. It would be really nice if there was a daily reward of 25 coins or more for playing. This helps build up coins better. Thanks

I agree with everyone else. Played it a lot, but the latest update is horrendous with the ads. Previously they were there only when you wanted extras, now they are everywhere and highly obnoxious. And the developers' generic, somewhat dismissive replies about still making changes seem disingenuous... this was a purposeful update, not some accident that they just need to tweak.

I love this game. It's great but there's a few things that personally would make it better. 1 make it where you can zoom out a little further. 2 let us skip the ads at least 20 seconds in, and if not, dont send me straight to play store then make me wait another 5 seconds to close it please. Otherwise just let me change the colors and backgrounds.

I really like the concept. However, I think a "give up" option needs to be added. I wasted 65 coins to skip a puzzle which was challenging to the point of frustration, not knowing I would have to attempt to finish it later. Other than that, excellent game.

Aggressive ads install apps without permission! I've had this game on multiple devices for years, used to be a 5 star favorite. Ads have gotten really bad in many ways. They are now frequent, come in batches of 3-6 at a time requiring you to interact/manually close between each one, often opens Play Store or web pages without permission, and now the apps in the ads are suddenly appearing on my phone without me ever installing or giving permission. Who knows what else it's installing, unsafe!

This is probably one of the most "satisfying" games I've played in a long time. There's hardly any ads. The puzzles are, at times, challenging and the bonus is you can create your own puzzles to share. It's a straight forward, legit game. Not some goofy set of constant ads with a little bit of game play. Good job folks at Bonza. This should be a top rated game.

This is a well-executed and fun game marred by ludicrously high prices. There's a fair bit of free content, which is nice. Once you run out of that, you start looking for paid options, and you find that they're all surprisingly expensive (by comparison to other games.) Which is sad, because I'd like to keep playing, but I can't justify the price of a whole game for one puzzle pack.

EDITED AGAIN to say that now you have to finish each puzzle in one sitting because if you leave the app for a minute, it resets everything!! 😠EDITED to add that I guess now there's ads, and I wish the update wasn't forced through on earlier installations because I specifically chose a game with no ads.... OLD REVIEW: Great game, clear interface. Only wish is that the shuffle button for the daily puzzle should be bigger or the selection button should be smaller.

One week playing this game that is easy to pop into and out of for some mental distraction. I'm a fan of word games and puzzles and I'm enjoying this twist on the classic crossword even if it isn't quite as challenging (at least not yet). I haven't had to deal with ads yet as some have complained when getting a hint. I may update my review after seeing how that experience will be. For now 5 stars.

I came into this game a skeptic, and now I am an addict. This game is fairly repetitive in its style, but it makes up for it in sheer quantity and in being a challenging casual word puzzle. I am generally good at word games, yet I have to admit that some of the puzzles are quite challenging. The ads are optional, so don't listen to the bad reviews on that matter. If you get stuck, they give you points to spend on hints. (Or a quick look at a thesaurus 😉)

I am uninstalling this game. I have enjoyed it for months, but the recent updates have made it obnoxious. I am disappointed that there are ads after every puzzle, the show word option is 65 coins more, there is not an option to shuffle the daily puzzle anymore, and every single time I open the game I have to close the 'value offer'. Extremely disappointing, it is very difficult to find games without copious ads and this has gone the way of them.

If you enjoy crossword puzzles you'll like this. One of the best word puzzles I've seen. Don't like buying clues but realize author should be rewarded; deserves to be! However on puzzle 29 clue 'Secret' there is an error. After getting all words except 'Passage' this word would not fit anywhere. If I could have dissassembled the puzzle it might have fitted somewhere. I had 2 places where there were incomplete words so think there is a bug in the code.

They ruined this app. Before, you could watch ads for hints and coins, and with coins, you unlocked levels. I paid real money for more levels because I genuinely love this game, but now all the levels are unlocked for free, so where's my refund?? And you have to watch a 30 second ad between every single puzzle. If people weren't spending enough money, fine, give us ads, but our brains take less than 1 second to register an ad - this 30 second hostage situation before we can X out is ridiculous.

Went through 3 packs then it restarted. No directions. No explanations! Explanations aren't given in how to use help. Game is fun otherwise. The concept is fun - doing the crossword backwards. *Update* Gave it 4 stars because it is fun. The complaints about about the ads aren't accurate. There are only ads when you ask for a hint. They do often take you to the playstore. That is aggravating. But, overall a fun game. Slightly addictive. Still no instructions about the features, nor saved progress

It's usually a fun game until you have those puzzles that will contain more than one word for an answer. I really feel like that shouldn't be incorporated into a puzzle. I appreciate how you've made it harder with the hints, too. I also really hate how Christian this game is. I don't want to play puzzles that are about the new testament every puzzle pack.

Up until the most recent update, I played this app every day. Suddenly, the puzzle packs I paid for are bookended by the same ads. I played the game specifically because it was one of the few that didn't force ads down my throat. I would even pay a nominal price to keep my playtime ad free. However, I'm not going to pay for a week or a month of ad free play at a time. I'm removing this from my device. Disappointing, because the game really is enjoyable when it can be played in peace.

It's hard to find any app these days that isn't cluttered with ads. I have played this game for several hours and have not had a single ad. Why? Because they don't shove one in your face every time you complete a puzzle. In fact, you only watch ads by choice for hints. Some people are saying that everything is paylocked, but that's not true. The next puzzle unlocks if you complete the previous one and the next pack unlocks the same way. Overall I have really enjoyed playing this game. Great Job!

A very creative twist on crossword puzzles. It's challenging. But because you can move the letter blocks around, it is more visual, so you're not just in your head searching for clues. I love that there are no timers! I can simply solve it in my own time. Which is something that works with my ADHD instead of against it. I will share with friends.
