Prices are great, but thats the only feature Bolt has over the others. The pickup radius when booking is soo small that drivers over 10 minutes away you can't even book despite seeing on the map. Also the "reservations" are fake since no one actually picks up your request, when the trip time arrives they just assign a random driver regardless of distance to your trip instead of a driver himself actually picking the reservation soo its double the price for long distance normal booking lol

Ok for finding rides, but really scammy approach when it comes for ride price sometimes. Imagine you take a ride, it all goes well, no traffic, the driver took the best road, and you arrived safely. In the end, you can be charged 2x more because "there was a surge in demand while you were on the way, so we will charge you extra more after you confirmed your initial price". Also doesn't give a hint that there might be extra charges for toll/airport/etc. Also lacks "reserve a ride" feature.

3 stars because it still needs a lot of improvement, I have been disappointed quite a lot by bolt, with drivers cancelling when I already accepted the trip, then a few minutes later, it's been cancelled, having to find a new driver for over 40 min. I missed an appointment and almost missed my flight because of the inconsistency.

The app in general is good but it makes no sens to have the option schedule ride as the it can be canceled 10 minutes before the scheduled time. I almost miss one important event due to that stupid option. I understand the statement that the ride is not guaranteed but it should be only special cases otherwise this option is completely pointless. I am totally disappointed by that. I think no one thought it through.

I was a solo traveller to Tbilisi and I relied on Bolt (ensure to have data - buy a magti sim at the airport, incase you're unable to in the city). Choose the premium option (it is not expensive and is just 1/2 GEL more than the basic. I was told that the condition of the car and drivers are more reliable, when the premium option is chosen. There is a free waiting period, after which you get charged. Should you have an uncomfortable experience, ensure to leave a comment on the app.

Really terrible app! For car rides it's OK, although it can be ridiculously expensive at times (chose a different app then). BUT! For scooter/bike rides it's absolutely TERRIBLE! the app freezes and crashes constantly. first when trying to stop the ride, then when you try to take a picture, then it takes another minute or two to reload, for which you, the user, obviously continue to pay, as your ride is still ongoing and you are being massively overcharged.

Some days are good some days are bad. I have experienced a lot of issues with their add and remove stop.. I sometimes try to add a stop, a return trip usually, then the app charges me more than double. When I reverse this, because of the price, the price doesn't go back to where it was. It increases. I have fought with them previously, but it didn't help. Try not to add or remove stops if you don't want to be disappointed

Very poor service, and unreliable. The drivers will accept your ride, after waiting for around 5 minutes they go in circles in the same place then cancel your trip. Drivers are very rude when you text them. If you manage to complete your trip, they will automatically increase the fare once you arrive. It used to be a more reliable app a couple of years ago, but now it's a waste of time and unreliable

Cannot cancel or change the route while riding. What if I need to change the route if something goes wrong? There's literally no butoon to change the route or cancel the trip. And cannot point to more than one location. Being lower price than others is good but lack of functionality is so bad. Can't undo something when you make a erong choice....

It's cheaper than grab, by almost half, so it's great price wise. An issue I'm having is that my bank doesn't trust the payment system so I have to verify EVERY payment through my banking app, and by the time I do, the time for a ride has gone up. Also, the pick-up points have often been on roads where the driver can not go, which has been very annoying. Otherwise I would have given it a higher rating.

This app used to be good but with the drivers having zero penalty for dropping a ride and not been able to get a ride after 10 tries, with over 20 cars in the area. I find that drivers only want to take trips with high value but low distance. I'm going bake to Uber atleast I can get a ride without the app constantly telling me it's changed driver or looking for another driver, because they cancelled without any concerns about the person trying to get to a destination.

Very bad app, I couldn't book my a cab to the airport. I tried for an hour and gave up. 25% off coupon is not applicable to airport rides but there is no way to turn off coupon application. It adds coupon automatically. I was very close to missing my flight... Coustom support is non existent. One has to just role the dice and hope for the best. Bolt can't be used as a primary mode for transportation. One should have a back up.

Horrendously unreliable- never use this app for scheduled rides, especially if your journey is time-sensitive (such as to go catch a flight). It leads you into the the false sense that you will have someone show up- it won't. I booked my ride 3 days before I needed it for an early morning pick up, and ride was confirmed. Comes the day and it says finding a driver. It took 10 mins to tell me it couldn't find a driver and then it cancelled. Had I cancelled, I would have lost my money.

If you use the app in places where there is no alternative to Bolt then it seems to work just fine. Still you sometimes have to try to book the ride few times and watch the price to go up due to " high demand". I never use it in places where drives have choice i.e. Uber, as they usually cancel on you (probably better deal elsewhere). It also happened to me couple of times that app selected pickup point was not my location and it was off even by 400 meters.

It's a really chill app. Most drivers are actually conversational, which puts me at ease. The drivers are able to get me where I need (specific)... though one problem is the "wait duration," it may say 2 minutes, but it takes longer most times, even if there's no traffic or some sort of collision with other cars, but overall it is a wonder app, and would recommend.

The app is great when it works, however, after waiting for a ride for 10 to 15 minutes, the driver can cancel for no reason, and you are stuck waiting for another driver which can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 45 minutes for them to show up. On top of that it charges you for booking a ride, and yet 100% of the remaining payment doesn't go to the driver. The pricing is also confusing, because drivers will call you to renegotiate cost due to difficulty of the path driven, or cancel your booking

This app is useful but very dangerous. They give the drivers your real phone number, not a connecting number like other rideshare apps. They can and will call you later, especially if you're a woman. If you have a dispute or they try to extort you during your ride, they have your real number so they can harass you and find you later. Drivers can cancel the ride after they've picked you up and without telling you. That's happened several times. Other comments are accurate.

Their scooter rental service is really useful. And their payment system works without any muss or fuss (email billing shows that the prices match with what they claim their prices should be). And in good weather, you can sometimes get where you need to go faster than requesting a driver... and for less money. (especially in the center of town, like Porto or Lisbon)

I was traveling with two other women and we had a very pleasant experience with Bolt. We got lost in Budapest and requested a ride-- 3 minutes later our driver arrived and immediately jumped out to help us with our luggage. The ride was extremely fast, smooth and professional. I'm not sure where all these negative experiences are from because I will definitely be utilizing Bolt again.

It was a great app until: 1.I had a driver refuse to pick us up. He never came. To the location. Just kept driving out the way and the translation in the chat did not make sense. 2.I had a driver ask for a different price, which we agreed, then decided to change the vehicle with a different license plate. 3. At the end of the ride the price randomly increased. It was the same during the entire trip, when I opened the app at the end of the trip it was the same then suddenly changed.
