Very, very easy to setup. Has lots of functions for a novice like me. I currently have a check engine light on. It gives error number and the error. It tells you if it has a scale of if it's a common or uncommon error. It gives detailed reports of the errors. It also gives you a plethora of reading for your car while it's running. I have a 2003 chevy tahoe. This device is fantastic and worth the money.

This is the best scan tool for someone new to mechanics. After losing my job, I was in a low point and kept busy learning about cars. That just added to depression and relationship issues. I felt I couldn't do anything. I ended up researching Bluetooth scan tools and decided to go with this, mainly because of the NO MONTHLY SUB. It helped me solve problems by going through each technical issue, and just cancelling out. It helped me realize I am not an idiot. Just need the right tool. Thanks!

Very polished and elegant app, works well with many common cars, the Bluedriver adapter itself is well-constructed. Using the app is easy and does not require a high level tech knowledge. It can read a comprehensive list of OBD modules. The only improvement I'd suggest is to enhance the live data section further than just basic parameters like RPM, coolant temp and speed. This will please many car enthusiasts in monitoring their car performance.

$avings Galore!! I bought the bluedriver scan tool about a year ago, and it's already paid for itself several times over. I have always worked on my own cars, but with technology advancing faster than my skills I had gotten to the point where I didn't like working on them any longer. then I bought the bluedriver scan tool and enjoy working on my vehicles once again. plus, I save a ton of c@$h!! stop thinking about it and go get one! you won't be sorry.

You can only change live data settings in portrait mode. I have this app installed on an android car radio, there is no portrait mode. I got this sensor specifically so I could have live data on my radio. I'll update my review if they fix this. It's a pretty ridiculous requirement when they could just put live data settings with the rest of the settings. Update: I contacted support and they said they are planning to fix this issue with new updates.

The only issue I had with using this OBDII reader is that the first app I downloaded was not the right one. It was a BlueDriver app of less than 14 MB. Device would not pair, regardless of what I did. Deleted and re-insalled the app. Second app is over 50 MB. It is the correct one, and everything works as advertised. Excellent tool. I highly recommend it...

Great tool. Lots of info and allowed me to clear the "Service Stability System" on the wife's Cadillac. Knock off a star because it doesn't turn the blue tooth off when you exit. Update 9/16/22, this tool has saved me thousands over the years! It has more than paid for itself. I've even used it on friends and family's cars to save then money. This is the best scan tool you can find for under $150 hands down. I like that it even shows you options to fix the problem.

Best money I ever spent. The dealer tried to screw me over with their 'factory' scanner nonsense finding 'problems' that did not exist , but BlueDriver saved me thousands. I tracked down an intermittent loss of power that wouldn't trigger the CEL. This product allowed me to do a roadside scan and caught it in the act! A quick trip to an independent mechanic and problem solved 😀

Great device, couldn't give it 5 stars because it does not check everything. Doesn't check tires sensors or camera systems, also wish it was able to program codes but its not that type of scan tool. This is still good to check for system issues with possible fixes just don't expect it to do everything.

Piece of Junk that does not work half the time. When it actually connects, it's great. But at least half or more of the times I've tried to use it over the last year or so, it won't connect to any Bluetooth device I own. It just flashes red and then closes the app. Then after about a thousand tries it randomly will connect for a little bit only. Total waste of money.

Absolutely love this code reader! I've used it on various cars and trucks and I've always been able to quickly find or understand a problem without having to ask the internet pointless questions. Being able to compare and order parts based on the BlueDriver has saved me hours of searching. I've recommended this little guy to tons of friends and even bought my muscle car enthusiast pa one! He uses it frequently to help his older truck up and running!

Good for a lot of stuff BUT!!! I got it because it's supposed to do live data which it does as long as you're not needing transmission temp to do a transmission fluid change on a car with no dipstick. Wasted my money cause that's what I needed. I don't see where it graphs any data either and is not compatible with third-party software.

Buggy - 4 updates needed in less than 24 hours, and won't stay connected to the vehicle. In order to pull some codes and do some (7 mins) data logging, I've had to unplug and re-plug this from the OBD2 port about 15 times to keep the connection. My favorite feature is the "?" instead of an actual code. To be fair, it did initially read and erase the codes. I hope that the next firmware update makes things better.

Works well with nice graphing of sensor readings. To make it perfect, I would like to make the following enhacements; 1) a way to rearrange the order of the live data readings, right now they get sorted from the order they get picked, but it would be nice to be able to drag and drop where desired. 2) a way to create 2 or 3 sets of preferred live data readings, right now, if one wants to switch to another set of readings, old ones need to get unchecked and new ones checked, which takes time.

I haven't had the issues I reported in an older review lately, so I'm revising to 5 stars. More of a 4.7 but can't do that. 😆 This scanner and app are great. My only remaining gripe is that (at least in portrait layout - I don't use it in landscape) many of the live data graphs don't scale properly and just look like flat lines, but it's not a big deal because the correct data is still actually there. Just kinda makes them more visual noise than actually useful.

On the first couple uses it's been great. Tho, I ran it a few times just to play around with it and familiarize myself with the device and the settings, and each time I ran a full code check it would give me more and more codes. It eventually didn't add anymore, but I'm not sure if this will be a consistent issue or if it is something I'll have to keep in mind going forward. There is so much this little scanner can do tho. It is very impressive.

I love using this app to solve issues faster on my vehicle, but I have a small issue with the app itself. It doesn't provide enough information for me to accurately diagnose a problem with pistons and which sparkplug is actively misfiring on a live chart. Sure, I could go spend over a thousand dollars for one, but it would definitely be cool to see a more upgraded version of this device. Even if it costs a little more, I wouldn't even be mad. I've been using this since 2020, and it's been good.
