A fine game. Has the things you see in typical gacha games, but what really makes it stand out to me is the combat system. All battles are fully rendered in 3D, and although battles are (mostly) automated, the dynamic AI and the cover system make each one quite enjoyable to watch. I am unsure about pay-to-win, but I haven't spent anything yet, and I'm quite pleased with where I am right now (May buy something later, though, to support the devs. <3).

Server connection/speed issues and time-wasting transitions. Too often does the game force me to wait while it finishes working with servers or I have to watch a fade-out-in just for one UI to popup. Best example is when I return to the main screen--every time in the bottom right it tells me it's loading and I could be waiting for 10 seconds. Literally everything returns to the home screen, so I wait 10 seconds every time. This game feels the slowest out of all my mobile games.

The game is fun and as you get to the higher levels it gets a lot more involved. Graphics are nice. Characters are funny. The main issue is tactical challenge and slow leveling. Tactical challenge is the pvp in the game and it is garbage. Tactical is not a good name for it because it auto plays, meaning you don't get to decide on anything besides who goes in and who you fight. You are a spectator. Also, leveling gets slow later meaning you're barred from the story for a while.

Didn't really know what to expect from this game, but I'm really enjoying it so far! The presentation is great. The whole package looks very slick, from the menus, to the art, and especially the music. Re-roll process is straightforward and you got a lot of rolls upfront, which is nice. And we already got some of the quality of life improvements that JP had to wait months for. A good launch so far. Only complaint from me is that navigating menus feels a bit sluggish and load times are a bit long, and there are some framerate drops during combat. It runs well overall, but people with older phones won't have a perfectly smooth experience.

Updated review following the last update - the game performs MUCH better. It's buttery smooth and in my mind is the new golden standard for how fast games can be. Well done! My experience with the abysmal drop rates for materials still stands and it's been this way since launch. If BA didn't have frequent events to make up for it, I would've quit long ago. However, even during these events, you can still just get stuck with *more* bad mats since the gold/purple stuff still isn't dropping.

I find the laid-back atmosphere of the game and story to be a nice change of pace and entertaining. The character designs and art are top notch and the 3D chibis are a nice addition. The gameplay is quite fun and intricate. Having the skip option for farming makes life much easier while you still get to actually play regularly with events, new stages, and raid. Overall, a very chill game. However, I find the heavy RNG aspect to gameplay offputting. Good game, but not revolutionary.

Could need a bit of extra work. Game: For being a strategy game, it kind of hits the mark. I would say where the girls feel like moving to can be a little bit of RNG. If ur lucky, all the girls might not be killed before the end of the level. Graphics: Definitly could use a little bit of improvement. The 3D aspect of the game is nice, but it slows down the loading process. 2D specials looks choppy. Overall, if you are new. Right about level 30-40 it gets harder to progress into the game.

Blue Archive, to me, has become a daily game to relax and play. The story it tells is nice and engaging, and the game play, through grinding, makes it satisfying when your efforts are rewarded. ------- I have been playing this game for a few months- enough to where I have made it to Lvl 72. The process is long, and there are only more levels to be released. In the recent update though, the game frequently crashes within seconds of opening the app. I have a Samsung Galaxy S22+ so I am confused.

Well it is a fun game nice art and auto battles and no need to grind stages for the most part. It really feels like they need to raise the cap for energy for battles. Don't always rely on auto battles, the AI at times tends to release the skills at bad times. My other biggest gripe is. If you want do the story(s) they game have, which are good. You have to unlock it going through missions. It just stalls hard. I wouldn't mind if it was tied to player level. Or at least lower the levels rec a bit

Very cute game! A cool thing when you start playing for the first time is that it has section that is essentially the tutorial while the game downloads in the background so you don't have to wait a long time to download the game. The battles are mostly automatic with the exception of and directing ultimate skills and even then you can just use Auto and game automatically do it. The "romance" in the game is essentially a way to learn more about a character other than the bio.

This is a hard one to place. The gameplay is fun, albeit very repetitive. The characters move around randomly when they move, and they don't always go to an optimal spot, which sucks. The rates are fine, and you do get rewarded adequately for summoning dupes of characters. All the characters have their own unique charm. My major gripes with this would be that progression starts to get really slow because your characters max levels are determined by your level, which goes up a lot slower later.

I love the quality of this game. Generous with the premium currency, grinding is minimal, fast and snappy, levels are challenging, collecting and upgrading characters is always satisfying. Graphics are amazing too, though it might heat up your phone. It's hard finding another gacha game to play on the side, because this one sets the bar way too high. 3D models and good music.

The game is incredible in every aspect, BUT I have issues with the account/sensei leveling system. It's very important to level up in this game, and I find that it's such a long, long process that I have almost quit 2 times already. I keep coming back for everything else, though. (Story and students are top tier) They are also way more generous with the premium currency than before, which is great!

Blue Archive definitely gives a more refreshing style of gameplay. The characters are adorable; also voiced by some very popular voice actresses. The story in particular keeps me immersed and entertained. Edit: Been playing for a year now, and I've reached level 87. The game is 100% F2P friendly (though I spent a little). I can assure those who are thinking of playing that everything about Blue Archive is amazing. Don't think. Just download and experience it for yourselves! 10/10

I love this game, the characters, the story, and the gameplay. The problem is that I haven't been able to get on for the past 2 months because of a glich. When launching the game at the loading screen, the game will always crash. I've tried everything clearing cache restarting my phone and deleting and reinstalling. Please fix this problem it's been like this for a good while now, and I missed the last event. I don't want to lose out on this up and coming event.

The story, both main and events, was superb at every moment. The auto gameplay felt simple but enjoyable at times activating/watching character ults. However, ever since the newest update, I can no longer play as the game will always crash on startups even when I try to reinstall and clear caches. Which is kind of terrible as I already spent a lot on this game.

One of the better gacha games out there. The art style is super clean, the gameplay is surprisingly satisfying and cool. You can tell they put a lot of effort into the 3d aspects. I don't know much about the level up system, but it looks a little complicated idk. My only problems with it are lag. 💀

The grindiest mobile game I've ever played. On the first day you'll enjoy the animations of combat, and directing combat abilities, but the game quickly abandons that. Stages become these weird, inconsistent "puzzles" that matter more than combat itself, the story is separate from the campaign, leveling and upgrading characters is laughably slow and clunky, and your daily tasks simply become sifting through a dozen modes and quick-farming them. It takes forever, it's boring, it's not worth it.

I've had ups and downs with this game but finally settled on a 3/5. The story is one of the best from any mobile game I've ever played. The characters and voices are phenomenal. However the gameplay and bosses aren't balanced at all. There's a bad difficulty tier spike in raids and drills. One you can literally do on auto without even looking at your phone and the next level up you'll struggle to even survive unless rng gives you the critical hits you need. I still play, but it could be better.

I love thing game, it's designs, combat, and enjoyable relationship stories with your students. I did experience crashing issues. I found out that when I'm connected to my home wifi, the game crashes when it tries loading it from the press to start screen when you open the game. When I switched to my Verizon data, I was able to play perfectly fine. My router's service provider is also Verizon so I hope that issue can be explained and or fixed in the future. Love the game otherwise.
