I've loved the app up until last week. It stopped allowing me to snooze tasks, and it has also stopped notifying me when I'm late watering or fertilizing plants. The reminder just disappears. And on top of that, I have to recalculate the water amount for each plant before it will give me the box to check a plant off as watered.... But even then, not all plants will show a box to check no matter what. They said last week that they're working on fixing it, but it still hasn't been fixed.

Excited at first..... I paid for a year subscription as I needed a way to help maintain my plants schedule as I have close to fifty. At first this app was wonderful. Everything I needed...now the boxes don't show up for watering, the tasks disappear even if not completed. I honestly would just delete it due to these issues had I not already paid for the entire year. I'm just hoping it gets fixed and I didn't waste the money.

A lot of good, but very basic information that nearly killed my plants. Volumetric calculation for watering alone is not great. I tried to stick with it for a while, but my plants are wilting and my VWM is constantly depleting in my medium before the app says it should be watered. I fiddled with the days and amount of water, but that defeats the purpose of the app if I am doing it myself. More environmental input options should be included to better manage watering.

App used to work great, but recently has been having issues. If you do not water the plant exactly on the predicted schedule, you cannot mark it as watered without resetting the schedule entirely, which defeats the purpose for me. It has been this way for at least the past week or two. Will most likely switch to another app because of this :(

The most recent update(s) have resulted in this app being almost completely useless. The reminders aren't resetting properly, marking a plant as watered is clunky, and delaying a reminder seems to not do anything anymore. Further, the "upcoming" reminders tab no longer shows any watering scheduled. This entire feature just seems to have completely stopped working.

Paid $3.99 for a trail subscription and spent an hour on the app. It's basically (from what I can tell) a glorified watering reminder. You can only add 2 plants (without paying more) and the diagnosis function is generalized. Depending on the picture you take, accesses different info from the database. It could be overwater or underwater or insects for the same plant. "Ask a botanist" is $25 (more than my little plant!) Now I have to figure out how to cancel the auto-renew. Caveat emptor!

Update:(6/16/23) the app seems to have resolved its issue and working properly again. I'm glad to keep my plants on track and alive. 5/15/23: This app was great in the beginning so I paid for the year. Now it has bugs and the reminders to fertilize and water turn themselves off and I'll miss days. I have to check each plant individually and ive got too many, such a waste.

Only 2 plants can be added for free. I would buy it if you could buy it but I'm not renting an app that, gets my info, shares it with third parties, expects me to rent indefinitely to use it and charges automatically until I stop it manually which I'm not even interested in finding out what kind of hurdles I have to go through for a cancellation. Also, they have a timer to push you into renting it at a "special" price for a limited time.

Edit: Now I can no longer add pictures to the app. Will be canceling my subscription! Original: It's been over 6 months and I'm still unable to sync my data in this app! Hasn't synced since I first downloaded the app. Unfortunately none of the suggestions that were given to me by customer support were helpful in resolving the issue. I have information for close to 80 plants stored in the app and I'm worried that without being able to sync this data, I'm going to lose all of it!

It worked great for several months then started to fail. It loses photos. It fails yo send reminders. It sends a reminder but without the check box to mark it complete. It is an assortment of inconsistent failures and changes. I replace a photo of my plant and it is gone the next day, Ora week later. No rhyme or reason. I reached out to support and got zero helpful insight. It sort of works for plant Id, but I wouldn't trust it at this point. Currently shopping for a better tool.

Overall good app, I have been using it for over a year. Very helpful for managing larger plant collections especially. There is one major bug that seems to persist. Sometimes when I mark plants as "watered", I'll see them on the list the next day and no record of the previous event. I have one plant that shows "30 days overdue" although I am 100% certain it has been watered and checked at least twice during the last 30 days. 3 stars given the reminder schedule is a major component of the app

At first this app was nice to keep track of all my plants progress. The app is now crashing constantly. It's always freezing when im trying to check off watering to do list. It's cleared every photo off of each plant profile. I took a photo with every new plant to keep track of growth so I'm super sad about losing these photos. I'm very disappointed in how this app has been performing over these last few months. Not renewing my subscription. Do not purchase! Waste of money!

I thought it was really great until I tried to diagnose my sick plants. All it told me on them was under/over watered. I wanted to try this app because it had great reviews but my old app would tell me if it had an abiotic or biotic issuse and more. I rescued multiple plants with it. I paid for this app and still had to watch ads. Very unsatisfied, want my money back.

It's a neat app, but with one major issue: it doesn't send me any notifications for when I need to water my plants. And considering I paid for this app, that's a big issue. And yes, I have indeed checked the apps settings. The notifications are ON. All permissions have been allowed. Yet the app doesn't notify me anymore (it used to!)

5/5/24 Constantly glitches freezes and closes. Kind of a bummer because I have the paid subscription. I was hoping updates would fix this, but nope. This has been happening since January 2024. I've uninstalled/reinstalled the app, cleared caches, force stopped/restarted the app, etc. Disappointed that I paid for this. Pixel 6 Pro Android v. 14

Eta: 4/2/2024- I really loved this app, and found it super helpful for keeping all of my plants watered. Unfortunately, there was some update that caused all of the plants to refuse to sync from one phone to another. I had more than 40 plants listed, and now that I've upgraded my phone, apparently I have to add all of them back in again? Also, frustrating is when I had to use my backup iPhone for a week, I was unable to log into the blossom app, despite the fact that I sign in using Gmail.

This app is so buggy, I'm growing to hate it. Randomly, some of my plants doubled. When I delete the extras, they show up again. Also, there should be more ability to customize when they're watered/fertilized and manipulating the slide to make the pot is absolutely RIDICULOUS. It's horrible, I can never get it just right...exactly WHAT would be so hard about writing in the pot size? Definitely will not be renewing my subscription and looking for a better plant app.

It's a great app and has helped me keep over a dozen plants thriving for a could years now where I could barely manage 3 before! But it's been crashing almost constantly for the last few weeks and has sadly become nearly unusable. I want to reinstall but I'm afraid I'll lose most of my recent data...it says the last sync was over a month ago and it doesn't respond to pressing the button to sync. Please fix this awesome app!

I wanted to give this review a higher rating due to my longevity of using this app for a couple years now, and also for how good the performance used to be. Lately however, there are so many issues where the app is constantly lagging and closing. It also no longer automatically sends care reminders. The reminders only occur if you open the app (previously, the reminders would come as set without needing to open the app). It's extremely disappointing considering I have the paid subscription.

This app has a lot of potential. However, there's still a lot of work needed to be done in order for this app to obtain optimal utilization for success. I've noticed inaccurate diagnosis, which happens quite frequently when diagnosing the plants via picture followed by the same questions soon after. Which is either overwatering or underwatering my plants, in which case, is not the issue. The issue I've been facing are miners aka microscopic mites and aphids. That said, don't bother with that!
