Starting with the positives, the game is addicting and I love the constant new challenges. I am glad to see active updates. A word to the developers is to get rid of the purple balloon spam send, most towers can not keep up and it causes a fast loss on most of matches. Other balloon sends are great as is, although look into DDT spam at early rounds, it's an instant kill method. Even though the super monkey can kill it, using the dark power is hard due to tiny circle to tap.

I had fun, I'll be honest. The first bit of my experience was enjoyable. But I cannot tolerate the lag for a pretty non-demanding game. On top of that I had just started running into an issue I'd like to call "syncing". The game tries to tell me its syncing something, after which I end up losing at full health without even being able to play the game. Keep in mind here, the game was going on, sounds and music still played. The game has potential but its begging. For cash and for performance.

Edit: Long time Bloons player. I do love this game but it's really hard not to hate it even more. It has improved since its release, but the biggest issue is the other players. The game is too fast paced now. Everyone sends too much, too soon. I just want a late game and those are very very hard to come by now. They recently added my ultimate favorite game mode: Play with Fire. Slightly disappointing because once you get 75 stars there is no benefit to continue to play that mode besides winning

An UNBELIEVABLE amount of ads. Every time I attempt to start a match, a new 30 second ad pops up. Not only this, but sometimes the ad will completely exit my match queue or glitch and say I'm in the match, and when I exit the ad it counts as a loss. The ads really bug me, and I think it needs to be toned down a lot. I get it's how you make money on a free game, but there's so many in-app purchases along with the unruly amount of ads that it just isn't necessary. You make enough money off of BTD6

Essentially, it's battles 1 with BTD 6 towers and a better system for sending Bloons. The biggest issue is how long it takes to earn XP for towers: I'd love to experiment with various strategies, but all towers start at 2-2-2 and it can take up to ten games just to get a t3 on a tower. And it's nearly impossible to win without a couple t4 towers once you get past around 30 trophies. However, there is incredible potential if these issues get addressed.

My phone has never had an issue running any games, it's pretty strong by most standards... Except for this game, it's pretty laggy. It's just an intense game with lots of individual entities that can't be processed properly all at once. It's a very fun game! Obviously micro transactions but those are no biggy and they aren't too pushy at all, very good.

It's a great step up from battles 1, finally in the style of btd6, but it's near impossible to win sometimes, on account of how extremely hard it is to get xp. Almost every match there's someone with a maxed out tack shooter or maxed out dartling gunner. The game would be so much better if it was easier to obtain more than an average of 100 to 200 xp per game. Another issue is it takes too long to get battle points, so you constantly have to discard new chests when you get them.

It's definitely fun, but I feel people want to end the match as soon as possible, which is fine, but I feel there are ways to steer people away from this as it takes some of the fun out of the game. I think adding a time bonus (one that does more than just exp) into the game, and adding back the late game emote. I also experienced a bug/hacker that lost no lives when a balloon went through their exit.

This game is so fun and addictive! Played the first btd battles on laptop and was hooked. The reason I cant give five stars, is due to the fact of crashing and freezing. Every 4 matches or so the game will just crash in the middle of a match. Sometimes the game will also freeze on the VS screen before a match. I believe this game could be one of the best btds yet, just needs a little love. Overall the game is still to fun not to play!

(Edited to 5* because the disconnection issue seems to be fixed).... I've played a TON of the first BTD Battles, for many years. So I was very excited when I learned that the sequel had come out. Pretty cool how it's got the art style and monkeys of BTD 6. I really enjoy this game, my only issue is that fairly often the game will crash during a match and there's no way to get back into the match. I wouldn't mind the crashing if upon re-opening the app it would search for an active match.

Buggy mess at the moment, but it's fun if you get a game. - Having to re-download content you already have - Missing textures at the main menu - Bloon sends "locking" at a full queue By the way, I don't mind the XP grind (I even find it cool!), but I DO mind that it'll likely result in little variety in tower selections, as the main way to level up towers is to use them, discouraging using other, low level towers because you will lose with them. Hopefully the bugs and issues will be fixed!

The game itself is good but there are a couple of bugs that need to be addressed to improve the experience. Firstly, every single time I finish a battle, the game crashes and starts loading again, it tells me connection could not be established try again, when I click try again it loads. I assure you that my internet is good. The second bug happens when I don't play the game for a few hours and log back in it has me redownloading new content even though I just downloaded it last time I played.

The mobile version of this game is very irritating. It always crashes if you go into late game, and you always lag a lot starting in the middle of a game. Also, you have to watch ads to get any rewards, but if you use the steam version then you just automatically get most of those rewards. I would highly recommend getting the pc version, it's also free, but there is a lot less lag and no ads.

I loved this game! It was challenging and rewarding and something different. Since the recent update at the beginning of February though, it has been dysfunctional. It won't let me leave the chests page unless I discard one or open one I have. My friend and I also cannot play against each other longer than round 20 without one of us having to "surrender due to connection problems." I will play online multiplayer and be just fine through sudden death into round 40s. Unfortunate.

I really like it. I was a big fan of the original, but had my gripes. Almost everything I disliked about the original has been changed or removed. There is a problem with experience being slow to get, but watching ads or getting a vip pass can help. I don't even find it that bad considering it plays like BTD6, which I did low upgrade hard runs on, which carry over perfectly to here. Overall, perfect for me, combining my 2 favorite BTD games.

The game is amazing, very few complaints. Actually one: please fix the connection system. The current one is extremely infuriating. If your connection cuts out for even one moment, or is so much as subpar for one moment, the game instantly kicks you out of the match for having a bad connection and you lose the match, and you lose trophies. Please make it more like battles one, where you get 30 seconds for it to reconnect before losing. I'd prefer that 100 times over. Then this game gets 5 stars.

All-round, it's a pretty damn good experience. I played bloons ever since 2nd grade and out of all the games, I thought Battles was the best. (BTD6 is also my favorite) Battles 2 is great sequel but it does need some fixing. Constant syncing problems and a few bugs that are not necessarily game breaking. I do find it to be more slower paced than the first game but that's me nitpicking. Nonetheless, I am enjoying my time with the game. It was worth the wait.

An amazing game with a fatal flaw. I absolutely love btd6 and btd battles, so the two combined should be super fun. But unfortunately the xp grind is making the game very dull, as i am stuck placing a ton of low level towers instead of the myriad of strategies and upgrades that make the series so replayable. I understand that players shouldnt have access to every upgrade right away, but this is dreadfully slow... the xp system discourages experimenting with different combos.

Good game, and they took strides to make the grinding better. Still a lot more microtransactions compared to the original, which is understandable, but I also randomly get disconnected from matches, causing me to lose, even though my wifi is perfectly fine. If both of these get touched up on again, I'd recommend it to everyone for a fun, competitive tower defense game. The current issues unfortunately hold the game back from that point right now

Great game. Btd 6 graphics and heroes. And it's free. Not many ads at all. I do watch a lot of ads to get boosters and stuff, but it's worth it. Syncing issue kinda annoying but it used to be way worse. I barely see it now. 1 bad thing about it: either the price on heroes/towers or the amount of monkey money u make. Very grindy. Still a great game.
