This game is super consumer friendly! There is no energy system so you can play to your hearts content whenever you want! You can make in app purchases and watch ads, but they do little to nothing to helping you on your journey. The greatest thing about this game however is the art. The art style on its own is good. But I am talking about the Levels. They make cool patterns with the Bloons, like Airplanes, Helicopters, birds, rain and rain clouds. And that is just in the first 10 levels.

I'm very pleased with my experience of this game so far! I loved the general formula of BSM2 the flash game, but found myself driven away by the level of grinding necessary in that game. This version maintains all of the positive marks and gameplay while killing the grinding necessary and maintaining momentum and progression exceptionally well! The new art direction is also very slick and nice. Overall, a wonderful game and one that I don't see myself regretting my time investment on!

I'm updating my review based on additional playtime. This game starts out as a fun top-down flying shooter. Controls aren't great (really don't like how the Super Monkey flies to where you tap on the screen, would have preferred relative controls instead), but the increasingly powerful weapon upgrades negate the poor controls for the first part of the game where you can just power through the levels with screens full of projectiles. Unfortunately, about halfway through the game the microtransaction game model rears its ugly head with the need to start using more and more of the consumable boosts and expensive high-tier weapons to get past the more frequent bosses which results in a LOT of grinding (unless you pay real money for microtransactions). This, combined with the previously mentioned poor controls and new game mechanics that require precision flying to avoid objects on the screen (with no accompanying consumable boost to negate it) and the game quickly becomes more tedious than fun for many of the levels. I'm currently stuck on the final boss, which seems to require maxed-out upgrades to even pass (not to mention get a decent medal on).

Entertaining, but has its issues. The character switching is very flawed, because sometimes I am moving around near the bottom of the screen, ot pushups up the home buttons, which obstruct the character switch. In early game, it can block abilities. Bloptanium is often annoying, espically if the level designs it to be undodgable. Taping to use epic powers is difficult, and often takes several presses, which is bad if I am trying to pop bloons, as they may already have left the screen.

I've played BTD since it very first came out, and I've always appreciated that if the app was free, it also wasn't loaded down with ads. You could watch ads if you needed some bonuses, but now suddenly, every couple rounds, I'm forced to wait through an ad before I can continue to play the game. Not sure why the sudden change other than a cash grab, which is really disappointing from a developer who has avoided doing that for so long...

Very great game, love everything but can be a bit grindy at times. I do have one problem though, and that is that i cant watch any ads, whether its optional or not. Cant watch them for double rewards or speeding up research time. Only way to fix the problem is to redownload the app, but this is only a temporary fix. I will rate five star if the devs fix this, thanks.

The game is fun, but not as good as the original I played on school computers. Issues: Some levels, bloons come up from the bottom, explode into more bloons when hit, some of which appear already off screen and void a diamond clear, it's almost unavoidable when there's a ton of bullets on screen. This is bad level design. My other problem is with the reward doubler. Many times it will tell me there's no ad available to double, and then show me an ad before the next level.

Amazing game full of fun, customization, and a great sense of progression. However, it would be a huge increase to the "quality of life" of the game to increase the size of buttons such as the pause button and actives (in the lower left). Also, as someone who uses their left thumb to control super monkey, I would appreciate an option to swap active abilities to the right side of the screen.

It's pretty fun. Upgrading the weapons is cool, and the levels are actually fun too. Until the disappearing balloons appear on the ice levels. I just don't plan on memorizing where the disappearing balloons are to get the diamond or gold rating. That part is not fun and got this game uninstalled. Invisible enemies...so creative.

I've got one main problem with the game and it's the ad system. Randomly there will be long 30 second ads that you can't skip and automatically takes you to the game that's being advertised whether you click it or not and most of the time the rewarded ads you can get after levels don't work. So clearly there isn't a problem with loading in ads, just actually rewarding players for opting to watch the long 30 second ads. I usually don't care, but it's the fact the 2 situations exist simultaneously

scroll shooter set in bloons tower defense universe. pretty satisfying and is NOT super ad heavy. gives a good reason for replayability and powerups are easy to come by. at the end of each level you can choose to watch an ad for double the points and powerups, which is well worth it. most apps just throw ads at you for nothing, while this one rewards you for it.

I really love this game. It's action packed, fun, and a great time consumer. I love how the ads are very limited, but there is one reason I rated this game 4 instead of 5 stars. That problem is that whenever I complete a level, and I open my crates, I can get good stuff. That said good stuff can be doubled by watching an ad, but everytime I go to watch it, no ads can be found. Please fix this flaw but if you can't then I understand. Either way, great game.

Love franchise, hate ads. Blooms has been and continues to be my all time favorite gaming franchise. However, this game forces you to watch ads and I hate that. I get choosing to watch ads to be able to get certain items, to boost points or to get any advantage, but forcing me to watch an ad just to play the next level? Nope, that sucks and that is exactly what this game does.

incredibly fun and addictive. Definitely worth $0.99 and then some. Graphics are awesome, controls are perfectly intuitive and easy, progression is balanced and fair (it feels like you've earned what you unlock, without it being too much of a grind), the weapon variety is decent (could do with a couple more weapons, but overall there's plenty to keep you entertained and keep the game play fresh). All-in-all this is a fantastic game and a wonderful spinoff from the Bloons Tower Defence series.

The game plays fine and doesn't pressure user into spending money. However, the control can use some tweaking, skills are hard to access when your cursor is being pushed around by balloons. There is also no preview, so stage memorization is necessary to get good score, especially when some balloon pops in the corner then immediately flies out of screen, impossible to foresee.

Its a rather simple but fun game, it has ads but instead of annoying ads they can be godsend. It runs rather smooth even though my phone is really bad. And the variety in weaponry, looks, abilities, etc. Makes the entire thing even more interesting. Ive had the game a few months now and ive only ever had a few problems, better than most apps can say

Five stars all around! Fantastic sequel to a trilogy (yes, trilogy, most people don't know of the very first game, it was flash lol)! The graphics are crystal clear and I love it! The controls are as simple as they always have been, and the gameplay is AMAZING!!! The puzzle-like aspect of bloon formations adds a familiar and yet new challenge to play with! Also, I accidentally got an achievement that gave me 400k cash on both sides so I was overpowered by level 3. Somehow. But that was luck. GG

Huge improvement on the first one in terms of replayablity. Really enjoy the multiple character options as well as the weapon combinations. However, I must deduct a star for the occasional forced ad, and for the micro transactions. I would definitely recommend playing this as it has some great fun and quick levels for when you need to kill some time.

Overall, I give this game a 5/5. I like the fact that it is different than other arcade shooters with the fact that enemies have stages of health. Even though I find the grinding for blops excessive, Gold Rush and Hidden Treasure works like a charm to fix that. The controls are very simple and easy to understand. The story is somewhat smooth and makes sense. The music used in the game is phenomenal. The graphics of the game are amazing, while not lagging my device at all.

I love this game, really. Even tried watching an Ad after a stage, but when I did, it took me to a blank screen and for some reason crashed the game. I didn't lose my progress, but crashing ads is probably my only pic about it. Well, Another thing is that it isn't exactly beginner friendly, but they don't bother you with "please buy this" or "please buy that" they leave it to you as an option...in fact, the whole game after the tutorial is all your choice. Just the ad crashes. Fix them, please.
