Fun until the 40's- then the scam starts. The 40s are when the game becomes pay to win with levels that you can't make any progress in unless you have power ups. It is designed this way. If you want more monkeys, it's an ad. Powerups are purchasable, and much more reliable/do more than the 3 monkeys you would watch an ad for. You get a 'hot streak' for beating levels. Another scam. Before the 40s a hot streak is easy to keep. Past level 40 the only way to keep it after inevitably losing is $.

You get through all exciting new content within the first hour or so, after that it just becomes rather tedious. Not to mention, ads have finally made their way into bloons games. Though some are optional, you are forced to sit through a few 15-30 second ads which mixed with an already mediocre playing experience is just aggravating for the player. All in all it's a cool game with little content/variability with the annoyance of ads. Disappointing for what usually are such fun games.

There's a lot to like about this game. While I do not have that much experience with the original Bloons, this seems to adapt its original gameplay into a modern environment very well. Each monkey and hero feels appropriately unique and satisfying to use, and their cosmetic options add a whole lot of extra charm. My only major complaint is that I'm forcibly redirected to the app store EVERY GODDAMN TIME a wordscapes ad plays, which adds some irritating interruptions to an otherwise fun time.

I like Bloons Pop, and it's a mostly positive experience. I enjoy the Bloons world, and this variation is a nice addition. I say mostly, because I do see potential problems. Some of the levels are impossible with the provided number of monkeys. Forcing you to use power ups and watch ads for enough monkeys can go too far if not handled correctly. I'm concerned that it could become a pay to win game, but I'm not far enough into it to know if that's the case. I'm cautiously optimistic.

The gameplay is fun and the implementation of all the different heroes, bloons, and monkeys is perfect. The music and artstyle is great as well. But RNG can prevent you from getting far on some levels. It would be better if per level there is a certain composition of monkeys or you can select a particular hero to recharge. It might be a problem with my hardware but my game crashes which is painful when I am currently playing a level as it will get rid of a life. Pretty good game so far though!

Unique, lots of fun, and satisfying as well. It has a ton of potential but falls just a little short. The base-building mechanics are a little weird and not very useful. It would be amazing if you could upgrade your monkeys, choose perks and skills, or otherwise have some form of progression or leveling. Instead the levels just get harder and your monkeys basically stay the same. Great concept though. Maybe they could add all of this if they make a sequel.

I'm torn. On one hand its a unique spin on the bloons series using gravity mechanics. On the other, it's yet another stupid Candy crush con designed to swindle the money out of parents' credit card, with an infuriating problem of bloons getting stuck near the top of the screen as a result of being gravity based, and most monkeys' attacks are terribly equipped for that kind of thing, and the ones that are well equipped are highly dependant on bad seeking AI (or is sniper).

The game mechanics are great, but the game as a whole is still pretty incomplete. The level designs, especially past level 40, are all over the place, with levels in the 50s being harder than levels in the 80s. Some levels are virtually impossible unless you watch ads or use power ups. But once all these issues are worked out, this game has tons of potential for the future, and is really quite enjoyable.

The game is a very good chill game. my biggest complaint is that when you complete a level it gives you the option to watch an ad for extra rewards. This would be fine except for the fact that if you choose to not watch an ad it will (most of the time) still force you to watch an ad. Even this isn't too bad if they were 5 second ads, but all of the ads I have encountered are 30 seconds unskippable. Pls make it so if you choose to not watch the ad, it doesn't force you to watch it anyways.

Was more fun before tons of ads. I used to only get ads if a lost a level and choose to watch an ad for a few more shots. Now there is an ad after every single stage. Every. Single. Stage. I tend to play games like this while on my commute and listening to an audio book. But there is now an ad every minute that pauses my book. It's awful.

High-quality gameplay, as always. However, there's a bit of a crashing problem. If the game crashes in the middle of a level, you are punished as you lose the "On Fire" bonus. There's also a lot if ads, but you can at least slow them down by choosing to watch one for in-game bonuses. Lastly, the game takes a lot of power, and may overheat a device. My phone is no pushover, but it gets tuckered out from more than an hour of play. All that said, play the game! It's addictive fun!

The biggest problem with the game is the insane amount of ads. Ads to get extra items, ads to prevent losing, ads to keep buffs. That's fine, whatever, game has to make money and you get something for it. However, when it starts playing an ad every single time you complete a level, it's borderline unplayable. It's actually faster to reopen the app than to sit through it. Game is a great time killer otherwise, but it just does not want you to play ever.

On the surface this is a simple puzzle game, but it's obvious that a great deal of effort went into this. Beautiful art, characters, animations, etc. Includes cool attacks that vary drastically per monkey, not to mention the wonderful music. Also no annoying forced adds, which is great, only optional ones. Only problem I can see is repetition/repetitive gameplay, thus can be avoided with updates. Overall a great experience so far.

I've had a relatively good time with this game thus far. The gameplay is fairly straightforward and doesn't take long to understand. Some levels can be a bit unforgiving/unfair (asking you to pop 1000+ bloons with 4 shots, for example), but for the most part, you can save yourself with heroes and power ups. You aren't required to watch ads most of the time, but sometimes even when you select the "no ad" option at the end of a level, you'll still get an ad. Looking forward to future updates.

It was a fun game, but it is too focused on making money. At level 28 the difficulty jumps up to near impossible to do without using ads or paying money for extra power then immediate drops back to usual difficulty for about 10 rounds and that cycle repeats. There are time barriers pushing you to spend money and after a while, it starts doing long ads after each level. Unless they change some of these, I can not recommend. I uninstalled the game as it became too much.

This is so different from the usual Tower Defense style gameplay but its uniqueness is refreshing and fun. 2023 update: Still a fun game but there is a small thing that would be a nice change. When you click on the map selection screen, it automatically puts you back at the top. If it instead put you on the map that you are currently on before switching, then that'd be really helpful so that you wouldn't have to constantly scroll down when opening multiple reward chests. A quality of life change

For the type of play-level-get-coin-upgrade-decorations game this is, it's more honest fun and entertainment than most I've played. The powerful combos and heroes are extremely satisfying to use, and that's my only real complaint. You have to get them first. There's randomness to it all, sometimes you'll get the exact combo you need for the level and other times you'll be stuck repeating a level because you got unlucky. The missions and team events gave me a reason to keep replaying, though.

Honestly really fun, can't wait to see the development and extra content. Everyone keeps complaining about lives or the need to use powers, but I've gotten to level 200 without expending enough lives to end up quitting for the day. The powers aren't needed all the time either. All the ads are optional, which is already awesome but THEN they allow you to do so many things. Extra shots, save yourself after failing, double rewards, -30 mins off of the crystal farming, a daily reward, and more.

It's a pretty fun game but definitely some bugs to be fixed for the next update 1 if you click out of the app when your daily rewards is up, you lose it as it goes away. 2 if you have speech bubbles up from the characters are talking and complete a milestone from building in the town, it glitches, causing the text to stay up and not go away, but you can click the milestone rewards and bloons in the background. It will make the text be clickable if you leave the app and come back.

Could be fun, if it wasn't broken. It seems like I'm stuck in a tutorial loop, where every level forces me to switch characters and tap only where it wants me to. Additionally, every time I boot the game the opening cutscene plays like the game is brand new. I can't press any other menu buttons other than play, and the tutorial dialogue frequently covers up continue buttons.
