Can be a tad confusing platform in the beginning, but also can be very informational. It's all about the user purpose and skill level. What are the feasible solutions for a skilled laborer who is out of work and does not have the ABILITY to verify a work email... I enjoy the threads, but this feature is annoyingly mandatory when it should be a choice.

I like the idea behind the app, but it has a lot of bugs. It keeps asking for the verification of my work email. I register with my email and password and still it keeps asking for my email. Very frustrating!!! I sent 5 emails to their support team. I received no fix and no answer. They keep telling me to register again.

Nice concept, Nice product overall. Satisfied. A few issues i observed with the app - - The clicking a comment thread, it opens twice, then needs to be close twice after you've read it. Pretty annoying. Not sure why it's happening. - The overall UX for exploration can be improved i feel. I can't visualise all the possible lounges. I usually click on the tag of a post to reach that lounge.

App will NOT let me use all the interactive features because I "havent verified my e-mail" when I clearly already HAVE VERIFIED my e-mail and received confirmation. I also restarted the app TWICE. Next thing ya know I'll get a response telling me to turn my phone off and on. Jeez what's the friggin' point of downloading 20+ megabytes of data to do stuff that I could've done with my pre-installed browser?

Awful experience, work emails are required to use the app properly and fully? Many corporate jobs that deserve peer review do not provide access to a work email, nor would I want to provide a work email if I could due to ANONYMITY. Disappointing hoop to jump through in order to get all features and not worth the trouble.

Decent app overall, but the latest version (3.40.1) shows a modal on every load telling me to update the app, even though I'm on the latest version already.

Ridiculous. App has been crashing on Android 14/pixel for a month, you did an update and decided to ignore it. Please show me your play console top issues, want to know what other urgent issues took priority.

App has some bugs. On my phone when I select a message on my inbox (My Chats), it doesn't open the message and doesn't show it. Generally, the app loads very slowly.

App is forcing to choose job category preference options, but there is "none of the above" is not an option. Either do a comprehensive job or give users a choice they don't fit in your categories. By the way the category you are missing is cybersecurity. The forced survey doesn't even support a back button and neither does it reset after reinstalling the app. Wonderfully engineered by blind fools.

The app has some quality problems. For example sometimes the post message bottom is broken and you cant post messages. Also, opening web links through the blind browser crashes the app a lot. In general the app is slow. Some of the threads are interesting, but blind is often toxic and hasnt been too useful for career advice.

Great App with a lot of the same content posted by different people. Every thread that is opened, folks ask for TC (total comp). Instead, if the app asked for it as an optional item while posting the thread, it would save everyone some time. When you click on a link to an external page, it posts the message 'Unable to access blind network at the moment'. Reddit for example does not do the same.

From a purely technical perspective, the app's good but has annoying bugs. For example, repeated comments show up while scrolling within a question (exact repeats of the same responses). This has been a consistent issue for months now. Content moderation is also practically non-existent and depends entirely on reports made by users. Posts on the app get seriously vitriolic and racist in the past 6 months or so. Some basic content rules, even keyword based filtering, might be a basic start.

The recent update forcing you to choose a bunch of areas of 'interest' in jobs before you can see any post is probably the acceleration of the enshittification of Blind that has been happening for a while. This move is the latest evidence that having built an audience, Blind is on the slippery slope of trying to squeeze more and more value out of the captive user base. Fortunately, there are several alternatives now to choose from now, which are what Blind used to be earlier.

I can't post anything. When I do a dialog box just pops up with a - in it. Tried relogging in and reinstalling it. I also hate how I will literally see the same ad over and over a few posts apart. Edit: developer responded and commenting has been fixed. The repeating ad problem is still here though. I counted 7 of the exact same ad in a row.

Was a great, clean app for keeping up to date on your company and industry but it's become hot garbage. They've added some picture thing you can't get rid of and keep subscribing you to spammy dumb channels. Notifications for both can't be turned off. I assume they're trying to improve engagement but it's simply gonna send me towards the uninstall button if it's not cleaned up soon.
