unfortunately, most of the businesses shown in my area are not black owned. I did take the time to flag a few of them but it's too many. I do have another app that I can use, but I did like the layout of the app.

Cool app. I think the most useful right now is the locator but the online shop is great for businesses trying to get their stuff out there since there's not much on there yet.

ok. App makes businesses easy to find. Great descriptions with links to Websites. The only problem that I have is that alot of the businesses are NOT black owned. And even when you flag the business its not removed. Nor do they allow you to add a comment to inform others

I want to use this app but every time I try to open it, it flashes the home page and then automatically opens/ gets stuck on the opening page (with the logo and white background). I hope this gets fixed soon as this is a great concept.

A little glitchy but overall great concept and easy to use. Sign-up was simple and the number of businesses on it already is extensive. It is quite similar to the Everywhere Is Queer app with the same glitches in the beginning, can't wait to see how this grows!

Installed the app, but can't use it because once it launches after the sign in, it goes to the BLAPP splash screen and then does nothing else. update: they're working on it. I'll give them 5* for less than 15 minutes turnaround time on the reply

I had the same issue as another reviewer that said "App freezes on the first pop-up screen. Neither the back button nor an x--because there is none--works to close the screen. This prevents access to the actual dashboard or main content in the app." This malfunction makes the app totally unusable. I tried fixing it by uninstalling and re-installing the app, but that didn't work.

I saw you on tiktok and was excited to have a better alternative to Amazon. Sadly, I keep getting the main screen after I log in and it's like a glitch. I deleted the app and reinstalled, but it's having the same issue. I hope you get the bugs worked out soon!

I love the idea and want to support. In five minutes I found two local businesses listed that are not Black-owned. I reported them to the app, but as of now it looks like I will have to double-check every entry I'm interested in, so it's a little inconvenient. Excited to see the app grow and improve!

I've been desperately trying to locate & support Black-owned businesses. However, ALL of the "Black-owned Business" apps SUCK at "tech functionality"!! These apps never function properly!! There are SOOOO many businesses listed that are NOT black-owned! When I try to flag them, it 1st tells me I need to complete my profile (cool). So I do just that, but when I go to submit, I ALWAYS get an error message stating my email is already taken. What email & where do I go to fix this?? DO BETTER!!!

So much potential. I always love supporting Black folks and businesses. The app downloaded fine, and I was able to sign up quick and easy. I had to already flag all the restaurants in my area because none of them are Black owned, and I have no clue how they even got there. I have flagged them, but they should have something where we can submit Black owned businesses in your area. I will keep the app in hopes it improves more, and I am hoping there will be more product options.

My only request is a search feature. I am hoping to avoid Amazon or big box stores for the products I want, but am unable to search for the subject or type of product I want. If that feature exists and I am not seeing it, please let me know! I love being able to explore by categories and to use the map feature when I am shopping locally.

App seems to be working as expected just not many postings in my area. It might be worth adding a way to nominate a business for inclusion so the postings can grow. Most business owners are too busy to research this marketing option so allowing friends/customers of businesses to add listings through the app would make great sense.

Had no problems installing everything worked perfectly was also able to verify I have an Android phone so I don't know if that has something to do with it. My only issue is that it seems to automatically try to default to there are at least 20 black owned businesses near me. Most of them are located over 30-40 minutes away. The two that were near me are definitely without a doubt not black owned businesses. I have been there and spoke to the owners. Not sure where they're getting their info

I really need to give a n/a rating, but you'll see why. Upon logging in I repeatedly experienced a {"type":"dismiss"} error. It basically takes a successful login and dismisses it. That is about the extent of my IT knowledge so idk how difficult it is to fix something like this. Tried logging in on multiple devices with the same result. Not going to let this deter me from using the app however, and I'm sure this will be resolved ASAP. Thank you in advance for your quick response to this query.

Really wanted to use this but..... Couldn't get passed the log in. I deleted the app and reinstalled it.... same thing. I would complete the successful log in and then it would take me right back to the first screen as if I just opened the app. Did this several times. Clearly, this has a lot of bugs so I just deleted it and maybe I will try back again in 6 months or so. This has so much potential and I am really in need of an app like this. Hope for the best...!!!!

I have big hopes for this app! I see their vision. There are some ends that don't meet. Firstly, I love the interface. it's clean and concise. The graphics are nice and it's easy to find businesses based on location. I do wonder if these businesses are vetted first. There are a lot that clearly display all white owners. I just downloaded and am experiencing lagging and no refreshing. have to close the whole app. I'd love to see more information about each business in the future. ❤️

I love the idea. It definitely lists business near me that I didn't know were actually Black owned. love that. But it gets stuck sometimes, and I have to close the app then open it again. and it doesn't link to anyone's website it just lists addresses and phone numbers. A web link would be super helpful especially if it's a place I'd want to book an appointment or see if they have anything I actually want. I also didn't see a place to list a business that isn't there. It can only get better!
